The desire to remarry goes away?? Then no Christian should ever get married because we're all supposed to focus on Christ.
I was just talking about myself in regard to marriage and sex. I was never married so I'm thinking I'm one of those eunuchs the Bible talks about.

I used to get sad about not being married, but the Lord had pointed out to me that I was letting societal pressures get to me. He ask me in my heart if I was actually unhappy with the unmarried status I was in and I really thought about it - I'm not! I don't feel less valued or less of a person not ever being married and I still experience fun and joy without a spouse. I'm pretty happy being single because the Lord is in my life!

So please don't take my post as something that can be applied to all Christians. Sorry, I should have explained further!

You cannot do that when you are married bro. You have to please others not yourself. Wifey is always telling me to turn the volume down nowadays ROFL.
My wifey is telling me to get a haircut.

Focus on serving the LORD in the meantime and maybe he will reward you with the woman you desire.

"Delight yourself in the LORD and He will give you the desires of your heart." Please read Ps. 3:3-31

Prayerfully...
Tried that for decades, never worked.

Some read it that way, and some don't. And, in Scripture there is zero account
of any angel taking on the form of a human aside from the express will of God.
It doesn't say in Genesis 6 that the 'sons of God' took on human form.

They were not thrown out of heaven because of sex, they were thrown out for siding with Satan.
They left their habitation.

But where do you get the idea that these angels in Jude were thrown out of heaven for siding with Satan. It doesn't say that.

How do those who believe angels copulated with human females figure the dastardly deed was done to reproduce?.

And the great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the
whole world. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him. Revelation 12:9
seems the likeliest verse :)

This is correct. One-third of the holy angels rebelled and were cast out of the third heaven (God's Heaven).
Where do we get the one third of angels? The third of stars in heaven from the book of Revelation. That's an embedded traditional interpretation. But now we have Christians insisting that the book of Revelation is about the future... but then this one passage is still referred to as evidence for a past rebellion.

Also, the idea of Satan being Lucifer and that King of Tyre and King of Babylon passages are really about him is kind of shaky exegetical grounds. But the tradition of the interpretation is really strong and gets repeated as if it were really explicit doctrine taught in scripture.

The word translated 'satan' in one passage and not another shows up in the Bible to refer to the angel in the pathway that the donkey tried to ovoid and the angel striking the people of Jerusalem before David sacrificed at the then-future temple site.

But it was not all these evil angels which had intercourse with human women. Just some. And because of that they were locked up in the prison called "Tartarus" in order to await their final judgment (the Lake of Fire).
It doesn't say whether these sons of God joined with the nachash serepent of Genesis in a rebellion.

Are you saying that scripture doesn't work?

Maybe you could rent a billboard 'Looking for a wife' with your picture on it. I heard a guy did that maybe 10 or 15 years ago. He might have been a doctor or a millionaire or something like that. I remember he was in some desirable category for women to marry. :) I don't know what happened after that.

Have you tried getting set up by ethnic minorities?

I believe the thinking was that it would corrupt the image of God in man.

Why are you unable to connect the dots? If a third of the angels with Satan are being driven out of the first heaven (atmospheric) by Michael in Revelation 12, then it follows that a third of them were cast out of the third heaven (God's Heaven) as soon as they rebelled?

Which of course is an excellent point.
presidente said, It doesn't say in Genesis 6 that the 'sons of God' took on human form.

However it seems to me that those who believe angels took human wives and had children with them, believe that angels took on human form. If this is not what any believe, how then was reproduction accomplished? Especially since kind reproduces after kind.

I agree. Which is what makes it an excellent point.

I don't think that would be a good thing because they might not marry him for true love. They might end up falling in love .... with his citizenship.

There may have been a "possession" of the body of a human male first.
Much like the end-time man of sin is likely possessed by Satan.

Nobody knows for sure, other than they did produce offspring.

They call it "falling" in love for a reason. And humans do it all the time, even if they are sons of God.
