Yes. Humans evolved from a common ancestors and if you keep tracing that backwards it reaches fish and single cell species. The fish linage we came from was a species of Tiktaalik and before that a type of jawed fish.

If humans and dinosaurs ( dragons ) interacted together we would have evidence of it in the fossil record such as scarred dinosaur bones from human tools and so on.
Are you kidding ? There's no evolutionist would expose that evidence if they had it or not .. But you're convinced the evidence soft dino tissue is millions of yrs old .. Who has bewitched you ? And there is recorded evidence from all over earth in architecture, cave art, crafted items, written accounts and biblical account .. But also notice there is a Yin and a Yang choice to believe God or that He is a lie .. It boils down to God can create such an even playing field and it comes down to each individual free will choice concerning Jesus .. If every body knew the truth and reality of eternal hell there would be no Atheists or evolutionists ..

And Paul said ,
29 Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?
30 And why stand we in jeopardy every hour?

We suffer persecutions for witnessing Jesus to warn people so that some can be saved from hell , to some our message is salvation but to others condemnation ..

I thought I saw a post about a simple single cell, there is no such thing .. Irreducibly complex systems could never ever evolve, only follow its design ..
And what about death and old age ? From what I understand is your mitochondria wears out and telomeres divide become shorter and eventually unable to replicate perfect replacement cells , it's that easy to say it but not so simple to do, why not ? Because even though we replace every cell in our body every 7 years we also are born mortal flesh infected with Adams sin .. We all die in the flesh but with an immortal soul that only belief in Jesus gospel can save . You'd think Mitochondria/telomere perfect cell replication ability would be a breeze within all the complex systems, within systems, and within systems ..

Why and how could a random godless accident produce male and female to produce offspring to carry on when if we evolved an instinct to survive the mitochondria/telomere problem would be ''a walk on the park'' by evolution comparison .. Many kinds of animals fight and must win to gain mating rights , again the telomere problem would be the simpler thing to evolve if possible and it is not possible because there is no evolution to begin with ..

All the data indicates we evolved from a fish. That’s what evolutionist teach as well.

I posted the links before. The actual scientist who found the soft tissue is a Christian who believes in evolution. The actual scientist who found it talks about how it occurred and now that we know to look for it, they are finding it in many things. It’s a testament to evolution, not something that undermines it.

I tried to google search it and assume it essentially means “ full of crap” as if we are predisposing our paradigms onto the interpretation of the data. That’s simply not true and I believe it’s actually you who is trying to force their paradigm into understanding data that contradicts it.

Here is a decent explanation of how it works.

https://letterstocreationists.wordpress.com/dinosaur-soft-tissue/

You can also read the scientist’s interview herself here that talks about this misrepresentation that creationist tries to force into her findings.

https://biologos.org/articles/not-so-dry-bones-an-interview-with-mary-schweitzer/

You can also find many other scientifically peer reviewed journals on this since it’s about a decade old finding.

I had seen years ago when they were scrambling trying to find any lie to explain the soft tissue and the best but ridiculous excuse they could find was that the iron in the blood cells ''FE'' is what preserved the soft tissue for tens of millions of years ..
Bwahahaha , com'on man , do you really believe that ?

And your second link was a typical ''how dare you question me or my work, you mean ole creationist''

You said this was newer findings by old earthers as in old world creationist? The article does not indicate anything is religious in nature. Are you suggest Sarah Pruitt is a old earth creationist or that the scientist who found what they believe ( it’s not known yet ) is soft tissue? If so I would appreciate a link in their religious views.

No one was scrambling. I don’t think you’re mean. I just think you’re misinformed about science and theology. I understand you think the same but I have no reason to think your mean. If I did not enjoy the conversation I would not go back and forth. If I get exhausted of it I’ll back off. I’m off today, Sunday, and so I’ve had more time to engage in conversation. Starting Monday I’ll be back to 14 hour work days rebuilding dune walks damaged from the hurricane. When that happens I’ll be less responsive.

I am curious what makes you believe that soft tissue can be preserved for several thousand years but not millions?

As for the links I’m simply showing you what scientists have responded to when meeting similar claims to the ones you believe. I share them for two purposes. 1. For you, the intended and direct audience and 2. For those who actually read through these forums until they are not on the internet anymore. I’ve had a handful of people who is read through various discussions on here that then reached out to me through BioLogos.

I see. You were replying to the paradigm of her and not me when you said “mean ole creationist”.

She was not attacking them. She mentioned , since it’s a interview about her and her work and her life experiences between science and faith, the issues from atheists and creationists. One issue she does not like is when unqualified people misrepresents her work or when she’s falsely accused of being evil.

I definitely understand that. As a Christian who strongly believes in God and his word I’m often treated as less qualified by atheists and as someone who sees the clear evidence of science pointing towards evolution I am also accused by Christians for not having faith in God or the Bible. Which is ridiculous. I constantly bring up my faith. I’m not ashamed of it or Christ. I’m not ashamed that I believe in God and that includes that his word is divinely inspired and that he determines my morality. I’ve not even kissed a woman in 10 years because I was not willing to date someone and fall in love because my ex divorced me and I was not sure where I stood with marriage, divorce, and remarriage. I was not sure if the Pauline “exception” was real or not or if I was not understanding what being let lose of bondage meant in 1 corinthians 7.

After studying it out I have came to the conclusion that adultery is not the only reason for remarriage but that’s it’s also possible if your spouse is not a Christian and divorced you then you are set free. I was not a Christian when I got married. I became a Christian shortly after being married. So now I’m into my fourth year of being engaged to a woman I met through an arranged engagement that I entered by faith after praying and reading scripture.

So I’m constantly having to explain to Christians that I can believe 100%! In the Bible and still not believe it’s 100% literal but see the clear evidence that genesis 1-11 is not about literal history but setting up biblical patterns. After all you can read any 12 chapters of genesis 12+, exodus, acts and any other historical narrative basically and see a clear distinction in writing styles from genesis 1-11.

I'm glad you don't think I'm mean, I'm not .. But I am super confident and put total faith in the Word of God .. First, if you can't distinguish between about 4000 years vs 93 million years (the dinosaur evolution age dropped from 200 million to 93 million overnite with the soft tissue exposed) you have no grasp on reality . Second there's lots and lots more stuff being revealed by God in these End Times .. You need to stop your nonsense and get on the real scripture backed ''Jesus Bus'' .. He knows the way forward and backward while the road to hell is running out of exits fast .. I used to ''know'' evolution was true but when I believed and become born again I only knew Jesus was real , I believed the Word of God even though I didn't know anything but Jesus all of a sudden.. I began to see how ridiculous evolution theory is for the first time .. I am convinced Darwin and evolution theory is part of the great end time lie and delusion from hell .. I think I read that 75% of bible believers who go to secular college since Darwin lose their faith beginning in their first year .. They believe the lie ..

I’m not delusional. I’m asking you to explain what process could preserve soft tissue for 10,000 years and why can’t that work for millions of years.

Secondly I know evolution is the most likely answer because of science. It does not require faith. It’s not the Bible I have a problem with. It’s merely the literal interpretation of genesis 1-11. Which is definitely not the god inspired interpretation.

Lots of Christians do lose their faith in college. But it’s not because of science. Yes, they see the clear evidence and know that evolution is obviously true. But what makes them fall is being forced by people to either choose scientific evidence or a single interpretation of 11 chapters. That’s why BioLogos was created. It’s there to show Christians that a better interpretation of scripture is to see the actual mythological context of early genesis. That they can believe 100% in God, the Bible and in science.
