Do you actually think that the Holy Spirit is going to use the word "church" throughout chapters 1 thru 3, with the word "Saints" never used within those same chapters and then likewise, use only the word "Saints" and never use the word "church" again without there being some meaning behind it? Or do you think that it was just a coincidence that the Holy Spirit used only the word "Church" throughout chapter 1 thru 3 and then never uses it again throughout the rest of the narrative? The trib is NOT a time for us! We are a particular dispensation> the church age. Why would God want us around when he is busy with those whom have been set aside till then? Why would the righteous be punished along with the unrighteous? That isnt justice! That is tyranny!!

They are not looking with their spiritual eyes for their savior to take them up before it all happens. I fear many will not be ready and I just dont know yet how God is going to deal with these people. He did state a very frightening warning about adding to the words in rev didnt he? rev 22:18-19. That warning is not the same as the one he mentioned in proverbs.

Also, i have a big mouth (a little too brutally honest and intolerant of willful foolishness sometimes).
That signature comes from 2 Corinthians 12. Paul said it. What i meant was, i have more to gain by being honest with myself and others about the person i am in general than i do from hiding a bunch of garbage inside and looking good on the outside (I'd like to err on the side of being humble in honesty over prideful if possible).

It is always a blessing when I see that someone has the same Spirit and the same word. The glory is God's for it is His word and I am thankful for what he has revealed to me and I am zealous to share it, contend for it, correct and rebuke.
I agree with you and have said the same. Jesus said that he would build his church and the gates of Hades would not prevail against it. Yet, we have people who think that once he builds his church, that he is going to send them through his wrath right along with the unrighteous. I have said this many times, many do not understand the severity and the magnitude of the wrath that is going to come upon this earth. And the other issue is, they have not discerned between the common trials and persecutions which come at the hands of mankind and the powers of darkness, opposed to God's, unprecedented, specific time of wrath, which continues up until Christ's return to the earth to end the age. What they have also not understood is that, Christ took upon himself the wrath that we deserve as result of our sins and God's wrath has therefore been satisfied for those who believe. That said, it would be a slap in the face to Christ who took upon himself that wrath and then for believer's to still suffer through it.
In regards to the preterists, I would say that they are on very shaky ground and that because of the warning that you mentioned above. For to believe and teach that all end-time events have already taken place and that Jesus has already returned, centering everything around the destruction of the temple, I would consider this taking away from and adding to the what is written in Revelation. Regarding the claim that that Christ has already returned, Paul spoke about this
regarding Hymenaeus and Philetus who were teaching that the resurrection had already taken place, which he called godless chatter, that it would spread like gangrene and that by this teaching they had wandered away from the truth. Therefore, since the resurrection has still not taken place and the preterists and amils are teaching the same thing, then they fall under the same condemnation, that is, unless they recognize their false teachings and repent. The teaching that we are currently living in the millennium is also a big problem. For the only way that they can come to this conclusion is to distort the word of God by allegorizing it.
Regarding the timing of the gathering of the church, the undeniable, scriptural fact remains that it is the church/bride that is following Christ out of heaven, riding on white horses, wearing her fine linen, white and clean as demonstrated in Rev.19:11-21. Of this there is no doubt! And since the church is seen following Christ out of heaven, this would demonstrate that we would have to be in heaven in order to follow Christ out of it. Scripture makes very clear that those on the white horses, wearing fine linen, white and clean who are following Christ out of heaven, are his called, chosen and faithful followers as revealed in Rev.17:14 and that it is the bride/church that is receiving her white linen at the wedding of the Lamb, as revealed in Rev.19:6-8, 14.
