No! Your a poser who thinks they know everything but can't tie your shoes. So you come here try to show your "intelligence" and end up showing your real tag name should be "flaming idiot".
I come here to help you, because I love you and when it is all said and done, we will be victorious together! Words such as "dumb" and "idiot" will no longer spew from our mouths, but "brother!" And "I love you!" with hugs and tears of joy! THIS is my hope, and I let NO MAN take that away from me!

Help me? Huh? OK let's ask you a couple questions.....is the Bible "God breathed" the Word of God? Do you feel the God of Islam the same God of the Bible? Answer those two directly no run around answers.

I am sorry. I only see ONE God. Yes, the bible is inspired by God, but who wrote it? Men! Who made men? God, in His own image!

Who wrote the Qu'ran? Men! Who made those men? God, who made THEM in His image!

How does a man move, breath, and carries on the function of life? By the Spirit of God! Without it, men are the lifeless corpses you see in the cemetery.

So is their book inspired as well? YES! All power comes from God as well as any harvests increase! There are so many Muslims today because God blessed and gave them an increase!

No only the Bible says it's "God breathed". Only the Bible is the Word of God.

The Muslims are not prosperous because "God ordained" the religion. Satan uses all kinds of lies to draw people away from God and truth. Satan is the "father of lies". Anything that draws people away from the worship of the only true God is a lie.

Think about this. When are the earliest writings of the Bible? When are the earliest writings of the koran? Why would God give us the koran if He already gave us the Bible? The koran is of Satan to draw people away from the true Word of God.

Yes both were "writen" by men but only the Bible is men writing by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

Flaming I think some are getting frustrated discussing with you. You misunderstand the fundamentals of Christianity. If you dont understand and believe that the Bible is the ONLY inspired book and Word of God then somewhere you have been taught wrong doctrine. If you think there is no difference between God and allah then you have been taught wrong doctrine.I suggest that you find a good Bible teaching church and a good strong Christian friend who knows the Word and can help you understand doctrine better. And and dont say that to be nasty but to help you in your walk.

Was their book written by holy men inspired by the Holy spirit? They are the offspring of Ishmael.
Genesis16_
11The angel of the LORD said to her further, "Behold, you are with child, And you will bear a son; And you shall call his name Ishmael, Because the LORD has given heed to your affliction. 12"He will be a wild donkey of a man, His hand will be against everyone, And everyone's hand will be against him; And he will live to the east of all his brothers."

They reject Jesus, except for the one's he is revealing himself to(praise God),imagine the persecution they go through.
But who is their redeemer if they reject Jesus, same as everyone who rejects him. The lord Jesus is the only way

Galations4-Hagar and Sarah
29But as at that time he who was born according to the flesh persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, so it is now also. 30But what does the Scripture say? "CAST OUT THE BONDWOMAN AND HER SON, FOR THE SON OF THE BONDWOMAN SHALL NOT BE AN HEIR WITH THE SON OF THE FREE WOMAN." 31So then, brethren, we are not children of a bondwoman, but of the free woman.

I just don't understand you all! This is not hard. We believe in the bible in the same manner they believe in the Qu'ran. By faith! Again no one got a personal note from God. It's all belief!

You all believe that the bible is whole and complete even though it mentions more than a few books that didn't make the cut! Why? Because of Constantine, who was inspired by God as well, right?

interesting argument. You are referring to Genesis 16:1-15 and Genesis 25:12-18.

God the Father --> "I will make your descendants numerous to the point where they will be too many to count."

Descendants of Ishmael: A dozen sons. | During the times of the old testament, God commonly rewarded his people by granting them earthly blessings, such as wealth and children. Israelite woman believed that bearing children was the highest honor to the extent where they grieve if they were to die childless.

7 and 12 were the magic numbers.

Since Ishmael is the patriarch of the Arabs, then the Muslims have a certain place of honor within scripture.

Admittedly, if Abraham had followed God's plan to the letter, then Ishmael would not have been born, but every human being is loved by God anyway.

You need faith to get saved and that faith came from God not us. Speaking of Faith most Christians dont walk in any faith what so ever.
Most? Most? How do you know? Can you read other people's minds? Are you God?

Who told you that Constantine was inspired?

Do you have scripture to prove it?

I suppose you think that Mohammed was inspired as well?

They were both frauds and if inspired it was by the devil

That's the point. A book that was "inspired" by men moved with the Holy Spirit was put together by a man who was not inspired? But it's the infallible word or the Most High? Confusion! It cannot be both!

Constantine was not said to be inspired because he simply didn't have spiritual relevance during that period in time. Your reasoning is faulty because it ignore the historical aspects of scripture. Constantine's story isn't recorded in the bible, but he nevertheless contributed to the development of Christendom.

meddled with it? He put in place the template Christianity uses today from it's church programs to the 66 books we call the canon of scripture. If I quote from the book of Thomas, it will be dismissed as nonsense! Why? Because Constantine didn't put it in the bible. He didn't just meddle. He IS Christianity today!

