I think we need to pray a prayer of healing for God's True church on Earth. where Jesus is our Pastor, Comforter and Teacher. When I was in college we made a 1000 paper peace cranes so that we could wish for world peace and sent them to Hiroshima in honor of a little girl who died of Leukemia from the atomic bomb. I think more then ever we need to pray for those exposed to the nuclear fallout and for those without homes, food, clothes, clean drinking water, the luxury of being on a computer and reading this message. I think we need to think beyond petty quarrels to the bigger picture. WHy fight over doctrine when God calls us to act? Refuse to listen to the demons that tell you not to MOVE, to sit on your butt and do nothing but type endless words to glorify your own knowledge.

So for lent I am fasting in prayer for healing of the earthly church so that we can stand united and represent a harmonious body of Christ and do the work God wants us to do in this world. Let HIS will not OURs be done. we are to listen to the HOLY SPIRIT that resides inside the hearts of all true believers. WE ARE UNITED in Christ Jesus. Fast with me as Isaiah 58 told us to fast, not with food or to cause contention but a fast of GOOD WORKS:
Isaiah 58:6-9 (New King James Version)
6 “ Is this not the fast that I have chosen:
To loose the bonds of wickedness,
To undo the heavy burdens,
To let the oppressed go free,
And that you break every yoke?
7 Is it not to share your bread with the hungry,
And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out;
When you see the naked, that you cover him,
And not hide yourself from your own flesh?
8 Then your light shall break forth like the morning,
Your healing shall spring forth speedily,
And your righteousness shall go before you;
The glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard.
9 Then you shall call, and the LORD will answer;
You shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’
“ If you take away the yoke from your midst,
The pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness,
stop acting like spoiled kids and become mature Christians. LISTEN to Your father's words, READ your bible. ACT like children or God and not upon fleshy worldly ways. Jesus DIED for you and gave YOU a place in Heaven. What have you done to glorify the Lord today????

But would like to answer this myself.
No!
reasons.
1. Only Christ is said to be able to mediate between god and man
2. mary and the saints have not yet been ressurected, or given their glorified bodies, and thus are still awaiting the "finality" of their salvation. so how could they mediate for anyone else.
3. mary and the saints are not omniscient, Thus, Unlike God, They can not hear a prayer from a person on this side of the earth, and the other sidae at the same time, even if they could hear any prayers at all. (Gabriel, an angel, had to be sent from God to daniel, and travel a long distance to get to him) so why would we think mary and any saint would be able to do more than this before they are resurected? (or even could after)
4. mary and the saints were sinners, Who only were saved by Gods grace based on what his son did. Not because they earned it. Thus they have no "bargening power" to mediate on the behalf of anyone, as they are in the same state we are in.

to know the true church is how the bible tells us,the church is not walls,pews,it is not a building,it is us.All churches have faults,as long as people run them they always will but a true child of God holds to the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ.The bible is what the truth is built upon,not a building,not a pastor,not a denomination but a belief in Jesus.I must disagree with your post,the trinity is in the bible,do your research.I will give you scripture,read 1 John 5:7,which tells us that there are three in heaven that are one,AMEN

Those of you who constantly speak of the Nicene Creed, Council of Trent, Constantinople, etc, as if it's the Bible need to understand first of all why they even gathered in the beginning. FEAR; FEAR; of the new Emperor! Not a good foundation to do a joining of all the Churches. Here might be a big shock for some of you. The reason why they were so divided then is the same reasons for so much division today. Satan had deceived them. The true original Church was scattered.
The (TRUE CHURCH of GOD) is within, the true, called out, Children of God. God himself will build his church, by calling out from among all the denominations, those who obey his commandments & are not following the doctrines & traditions of men!!!!

lol Tigger you should read this book, we're doing it in our women's study right now we're on the chapter that talks about taking off the robes of Religion and traditions

Sorry guys, sometimes you must realize that we women don't tell you everything because we know how you'd react "I kill him" comes to mind if I was to tell my husband or brothers everything that has happened to me.
Sisters, remember you are not alone and God loves you and has great plans for you.
Brethren we need to stand united and get rid of the wolves in sheep's clothing and reveal them for who they really are. Let the TRUE children of God stand united against our enemies.
