Why are you so bent out of shape, Dark Void of anything worth living for. Just keep on doing your own thing. Take that chance, you 19 year old pencil neck punk.

I'm not like the rest of the laissez faire Christians, you've been persecuting in the past, with your putrid blasphemies.
2 Timothy 4:2

Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

I rebuke and reprove all things dark and void of anything redeemable.
I'm a fire and brimstone haranguing holy roller, and proud of it.
You just keep on keeping on. Dig that hole deeper and deeper. You're going to want to crawl in it and hide on judgment day.
Pencil neck punk? LOL that is too funny xDD

and really i don't know what to say to you anymore, you're not very reasonable.

Those age old fear tactics of "judgment day" don't impress me.

Hey dark...
Glad you have come to cc.. as time goes on , things will become clearer .. Looks
Like you want answers .. That whole " gimme the truth and nothing but the truth ".
I remember those days .. What I found was .. When I went to people , like you're doing now , all sorts of answers were thrown at me.. which answer was right??
i discovered as well, I could take all
My questions , and debates directly to God .. In pure raw format .. I didn't think I could do this ... But found out " he already
Knows every word I'm thinking so I went directly to the man "Himself", bypassed all answers from men .. ". Save yourself some steps... Take all this to Him "yes ,God himself" ... He will answer you.. another good way to see what all god has to say directly about the subject .. Get a strongs concordance .. Read everything on abortion .. I promise you .. God will answer your questions "any of them" directly , 100%, all truth ... Remember , god never changes ... Neither will his answers to you ...the Internet also had a strongs concordance, start researching ..,
There is real truth and real freedom in all answers from God Alone ..

Hey DarkVoid,

Welcome to CC! I am glad you are here.

In my heart, I believe that your conscience has led you here. You are questioning your atheistic beliefs and searching for answers. That is good. I don't have all of the answers. But I do know that the answers to all of life's most important questions, such as why we are here, where did we come from, what is our purpose for life and where are we going when we die, can be found in the bible, which is God's love letters to humanity.

My question to you, what does your world view say about the answers to those questions?

To reiterate:

1. Why are we here?
2. Where did we come from (humans)?
3. What is the purpose of life?
4. What happens to us when we die?

Well, i haven't thought about it very much yet.

but it is a possibility. for example: if gods ultimate goal is to betray our trust (assuming hes a sadist) then he would need something to blame the bad things on. (satan) That way, he appears like the good guy. when really satan does not exist, god just causes bad things to happen and has come up with an excuse.

so god IS satan.

so everything the bible says is a trick. and this whole life is a game. and even if people dont believe god cares about them they will still question it and/or wonder about it and/or discuss it. (just like i am doing here)

so he gets what he wants (entertainment) and of course he likes to occasionally throw the random natural disaster at us but mostly he programmed our own nature to destroy each other (which he calls "sin")

but of course hes not responsible for any of this, its all that "satan" guys fault...

uh-huh, sure...

and don't be fooled by what god "reveals" to you, that's called supernatural influence. does not prove anything.

Now, i don't really have any proof but nobody has proof about god...

PS: I have not taken the time to write things down and study it. so i was kinda rambling...

yes, i would not really trust answers from "god" anyway.

when beings exist that are so much more powerful than us you can't be sure even your thoughts are your own.

I always question everything anyone/thing tells me, and i even question what i tell myself.

I am not 100% sure of anything. but some things i am 99% sure.

First off: i'm not an atheist. i believe in the supernatural. it's the nature of supernatural beings that i'm not sure about. (but i believe most of them to be hostile)

also i don't believe one can kno anything about god to be 100% accurate

1: we are most likely here to merely "entertain" god
2: we were probabaly created by a god
3: the purpose of this life is most likely to confuse us and cause us to talk about and try to figure out all these questions that you just posted
4: well we most likely go to "hell" or nonexistance. because after the game is over god has no further use for us so he would dispose of us, either in a place of eternal torture (sadist) or just erase us like a computer file (practical)

And as for you... you hateful, vile person.

Before you rebuke or condemn someone I suggest you get ahold of the bible and open it up to passages about love, anger, hatred, judging, pride, and arrogance.

We are to LOVE everyone! We are to help the weak in faith. Not condemn them.

I hope you realize God will judge YOU the same measure you judged DarkVoid. You have NO right to tell someone they should have been aborted. You have NO right to insult and condescend him. You have NO right to pass judgement in the way you have.

We are to love our neighbor. You are to be patient, and kind with them.

How dare you speak in such a way. The evil things you have said is not of God. It is not Christian.

I will pray for you that you are able to let go of the evil and malice in your heart. If not, then I pray God shows you mercy

What I meant by "atheist", is that you don't believe in the God of the bible, Who is nothing like the god or gods that you describe. It's not important. You don't have to accept a label.

