The biblical Israelites were black people and still are today, the bible clearly states Christ was a very dark skin man. If gods son and his people are black then obviously he is too. check out this verse.

Daniel 7:9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool
: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.
How does Jesus having hair like pure wool prove that he was/is black? I don't get your logic, because there is none.

first of Christ is not god, Christ has a father the god of Israel he answers to. And second my last statement was speaking of God the father.

The bible says Christ and the disciples are black.

Revelation 1:14 His head and his hairs were white like WOOL, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;[SUP]15[/SUP] And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they BURNED in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

Daniel 10:5 Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz:[SUP]6[/SUP] His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.

Do you believe Isaiah is a prophet of Yahweh? If you do, you are calling him a liar. He was given the words foretelling the child born unto us would be called the Almighty God, Everlasting Father, Ruler of Peace, and the Comforter. It would be a lie to say this is not saying He would be the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, for they are one, Elohim if you prefer.

Isa 9:6
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Isa 9:7

Of the increase of his government and of peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of Jehovah of hosts will perform this.

Okay I agree with that, But if Christ is God the father then who does he always pray to and why is he always saying my father who is in heaven? is it a contradiction? NOPE. Christ is the son not the father, let me show you how.

John 10:34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?[SUP]35[/SUP] If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
[SUP]36[/SUP] Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

Now, Christ was going around saying he was god, then the jews got mad at him for saying that. Then he had to remind them that the scriptures say that they are gods. So all of Israel are gods and the word ISRAEL itself means princes of god.
Christ is not the father but the son like all of Israel are, so in this case it would not be a contradiction when Christ prays and always says my father who is in heaven.

Yahuadah: Just a note to you. You do know that you and I are identical, even in appearance? Perhaps not today but when we are perfected we will be. We are all to be transformed into the likeness of our Savior. There will be no question in the Kingdom as to who is what for we will be just like Jesus, so you and I are headed to that.

Oh what a glorious and joyful day. We will be praising our Savior forevermore, amen..

I believe I understand this, but for now I think it best I not put my own words.

All I know is, we are in this age, separated from our Father, Yahweh, but when we are back with Him, all we need do is talk to Him. As for the why and what and how of the persons of God, this mystery too will be revealed in His time.

It is not for us to seize upon the answer, not that we could. It is written, "God is One." Jesus, Yeshua, pronounced this saying hear o Isreal God is One. Yet, He comes into each of us in His Holy Spirit, and He is the Son.

I suppose part of the explanation is He really is everywhere. I do know that our all being made to be just like Jesus should take our minds off the present age, and put us, mind, heart, and soul with Him. Sometimes it seems we are already there, but that is hope and faith working in love.

Thank you Yahuadah..........you are a blessing.

What scripture is that?

Php 3:20
For our citizenship is in heaven; whence also we wait for a Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

Php 3:21
who shall fashion anew the body of our humiliation, that it may be conformed to the body of his glory, according to the working whereby he is able even to subject all things unto himself.

This is not the quote I was having in mind, but this one does approach it. I will look and bring it later if you are still here. Meanwhile if anyone else is familiar with the teaching, please show it to Yahuadah. For now I must be away, Thanks..

I am very sorry to have had to be away a while. Here are two more scriptures relating to what you have mentioned also.

Please excuse me for my very bad habit of not memorizing numbers of chapters and verses. I do remember the content much of the time, at least that to which I make reference. It would be weird were I to make reference to things I do not remember.

I did not find the specific passage I had in mind, but it says we will be just like Him, we will not be He, it is enough to be like Him....................

Yahweh bless you, Yahuadah. I pray this has been helfpful...

1Jn 3:2
Beloved, now are we children of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we shall be. We know that, if he shall be manifested, we shall be like him; for we shall see him even as he is.

1Jn 3:3
And every one that hath this hope set on him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

1Jn 3:4
Every one that doeth sin doeth also lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness.

2Co 3:18
But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord the Spirit.

Meh, I figure this is about as offensive as I can think up. (In keeping with the theme of the board).

Is God (Jesus) a White man?
IF you are referring to the colour of Jesus's skin, he was therefore not Black, he was therefore not white. He was however, olive colour, obvious living were Jesus lived and walked, his skin would of darkened by the sun. Also there is nothing in the bible about the physical structure of Jesus. Like for example, his height, his Body shape, his looks even. People who came face to face in those times will recall the physical properties of Jesus.

All we know it says clearly in the bible that we were made in the image of God. Human! May I ask why you want to know his skin colour? It would be of more importance of your focus and your journey with Jesus, rather than his physical looks? Does it matter what colour he was? really?

Yahuadah, you are quoting from scripture of Jesus physical form that is to come when he comes back, not what he looked like in the past as the OP was referring to. Yes Jesus will come back as that form. but your back up scripture is not of what he looked like in the past. Again which the OP was referring to.

Look at where Egypt is to Israel.

Israel-Nbrs-Map.jpg

If the Cushites were dark which are Egyptians, and you say the people in Israel are typically olive. Do you know that the people of antiquity was very dark? If Israel is right next to Egypt then how do you think the Israelites of old and Jesus looked? The people you see now are HEAVILY mixed with Romans and Ottoman Turks, they do not look the same of old. The Egyptians of old raneged from very dark to light brown.

^ Egyptians. They are today called Afar, Tutsi, Oromo.

Hence what I said Jesus skin would be of olive colour, and like I said also were he walked and lived, he would of got darker skin. But that's if you read the whole post of what I written.

So basically he was a "so call" black person? i say so call, because they are not actually black, but shades of brown. It would have been better to just say he was black then. You wouldn't go around calling black people, olive people right? So just say the Lord was black. That is why I was assuming you was suggesting otherwise.

I didn't see Jesus. Don't know what color he is. Don't care, either.

God is a Spirit, not flesh. He does not have flesh like you and me, and when we are transformed, we will not be in this flesh either. You are right in one thing, this is a really silly question. God made man in his "image", not in his skin or flesh.
