- Hezekiah, ahaz’s son: (Judah) – good king
He follows God like David and he removes the high places. And the sacred pillars and the sacred pole and the copper serpent made by Moses. There was no one like him among the kings of Judah before or after him. The king of Assyria goes against Judah and Hezekiah gives him money to leave. But the king of Assyria does not go away. And Hezekiah prays god for help who answers him. God’s angel kills 185,000 Assyrians in one night so the king of Assyria goes back to Assyria. Then Hezekiah becomes ill and he must die but he prays God who gives him 15 years more. Then Hezekiah shows all his treasures to the men of Babylon. As a consequence, Isaiah tells Hezekiah that all his treasures will go to Babylon after his death and the Jews will go to Babylon.
