John 11.9

Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble because he sees the light of the world.

Yes....God DID say this!
God also said the day in gen 1 was from evening to morning.

not as you want me to believe, as long ages.

Block it from your mind...

I'm familiar with the main beliefs, I just didn't know which one you specifically ascribed to.

You should have, brother....we went over this same exact material not more than a couple months ago...

it appears he is of the belief that the six days of creation were not literal days. but long ages..

which would be different than the gap theory..

Literal days just like the text states, and the lexicons verify...

No.

Ages...just like I posited from ANY lexicon.

No. Thats your interpretation. which is one POSSIBLE interpretation.

Evening and morning says that your interpretation is invalid.

As I proved from many lexicons.

Where is the 'evening and morning' for day seven....?

1. God rested. thus did not have to say evening and morning.

2. God set this day aside and made it holy (sabaath day) and later said, as God rested on the 7th day, we should rest on this day also.

next.........

Day seven was opened.......but never closed.

Hence.....again...cannot be 24hrs....

Never mind, selective memory. I did an Advanced Search and found the discussion. You're right about that one but I still don't hold any credence to your belief about the creation account. For example: Things like telescoping the genealogies in the Bible, in the belief that only the most important descendants were included, renders them nigh on useless.

Yes they do..

where do you think OEC came from..

you do not even know your own history.

The catachlism of the flood destroys OEC and evolution. as we find out what truely happened in that event.. As you was shown earlier.
But there's no evidence of a global flood. (I know, I'm opening up a large can of worms)

You're only assuming there was a massive flood because that's what the Bible said, and therefore you pick out any evidence that might support a global flood. And when people point out how flawed the evidence supporting your claim is, you claim the evidence isn't flawed because if it were, then it would mean the flood never happened, and if the flood never happened, then the Bible would be wrong - which is impossible since it's the word of God.

If you want to have a discussion based on evidence, then let's use the evidence to form the facts, not the facts to form the evidence.

No.

God said the evening and the morning are the first day. And I showed you the hebrew meanings.

are you going to sit here and argue what God said? Keep it up. You will lose any credability and argumental standing you may have..

I am not denying the word. You are.
Who's word are we going to trust? God's word... as written down by man and as preached by man, or scientists... men and women who observed numerous types of evidences through double blind experiments that are repeatable and all conclude the same thing?

God said it.
Did God say it directly to you, or did someone tell you God said it?

Have you not read the NT...in which it informs the reader to AVOID debate on the genealogies...as they are fruitless in arriving at dates?

Seriously? Avoid debating genealogies? Yes, but he didn't mean historical genealogies.
