No one can be set free from sin unless they obey from the heart the doctrine of Christ. An essential part of Biblical Salvation is being SET FREE FROM SIN. If one has not been set free from sin then they are still the slave of sin and by definition NOT SAVED.
If while we seek to be justified in Christ it becomes evident that we ourselves are sinners, does this mean that Christ promotes sin? Absolutely not! If I rebuil;d what I destroyed I prove that I am a lawbreaker
Gal2:16&17
A sinner is not free if they still yield to the lusts of the flesh in disobedience to God and sin.

I guess to you, unless they instantly crucify the flesh to death with all their scars and hurts they ain't saved. Unless their heart is instantly as pure as the driven snow, they thery've had it. God rejects them outrightly. That may be how you see it, but it isn't how Paul saw it, or Spurgeon. Of course you reject Spurgeon don't you? He said he saw prostitutes hearts changed to be as pure as the driven snow, but I guess that counts for nothing to you.
He followed what Paul taught in the above. The moment you accept Christ into your life as Lord and Saviour you are saved. Much sin you can immediately stop, for it does not wrap itself tightly around you, but what of the rest? The deep seated sin caused through much pain probably a person has experianced in their life. Only one way to have victory, look to Christ and trust him, and never shifting from doing so. This is not used as a license for sin by the sincere convert, for the good and Holy laws if God He would have them keep have been written on their heart and mind. They have but one hope, looking away from themselves and to Christ. That's what Paul was talking about in Gal2:16&17
If they look to themselves, ie they must crucify immediately their own flesh and have a heart instantly pure as the driven snow, they will fail and simply prove they are a lawbreaker
I'm sorry to say Skinski, but I do think you are more interested in self promotion than the true Gospel of how sin shall not be a persons master.
It comes accross to me strongly as, look what I've done
I'VE crucified my flesh
I'VE made my heart as pure as the driven snow
You cannot in your heart give the glory to God, as He demands with that attitude I am afraid
Goodnight
