Just follow God's word and the x is not needed.
I don't think an x is needed as people are expressing the gospel they believe in. No one needs to use an x.

WOW...that is a new one...not enough water for baptism? How weird.

That is worse than the position that one is automatically baptized with mom's amniotic fluid.
Get you head out of the sand.
There are a lot of places in this world that there is little or no water.
Ever try to baptize someone in a hospital?
Tell every one to not waste their time telling people on their death bead about Jesus unless you can get them up and into the water.
Show me Scripture where any of the OT prophets were baptized.

You do not understand God's word.

I suggest you take time and understand what Christs' sacrifice on the cross was for and how that is applied in the repentance process. That may help you providing you accept God's word.
I do understand which is why I expose the error in your interpretations. YOU do not understand Christ's sacrifice or you would not continually tell people to be water immersed. Worse, you know we are baptized but state we do not believe you should be. You know you said that.

You are adept at recognizing major points for clarity. That is correct.

It is a challenge indeed, to achieve getting anti baptism advocates to explain their position.
Maybe any time we can get a brake through.
The many new interpretations of the Bible...since the 1960's ......is amazing but, fits with end time scriptures saying...."in the end times there will great deceptions"....they are here and more on the way, assuredly.
Right there. Anti-baptism advocates. You know and everyone else knows that no one in this thread advocates no baptism

You and others have been shown a wall of reasons why people should be water baptized. Rather than just agreeing you argue and slander, such as how you just did, by calling people like me a liar. It really looks like you are anti.water baptism, but the New Testament refutes you.

If you agree with water baptism just say so. This is very simple to me.
There you go slandering again. I am callin you out my friend.

No one is against water baptism. We are against your baptismal regeneration nonsense. And false gospel of works. As needed for eternal life

If your going to lie about other people. You best just walk away. Because it hurts your case

I do study and have studied and will study and I do not listen to false teachers/prophets.

This is how I know that your teaching is false.

AGAIN, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THOSE HARD OF RETAINING WHAT OTHERS POST AND I GUESS FOR YOU ALSO, NO ONE HAS STATED BAPTISM SHOULD BE IGNORED. HOWEVER, WATER DOES NOT WASH AWAY SIN. ONLY THE BLOOD OF CHRIST SHED ON OUR BEHALF CLEANSES US FROM ALL SIN.

Why can't you show scriptures that voids the following;

Baptism is Required

Peter 3: 21.... whereunto even baptism doth also now save us...

John 3:5 .......Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Acts 2;38-....Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 22;16... And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

Galations 3:26...... For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

KJV Marrk 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

KJV Matthew 3:14... But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? 15. Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now, for thus it becometh us to fulfil all rightesousness. Then He suffered Him.

KJV Matthew 28:19..... Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:.

Acts 8:12-18: But when they believed Philip as he preached the things concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, both men and women were baptized.

Acts 19:4 And Paul said, “John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in the one who was to come after him, that is, Jesus.”

John 3; 22 After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized.
23 And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.

Quote from Billy Graham that is note worthy;
....Also, to clarify I did not say remission of sin takes place at repentance. Scripture makes it clear that it occurs upon obedience to water baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus. Each is a step of faith, along with receiving the Holy Ghost, in the process of one's spiritual rebirth

.."Paul explains the doctrinal significance of what occurs when one is baptized. His explanation is found in his letter to those who had already been obedient to the command.

Paul tells the Roman Christians what actually occurred when they were/are baptized; they were baptized into His death. Being buried with Jesus into His death resulted in their sin being destroyed.

Even though Paul explains this concept, the NEW AGE RELIGION TEACHING is......... that water baptism is nothing other than a mere public display.......... And that is so far removed from the truth.

Keep in mind that Satan knows if he can continue to perpetuate that lie ...... he can keep people from entering the kingdom of God. Thus He has proven scripture which says ...in the end times there will be ...great delusions.....they are here.

Conclusion....teaching that baptism is not necessary is violation of Rev. 22;19.... And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. 20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. (Also two other books of the Bible).

I know you can't...but at least try?

My sister in law (god rest her soul) had a medical sting in her head. she was unable to be immersed.. These people would condemn her to hell

She is in heaven today, Because God baptised her with the true baptism that saves

It's worse. He is saying that water cleanses from sin as are a few others in this thread.

So my posts basically focus on the fact that only the blood of Jesus cleanses us from sin. We have an entire system of laws in the OT that require shed blood and that system pointing to the final sacrifice. But it does not matter, does not sink in, is ignored and in fact x'ed; they will continually tell you that if you are not immersed in water you are not saved and at least one, wansvic, believes that you must be baptized only in the name of Jesus and if you have been baptized using in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, then you must be re-baptized in Jesus name only.

My posts containing the large and colored letters, deal with the lie being told that we do not believe in baptism...he x'ed it but if you back some posts, he is saying that...he and the runningman.

They can believe what they want, but the works gospel being offered by them, along with the negating of Jesus alone being able to save, is close to heresy if not actual heresy. They are changing the gospel and offering works to be added to Jesus sacrifice. Maybe you know that, but it is good to remind people of what is really going on.
Some just cannot trust in Jesus. Got to do their part.

Seriously. Are you considering lying for a living? P. 16 here and many posts and you know people have posted scripture that shows your error. I guess you just need attention. :giggle:

In my 76 years, I have meet several people who accepted Jesus as their Savior and for various medical reasons could not be baptized.

A person can do a search here in the forum and find numerous threads started by wansvic always about the same itinerary and of course it is always wansvic and friends

Nothing new in this thread. However it seems the lies are becoming somewhat more aggressive.

N better than the jew and circumcision

interesting that both represent cleansing.
Anything but the blood. That is what has taken us out of the devil's kingdom and placed us in the Heavenly kingdom. It was blood the Israelites had to place on their door posts as the angel of death passed over and their first born males were saved.

I mean the Bible illustrates what is really going on and what has really happed to the point it is SHOUTED at us and some still want to apply water and they would have been missing their first born.

Ah you don’t understand the New Testament. I never said water baptism is necessary for eternal life. Eternal life of the soul comes through faith in Christ alone, but resurrection comes through water baptism. The apostles were clear on that point in Romans 6 and 1 Peter 3. Start studying.

Your continual slander of my character won’t age well.
