i am a feminist...and this kind of thinking annoys me to no end...
this idea that leadership roles including 'the very top' are superior to or more honorable than the other roles is a male centric paradigm that goes back to societies in which -whatever roles the men held- were considered to be the more honorable roles that implied a greater worthiness...
just the use of the word 'top' to refer to a specific role implies a mindset of social stratification...
if you still think one role is 'the very top' and the other roles are 'lower' then you are still playing by -their- rules...
anyone who thinks being a 'leader' is inherently superior to being a 'helper' should try spending just one day 'leading' an army of nobody with no help from anyone...
now i am just going to stop before this becomes a rant...