The bible has answers to all of these questions. The bible is an historical account of God's dealings with man, which has been recorded by witnesses of those dealings. If you apply the same standards to the biblical accounts as you do for other ancient works of history, you would discover that the historicity of the bible far exceeds the reliability of those other accounts. And yet, you would probably not question the secular accounts. Is it possible that you have a philosophical bias?

I don't blame you for questioning such things. I do so myself. But God (God of the bible) has given considerable evidence of His existence and continues to do so. In addition to considerable evidence of His existence, He has promised to reveal Himself to us and to have His Spirit live within us. This adds a personal experience to intellectual evidences.

Your answers are interesting.

1: we are most likely here to merely "entertain" god

Why do think that a God who created everything that you see, including the cosmos that is billions of light years across would need humans to entertain Him?

2: we were probabaly created by a god

OK.

3: the purpose of this life is most likely to confuse us and cause us to talk about and try to figure out all these questions that you just posted

The purpose of life is to try and figure out the purpose of life? You want to think about that a little more?

4: well we most likely go to "hell" or nonexistance. because after the game is over god has no further use for us so he would dispose of us, either in a place of eternal torture (sadist) or just erase us like a computer file (practical

Hell does exist. You are right here. Does that concern you?

Let me ask you something. If someone raped and killed your sister, do you believe that person deserves to be punished for his crime?

your verse 3 in specific, the purpose of wise instruction, or even understanding wisdom is not to be found to you as confusing, in fact my God is not the author of confusion, however on the other side satan is the author of lies, confusion and cunningly deceitful, God's word and wisdom are wise, and sweet as honey, as food for your soul and a well that never runs dry, the words of pure life.
my God will give utterance through the Holy Spirit to speak:

Luk 21:15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.

Oy, even Judas can tell you of the word of the only wise God.

Jud 1:17 But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
Jud 1:18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
Jud 1:19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
Jud 1:20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
Jud 1:21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
Jud 1:22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:
Jud 1:23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
Jud 1:24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
Jud 1:25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

Rev 7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
See, not as much of a sadistic ogre as you portay.

Here's a scenario that I ran across on facebook which I believe sums up the abortion issue nicely:

A worried woman went to her gynecologist and said: 'Doctor, I have a serious problem and desperately need your help! My baby is not even 1 year old and I'm pregnant again. I don't want kids so close together. So the doctor said: 'Ok and what do you want me to do?' She said: 'I want you to end my pregnancy, and I'm counting on your help with this.'

The doctor then thought for a little, and after some silence he said to the lady: 'I think I have a better solution for your problem. It's less dangerous for you too.' She smiled, thinking that the doctor was going to accept her request. Then he continued: 'You see, in order for you not to have to take care 2 babies at the same time, let's kill the one in your arms. This way, you could rest some before the other one is born. If we're going to kill one of them, it doesn't matter which one it is. There would be no risk for your body if you chose the one in your arms. The lady was horrified and said: 'No doctor! How terrible! It's a crime to kill a child! 'I agree', the doctor replied. 'But you seemed to be OK with it, so I thought maybe that was the best solution.' The doctor smiled, realizing that he had made his point.

He then convinced the mom that there is no difference in killing a child that's already been born and one that's still in the womb. The crime is the same!

exactlly point making

How in the world is this even a Christian attitude? Weren't you once lost?

Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law

How could you say such a horrid thing to someone?
Yes I was once lost. But being lost is no excuse to murder babies. These reprobates know this is just wrong, God or no God.
They need to be "rebuked and reproved in season and out". They need to be exposed for what they are; the army of Satan.

This Dark Void is not just lost. Dark Void is completely void of empathy, or moral compass.

Laissez faire Christians, who do not speak out against these atrocities, have more blood on there hands than did the ones who remained silent during the holocaust. Hitler may have killed six or eight million, but abortion factories kill 1.2 million each year, here in America alone.

To every thing, there is a time and a reason. It's time to rebuke and reprove. And 1.2 million murdered babies each year is the reason.

Well i'm glad you clarified on your own personal definition of atheist lol

and of course anything "god inspired" would be more accurate historically but that does not prove the true nature of this god

and no, i am not bias at all, just cuz a book (wether secular or not) tells me something does not mean i will believe it.

1: well i did not say humans were his only source of entertainment. he probably has millions of things going on all at once, we are just one of them.
2: (skip)
3: no. gods purpose for giving us life is most likely to set up an environment for this "game". we need life to participate. that's all. (god always wins)
4: and of course it concerns me. but there is not really anything i can do about it. "god" is in control.

well yea. People should get what they give.
