We will disagree, the existing heaven and Earth will be dissolved by the Lord's fire, it will be replaced by the New Creation of the New Heaven, Earth, and Jerusalem.

The scripture presented showing the (Earth) lasting forever represents the (New Earth)

(Behold, I Make All Things New)

....
No. Scripture describes the purging of the earth as if it CLOTHES where burned up. Psalm 102:25-26 reads; "Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands. They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed." Again, Hebrews 1:10-12 says"; "And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail."

A "garment" in parable is ones WORKS (e.g. Isa.61:3, Ps.73:6, Rev.19:8). That is, the surface of the earth with all its works, and the memory of these works will be burned up. But the physical earth remains. Notice that the earth is not annihilated. It is "changed"

In all those scriptures I gave you which say that the earth is made to remain, it is the literal earth. The New Earth is, according to the Greek, the same earth, but RENEWED. The word "perish" in both these verses does not mean that they cease to be. It means that they stopped being fit for their intended purpose. A good example is the Titanic. It is a ship. It hit an iceberg and is "destroyed". It "perished". But the Titanic is still a ship. The difference is that instead of doing the intended purpose of sailing ON the waves, it is now sunk BELOW the waves.

But if you still doubt, then try this little test. Before you were born again you were you. Now you are born again and a "New Creature" (2nd Cor.5:17). How "NEW" are you? This word "NEW" in 2nd Corinthians 5:17 is "kainos" in the Greek - the same word in "NEW heavens" and "NEW earth" in Revelation 21:1. You are a "new creature", but physically you remain.

But the bible says that Jesus has to reign on earth and declare his authority in the new 3rd temple of Israel. Who do you think overcomes the Antichrist and overcomes Satan after he is loosened.

I respect your views. But the prophetic books of the Bible use much symbolism. To me, the "New Earth" - couldn't be in a separate location from where God lives, since there are verses that indicate that God's people from earth - will live directly where He lives and with Him.
1 Thess 4:17

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
KJV

Rev 21:23-24

23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
KJV

I'm sure God can cause whatever He wants to happen to have victory over the Anti-christ and against the devil. God has done many miracles throughout the Bible.

There will be no future 1,000 kingdom on this earth, with (Mortal Humans) present, found no place in scripture, nowhere!

Revelation 20:1-6 below is 100% in the Lord's spiritual, no kingdom on earth or mortal humans are seen (None)

100% Spiritual Seen Below, No Kingdom On Earth Or Humans Seen.

Angel, Heaven, Devil, Satan, The Souls, The Dead, God, Christ.

Revelation 20:1-6KJV
20 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
None of those support your conclusion.
Why did you ad...mortal humans...to it. That changes the point of discussion.
Setting that aside for a moment;

Why does the Bible tell us that Christ will be headquartered in Jerusalem?
Why does scriptures tell us that we will be required to make a trip to Jerusalem once a year or we get no rain?
Many other similar references...what do those references mean?...please explain.

You suggest that Zechariah 14 below is a mortal human kingdom upon this existing earth?

The chapter below shows (The Day Of The Lord) as seen in Zech 1:1 below, this is (The Same Day Of The Lord) as seen in 2 Peter 3:10-13 when this earth is DISSOlVED by the Lord's fire in judgement.

Verse 1.) The Day Of The Lord

Verse2.) The battle of Armageddon, All Nations Are Gathered

Verses 3-5.) The second coming of Jesus Christ to the battle of Armageddon.

Verses 6-7.) Eternal Light, in the Eternal Kingdom, New Heaven and Earth Rev 22:1-2

Verse 8.) The river of life in the eternal kingdom New Heaven, Earth, Rev 22:1-2

Verse 10.) The New Creation being revealed, the plain is lifted up.

Verse 12.) The Lord's Last Day Judgement By Fire, Men Are Consumed As They Stand On Their Feet, 2 Peter 3:10-13

The Eternal Kingdom In The New Heaven And Earth Seen Below, Zech 14:1-21

Zechariah 14 King James Version (KJV)
14 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
3 Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.
6 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:
7 But it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.
8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.
9 And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.
10 All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king's winepresses.
11 And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.
12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.
13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the Lord shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.
14 And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.
15 And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague.
16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.
18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the Lord will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
20 In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, Holiness Unto The Lord; and the pots in the Lord's house shall be like the bowls before the altar.
21 Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the Lord of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the Lord of hosts.

2 Peter 3:10-13KJV
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

To me, it looks like the "Jerusalem" referred to in Zechariah 14, is the heavenly "Jerusalem" which is in heaven with God. And represents the abode of all saints from earth who'll be in heaven after the end of the world. Prophetic parts of the Bible use much symbolism, and so shouldn't be understood literally, in some cases, I believe. It is better to compare scriptures on subjects, and then prayerfully decide what seems to be the most reasonable conclusion to make - in efforts to interpret the Bible as correctly as is possible.

Rev 3:12

12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
KJV

Also, the Bible says that this present earth we live on, will be completely destroyed, after the end of the world.
2 Peter 3:10

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
KJV

Also, the scriptures say we will be FOREVER WITH THE LORD, not in some separate place.
1 Thess 4:17

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
KJV

And His presence will provide light, so that there will be no need of sun or moon there.

Your conclusion of my assessment ...is wrong.

Not mortal...new bodies...remember?
Even with the new bodies we are once again tested by Christ , by letting Satan loose for a while.

Yes...saved from all ages...with new bodies...on earth.

I have no doubt and believe the Bible validates the conclusion that when Christ returns at the battle of armageddon He will have headquarters in the east for 1000 years.
