I SAMUEL CHAPTER ONE

At first, he is a hard worker but when he becomes king of Israel, he makes two golden calves one in Bethel and one in Dan because he does not want the Israelites to go to worship to Jerusalem and lose the kingdom of Israel. So he acts badly against God which leads to the destruction of his house.

- Rehoboam: (Judah) – bad king

He acts badly against god and builds high places and sacred pillars and sacred poles. So the king of Egypt comes and takes all the treasures of the house of God and of the king’s house. And Jeroboam and Rehoboam keep faighting.

- Abijam: (judah) – bad kim

He acts badly against God. Abijam and Jeroboam fight.

 

[JLG]

- Asa, Abijam’s son: (Judah) – good king

He follows God like David, he destroys everything except the high places but his heart was complete with God all his life. He and Baasha (king of Israel) keep fighting. And Asa gives money to the king of Syria to help him against Baasha who leaves Asa alone.

- Nadab: (Israel) – bad king

He acts badly against God.

 

[JLG]

- Nadab: (Israel) – bad king

He acts badly against God. He is killed by Baasha who becomes king.

- Baasha: (Israel) – bad king


He acts badly against God.

- Elah, Baasha’s son: (Israel) - no information

He is killed by Zimri.

- Zimri becomes king for 7 days and he kills himself.

- Zimri: (Israel) – bad king

- Omri: (Israel) – bad king worst than all who were prior to him

- Ahab, Omri’s son: (Israel) – bad king worse than all those who were prior to him.

He becomes to serve Baal. He builds him an altar and a sacred pole. Ahab goes with Jehoshaphat, king of Judah against the king of Syria. And Ahab dies during the battle.

- Jehoshaphat, Asa’s son: (Judah) – good king

He follows God like his father Asa but he does not remove the high places. He keeps peaceful relations with the king of Israel.

- Jehoram, Jehoshaphat’s son: (Judah) -

- Ahaziah, Ahab’s son: (Israel) – bad king

He acts badly against God like his father. He falls and dies.

- Jehoram, Ahab’s son: (Israel) – bad king

He acts against God but he removes the sacred pillar of Baal. Then Jehoram, king of Israel and Jehoshaphat, king of Judah and the king of Edom go against Moab. And God destroys the king of Moab and his army because of Jehoshaphat.

- Jehoram, Jehoshaphat’s son: (Judah) – bad king

He acts badly against God because of his wife, Ahab’s daughter.

- Ahaziah, Jehoram’s son: (Judah) – bad king

He acts against God. He goes with Jehoram, Ahab’s son, against the king of Syria and Jehoram is wounded. Then Elisha anoints Jehu as king of Israel. And Jehu kills Jehoram and Ahaziah ande Jezebel. And Jehu destroys all the house of Ahab and the house of Ahaziah and he kills all the worshippers of Baal and everything in connection with Baal. But he doesn’t destroy the golden calves. But Jehu doesn’t follow God’s law.

- Jehoash, Ahaziah’s son: (Judah) – good king

He is instructed by the priest Jehoiada but it does not remove the high places. He makes the house of God to be repaired. The king of Syria goes to attack Jerusalem so the king gives him money so he withdraws. And his servants kill him.
