Jesus called us to come and listen to Him. He puts His Spirit IN those who seek Him and He Himself guides His sheep. He says:"My sheep listen to My voice and they follow Me."

Jesus never stopped speaking but believers are not listening, because many of them do not know that Jesus is alive and that He speaks! Has satan also deceived you? Or have you received the Holy Spirit? Are you LISTENING to the Holy Spirit, being LED by Him, being TAUGHT by Him? Are you in relationship with Jesus or are you busy with Bible study?

You make some good points, but you also must be careful with that perspective. You say, "He did not send us a Bible, he sent us the Holy Spirit...", and that isn't completely accurate. Also, what happens when you hear something from this spirit that goes contradictory to what is in the Word? Does the Spirit override the Word, or do they come in agreement? Does the Holy Spirit contradict the Father and Son, or does He come in agreement? He comes in agreement because they are one.

Once again, you make some good points. It isn't a religion, its a relationship and the Lord desires fellowship and the Holy Spirit desires communion. Just be careful in the way you articulate that, because someone might start hearing things that are contrary to the Word and they have nothing to cross examine what they are learning and whether it is from God.

What are you talking about? are you saying that the bible is invalid and not from God? Because this says other wise Timothy 3:16
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,
without the holy spirit we cannot read the word of God because we would only see the outer layer of the scriptures like many who study the bible to do battle with Christians. The bible is like an onion or the earths crust it has many many layers, each scripture has more power in it than a nuke.

The Bible is not just a book it is not just a way to study about Christianity it is the very heart of God himself

Satan loves to lead church leaders into prideful behavior. This is no different than when Jesus walked the earth. The religious leaders of his day were interested only in self-aggrandizement.

And, since you're posting for someone else, how big is this friendship that the person never visits the friends? Not much of a friendship if the person never reaches out to friends?

I've seen a few of his videos and I feel ashamed I even watched them.
This guy posting them is most likely one of his many "followers" who believe his is some kind of saint or something. Idk. It's all kinds of messages up.

because it seems like every post Matthias makes is a quote from him.

most of us have certain human teachers that we've been influenced by, but i would personally feel a bit weird about constantly quoting anyone, unless it were Christ, or Paul or John or Solomon or someone - i just know nothing about who this other man is or what his doctrine is.

on-topic, as far as the OP -- what, isn't all scripture given for our instruction and useful for us? i don't quite understand what this man is trying to say, and leery that he's trying to tell me that a relationship with Christ and studying the revealed testimony in the scripture are mutually exclusive??

too bad he's not here himself to explain it.

i guess, off to youtube land to try to find more info? or is that a waste of my time? looks like Pres says: "it's a waste of your time, post."

Most of his "followers" act like this man posting these. It's sad.

I feel it's a waste of time but then again that's because I just watched some videos to help me understand who this man is. My research showed me he is a false teacher.

No need to thank me. I just dont want anyone being led astray. I know, I don't understand the bible the way I should but I understand enough to know right from wrong. I just hope no one listens to this false teaching.

This is just a part of "Bible is the mark of the beast" movement. It's a been lot of YouTube confusion for at least 4-5 years as far as I know... part of why I'm not active on YouTube anymore. It's a giant mess and it's ugly. A lot of destruction of the sheep in the friendly fire of doctrinal arguing.

Jan and others who follow him seem to me to be honest and zealous for God. Seeking the Holy Spirit's guidance on everything is extremely important, but they are also misguided because they tell people Bible is corrupted. One would think that they would understand, being focused on the Holy Spirit's guidance, how the Spirit delivers exactly what God wants the person to know at the moment while they read the Bible, regardless of translations or even errors, even though the Bible is not corrupted and the original texts have been preserved and backed up from the old times. If you know God, you know what He would've said. That's knowing the Spirit in effect. The Spirit even used my errors while reading (misreading a word or a sentence) to convey things to me! Like in Psalm 4, "God hast set apart him that is godly for himself", well I misread it to mean "God has set far away from Him the one that is self righteous" which is not what the text said, the verse is about God separating His servants to be with Him. But it was something that the Spirit wanted me to know at the time.

I plead with every and any reader to not dive into the YouTube madness when they are looking for guidance and learning. YouTube is grounds to severe confusion and you can run into some really messed up people that are actually occultists masquerading as Christians who stalk others and do other messed up stuff to trip people out. (I'm not speaking this about Boshoff or anyone else from his group, I'm just saying that one can encounter really messed up people nowadays on YouTube, cults and whatnot). Find a good church nearby or some solid online community like CC. Open your Bibles and pray to the Holy Spirit to speak into your heart and show you truth, in the Bible as well as about anything else. Please do not look for the Way on YouTube groups or similar enclosed communities.
