Religion blinds the minds of those who read scripture whereby they can only see what their mind has been programmed/ingrained/etched/trained to see and believe.

Without the Spirit of Truth no one can properly discern the Message from Genesis to Revelation.

Truth comes from the FATHER Above = 100% Clear Gospel Message from the Only Begotten Son of God = Yeshua HaMashiach
If you actually think that religion blinds the minds of those who read scripture, you are blind!

Jesus read scripture, including reading it aloud in the synagogue. So according to your false logic, Jesus' was blinding people.

Then you contradict you first sentence with your second sentence!

Jesus said this: "You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me."

Many times the LORD referred to religious blindness from those who daily read and studied the scriptures.

Hebrews does not mention H2O.

How is it that you cannot SEE the Gospel in Revelation???

Clue = Starts in chapter 1
Runningman is correct; you are wrong.

Hebrews 10:22, " let us draw near with a sincere heart in the assurance that faith brings, because we have had our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed in pure water. "Pure water"; get it?

Are you saying that reading the Bible causes "religious blindness"? Seriously?

pure water is not referring to H20

Do you seek to argue??? and therefore ignore that our LORD Jesus Christ spoke of the Spirit and His Word as Life Giving/Cleansing Water from Above?

John the Baptist's water baptism differed from those begun in the NT. The NT water baptism was administered in the name of the Lord Jesus after His death, burial, and resurrection. As my previous post indicated, Jesus told the disciples to go into all nations and baptize in a Name. This command was given just prior to Jesus' ascension. (Matt. 28:19)

The initial message was presented to Jews by Peter, who preached Jesus on the Day of Pentecost, as recorded in Acts 2. It was after the individuals believed what Peter shared about Jesus that they became upset and asked what was required of them. He responded by telling them to be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus for remission of sins. We know the baptism Peter commanded was water baptism as indicated by his presenting the same message to the Gentiles. They were commanded to be baptized in water in the name of the Lord. (Acts 10:47-48) As you may know, Peter began his conversation with the Gentiles by saying that it is through Jesus' name that people who believe in him receive remission of sins. (Acts 10:43)

Also consider that Ananias told Paul to be baptized and wash away his sins calling on the name of the Lord.
You will never convince some one. They want to import their disbelief into scripture because they can understand that God can do with his creation as He chooses. If He uses water to save who are we to argue. If He say this wine is My Blood then so it is. It dont have to make material sense. It is what He says it is.
Anyway Ive done all I can do. Its not my job to convince someone.
Let them reject baptism and let them forbid water to others, and then let them stand before God. As we will all stand before Him and give an answer.

This is what seperates those of the Spirit from those of the earth/religion.

Those of the earth/flesh find their salvation in the elements in/of the things of this earth and rituals and outward observance.

So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, 17which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ. 18Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, 19and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God.

20Therefore, if you died with Christ from the basic principles of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to regulations— 21“Do not touch, do not taste, do not handle,” 22which all concern things which perish with the using—according to the commandments and doctrines of men? 23These things indeed have an appearance of wisdom in self-imposed religion, false humility, and neglect of the body, but are of no value against the indulgence of the flesh.

Those of the Spirit drink from the River of God.

The physical body isn’t washed with any other kind of water besides H2O. It’s obviously a reference to water baptism.

I mean you said water baptism isn’t in Revelation to prove a point. Now I want to prove a point that the Gospel Paul mentioned in 1 Corinthians 15 isn’t in Revelation either.

Your opinion of my "flawed logic" is both wrong and irrelevant.
According to your 'logic' the LORD Jesus Christ is wrong and in error.

My logic agrees and submits to "It is written".

You seek to argue and accuse - why?

Your point has been proven many times over - just not from the Heart and Word of God.

The fact that you cannot see the Gospel in Revelation speaks volumes of your point of view.

The Gospel is indeed spoken in 1 Corinthians chapter 15 and in Revelation.

How is it you cannot see this???

Your opinion only, and as usual, wrong. You deceive yourself when you think that your logic agrees and submits to "It is written". I can and do say the same thing: my logic agrees and submits to "It is written".

Why do you accuse others of "blindness", thereby implying that you see the truth? Your continual criticism of others speaks volumes about your point of view. How is it you cannot see this???

But you have not done so. Only accusing and arguing against scripture.

Now hit the reset button on your heart and go back to the Word who said:

"You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me."

I am not accusing and arguing against scripture. That is your delusion.

You are spiritually ill. You need to hit the reset button on your heart and go back to the Word. Perhaps Jesus will help you, but only if you let Him. (I have my doubts that you will!)

Water baptism in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ is an important part of our faith in Christ.

However, the Word of God has made it abundantly clear that physical water (H2O) - cannot absolve/cleanse a man of his sins.

Only the Precious Blood of Messiah can remove the stain of sin from a man.

"For where there is a testament, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is in force after men are dead, since it has no power at all while the testator lives. Therefore not even the first covenant was dedicated without blood. For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and goats, with water, scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people, saying, “This is the blood of the covenant which God has commanded you.” Then likewise he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry. And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission."
Hebrews ch9

"And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear; knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God."
1 Peter ch1
I was leaving this discussion when the spirit led me to see your post and then search, ''holy water spirit'', to find scripture that proves when we are baptized by water and the spirit it is holy spirit, not liquid water.

It is water spirit'' that saves because we are saved by the grace of God.

Grace doesn't save, God's pouring out his grace saves.
God is holy spirit, the water of life. Just as Jesus said of himself.

The argumentative spirit is the enemy. He has been an enemy of man from the beginning.

If he can lead people to think baptism, not God's bestowal of grace through faith alone saves, he leads those who believe that to believe in him.

And to the enemy that makes for one less person to hold faith alone in God.

He's a liar. Never to be trusted. And he's determined. Because he knows his destiny.Thats why he's all so angry.

Here you go.😊💕✝️

John 7:37-39
Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’” But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

Isaiah 44:3
‘For I will pour out water on the thirsty land
And streams on the dry ground;
I will pour out My Spirit on your offspring
And My blessing on your descendants;
John 4:14 but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”

1 Corinthians 12:13
For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.

For the Record:
#1 - i always agree with Scripture and do not confess/profess to know all things
#2 - i have always agreed with water baptism according to "It is written" and i practice/obey the command to water baptize.
#3 - H2O cannot wash away the sins of the world nor of any man woman or child
#4 - Emphasizing H2O as equal to or necessary for Salvation is contrary to the Gospel of our LORD Jesus Christ.
#5 - Water baptism is a beautiful outward/public testimony of dying to sin and rising up in the Life of Christ.
#6 - i have and continue to water baptize those whom the Father calls unto His Son
#7 - REST is only found in the Son of God who died on the Cross, shedding His Sinless Blood for the Sins of the world and then Rising on the third day because death could not hold Him since He committed no sin.
#8 PEACE of our LORD Jesus Christ to all who lay hold of this Gospel

Funny thing here - you never brought forth scripture to support you accusations.

Well, now you have me laughing - which is good to laugh and rejoice in the Lord Jesus Christ's Victory for us over sin.

When the Lord brought back the captivity of Zion,
We were like those who dream.
2Then our mouth was filled with laughter,
And our tongue with singing.
Then they said among the nations,
“The Lord has done great things for them.”
3The Lord has done great things for us,
And we are glad.