If you believe the Bible is not the infallible, inspired Word of God written under the guidance of the Holy Spirit then you do not believe the Christian faith. How can you? If the Bible is right here and wrong there, how can you trust it to be reliable? You cant. If its just a book written by men then its no different than any other of the million books out there. There is no truth it it.Compare the Word of God to the Muslims Quran. If you do not see the difference there is a major, major problem in you beliefs.

I'm sure you can find more than one book that has truth in it. I didn't say it wasn't a difference, it's catered to a totally different culture.

What I'm saying is that I can love them and do into them like I love and treat myself. No book needed for that. I don't need instructions either.

I read an interesting article on what I was speaking about. Here are some things to think about when talking about the Bible being the only inspired Word, written by men but directed by the Holy Spirit...

1)
The Bible is theocentric (God-centered), not anthropocentric (man-centered). If man wrote the Bible, he would be the leading character. In the Bible God is sovereign and absolute authority (I Chronicles 29:11; Isaiah 43:7). Man’s highest good is submission to His will. The purpose of all we do is for His glory (Revelation 4:11). All other ‘holy’ books focus on man and build up man, not God.

2)
If man wrote the Bible, would he say that the world was created from nothing (Hebrews 11:3)? Nothing is a state man has never known. He would come up with some rational explanation, as evolution tries to do today.

3) If man wrote the Bible would he say his basic nature is evil and sinful (Romans 3:23)? Would man say there was nothing he could do but accept God’s cure for sin (Ephesians 2:8-9). Every religion man has developed or ‘holy’ book man has written has something man must do to earn/deserve removal of sin, but not the Bible.

4) The extent of revelation in the Bible shows it is beyond what man could or would write. How could man write of things beyond his own senses and experiences? Yet the Bible speaks authoritatively about heaven, hell and eternity without hesitation

5)
f man wrote the Bible, its ethics would be based on individual, relative decisions (Judges 17:6) rather than absolutes. Because man is a child of wrath (Ephesians 2:3) by nature his ethics would be corrupt (as they are today apart from the Bible) and would end in chaos. One example: the Bible tells us to use things (I Corinthians 7:31) and love people (Romans 12:10). Man’s ethics are the opposite.

6) It is humanly impossible for 44 authors over a period of 1500 years unknown to each other and from vastly different backgrounds and cultures to arrive at 66 books so internally systematic and consistent as the Bible. It would be like 44 men each tossing a stone on a pile over 1500 years and the finished product being a modern hospital. There must have been one Author behind it all.

7) The fantastic number of fulfilled prophecies in the Bible show that it is no book authored by mere man.

8) he exceptional literary value of the Bible cannot be attributed to the natural ability of human writers. How could such unlearned men write such a surpassing piece of literary genius beyond their own ability? The Bible far exceeds the intellectual and moral qualifications of other books being written in its time such as the Talmud (Jewish), Apocrypha (Christian) and Koran (Islamic). The living quality of the words, reaching to all ages and social positions of people for century after century show its uniqueness. The Bible is deep enough for the most gifted scholar to spend a lifetime in one small part of it and never get out all there is, but also simple enough for a young child to read and understand.

9) If man wrote the Bible would he say to further spiritual ends by love & reliance on divine power or by political force? The Inquisition and Crusades in Christianity as well as the history of Islam, Shintoism, Nazism, etc., all show man used political force to spread their beliefs. The Bible commands to do it in a way that is not natural for man, the opposite way.

10) The number and accuracy of the ancient manuscripts of the Bible that have come down to us today show God’s work in giving and keeping the Bible for us. Of Caesar’s “Gallic Wars” we have only 9 manuscripts, the oldest 900 years after the original. Of the “History of Thucydides” and “History of Herodotus” we have only 8 manuscripts each, from 1300 years after they happened. Yet of the Old Testament we have 1,700 manuscripts, the oldest 100 years after the original. The variation percentage between them is one minor difference every 2,000 words! Evidence for the New Testament is even greater: 13,000 manuscripts with the oldest portion 10 years after the original and the variation percentage being only one minor difference every 200,000 words!

11)The study of archaeology continues to prove there are no historical inaccuracies in the Bible. William F. Albright, one of the greatest archaeologists ever, said, “The Bible’s incredible historical memory has been many times validated by the process of discovery. No archaeological discovery has contradicted a Biblical reference.”

12) The life and resurrection of Jesus also give validity to the Bible. If everything about Him, His deity and His resurrection is true, then the Bible is true. If it is not true the Bible cannot be from God.

This is how we know Flaming Spirit that the Bible is the uniquely inspired Word of God.The Quran doesn't measure up to these standards.Nor does any "holy" book.Sorry for the long post friends but this needed to be answered in some detail.
