That is another problem with insisting that the GC is for the church today. They link that to this verse Matt 24:14

14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Some churches use this verse to teach their people that, if they do not attempt to fulfill the GC, then Jesus will not come back. That again shows the importance of distinguishing between the Gospel of the Kingdom and the Gospel of Grace.

For us, the rapture has no pre-requisite, Jesus can come back anytime to call his church. Once the church is raptured, then the 144,000 Jewish evangelists will once again preach the gospel of the kingdom, and Jesus's 2nd coming to Earth will be for the Jews. That is what Matt 24:14 is referring to.

For us now in the church, our message that we bring to the world, is not the GC, but rather the Ministry of Reconciliation explained by Paul in 2 Corinthians 5:11-21
the " Great Commission" is solely about reach all with the Gospel Message Jesus died and rose again and our need for faith in Christ to receive eternal life.
" I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for it is the Power of God unto salvation". Jesus said in Acts Chapter one it is not for us to worry about the Setting up of His Kingdom but we are to get empowered and be a witness. Prior to the Ascension of Christ HE said GO and preach HE never said to stop.

I have already established previously that the Gospel message that the 12 understood, was not the death burial and resurrection of Christ. You should be clear about that first.

Here, you are quoting scripture that was directed to the Jews. Jesus said that, not to us Gentile Church, but to the 11 disciples.

When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

They obviously remembered what Jesus promised them before the crucifixion in Matthew 19 (NASB)

25 When the disciples heard this, they were very astonished and said, “Then who can be saved?” 26 And looking at them Jesus said to them, “With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” 27 Then Peter said to Him, “Behold, we have left everything and followed You; what then will there be for us?” 28 And Jesus said to them, “Truly I say to you, that you who have followed Me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man will sit on [k]His glorious throne, you also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

You probably don't see the book of Acts as a book that has one major theme, "The Jews as a nation have rejected Jesus Christ".

Thus I can see that you believe that the Gospel of the Kingdom is for both Jews and Gentiles to still preach to the world now, during the Age of Grace. Given this belief, you won't be able to understand what I am trying to say here. That is okay, we can agree to disagree.

the Book of Acts had a mandate from Christ that we read in Acts chapter and it was not only to the Jews. and the Proof of that is the Gospel to the gentiles. I see a very big contrast with your understanding

Yes, to you, the Gospel of Grace has the same underlying message as the Gospel of the Kingdom. For those who believe that, nothing the Scripture says will change their minds. That is okay.

The word "Gospel" just means Good news.

When you preach the Gospel of the Kingdom, it was indeed very good news to the Jews. Their promised King is here.

This Gospel that was being preached in Matt-John was definitely NOT the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. That is the Gospel of Grace for us now (1 Cor 15:1-4).

Its strange that you continue to insist they are the same "good news", when the list of verses from the 4 Gospels clearly indicated otherwise. But then again, no one can make you see something you don't want to see.
You saying Jesus did not preach death ,burial, and resurrection???

BTW,If there are 2 gospels, there are 2 ways to salvation.
One = grace through the gift of the Son Of God
Another= something else.

So you are saying there is a different gospel that Jesus preached.

YOU HAVE JESUS PREACHING A DIFFERENT GOSPEL THAN PAUL.!!!

"If any man preach a different gospel other than that which you heard from us,let him be accursed"

So now we have Jesus as cursed.

I mean, you now have Jesus as confused and instructing Paul into a new thing apart from the gospels.

What in the world is going on here???

How did man get this far off???

If you have read the 4 Gospels, he only revealed this privately to his disciples, who could not understand it.

Ok,so they tell us "Jesus ONLY preached the gospel of the kingdom.
Ok,so he did.

Now,those same people tell us "oh no,that is bad, that gospel of kingdom stuff is anti paul. Paul preached the new and improved gospel of grace"

Uh,HELLO, in the last part of acts it says paul preached the gospel of the kingdom.

If you disagree, quote me Scripture that states he preached his DBR to the masses.
Thats like saying the guy healed by the pool of bethsaida was the only one that heard Jesus talking to him....just because Jesus addressed him only.

Feldick has a million good points in the gospel of grace and paul.

Error enters where we now need the gospel of the kingdom to be some bogey man.

If it is,then paul is messed up like Jesus, because paul preached the gospel of the kingdom in acts

^ Do you mean "kingdom of God" (Acts 28:31)?

"For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit." Romans 14:17

["the kingdom OF THE heavenS" pertains to the promised and prophesied earthly Millennial Kingdom; "the kingdom of God" encompasses a wider]

The mystery is,why do we need the non pauline books to be subserviant to the pauline letters???
Think about it.

Now,what a coincidence that the main guru of the paul only doctrine is miles stamford... A CESSATIONIST and mocker of charismatics.

The Paul only adherants say Jesus preached the gospel of the kingdom, while Paul preached the gospel of grace.
They say the gospel of the kingdom is bad.

Acts 28;31, under their logic has paul in error

Thanks for the well wishes. I asked these questions because I find that quite a number of churches seem to be "overly obsessed with the GC". It seems to them that if you don't "make disciples", you are not a true follower of Jesus. They basically guilt trip all of us into the GC, without really much serious questioning.

When I question further, especially about "which GC to follow", they only think of the Matthew one, and did not consider how certain other versions have instructions that they would clearly reject.

My view of the GC is that its only meant for the 11 to preach to the Jews. For our Gentile church, we are more under the ministry of reconciliation that the Apostle Paul instructs us in 2 Corinthians 5:11-21.
It would seem you might be speaking from a Catholic background and venerating the flesh of Apostles. If it meant for the Jew its meant for any flesh .2 Corinthians 5:16. It informs us we do not know Christ after the things seen even Jesus. If it includes Jesus then surely it include the apostles. The one time demonstration is over. God is not a man as us. We know God after his unseen Spirit.

Correct.

And it will include the "very-soon-to-arrive" message (i.e. that His "return" [to the earth] IS NEAR), which will be the "INVITATION" to "the wedding FEAST/SUPPER" [their promised and prophesied earthly MK], and for some reason also includes this:

"Truly I say to you, wherever this gospel shall be proclaimed in the whole world, that which this woman did also will be spoken of, for a memorial of her." Matthew 26:13 [along with Matthew 24:14]

I believe the "results" of this message are seen in Rev7 ("a great multitude... of all the nations"..." coming out of THE great tribulation" [that is, the 2nd half]) and Matt25:31-34 (the "Sheep" of the nations), and Matt22:8-14 (the "guests [plural]"), and Rev19:9 (also "the guests [plural]," distinct from that of v.7 which is by contrast re: "the Bride/Wife [singular]"/"the MARRIAGE" itself [IN Heaven, and aorist]; He will be RETURNING as an "ALREADY-WED Bridegroom," and this is when [thereafter] the "wedding parables" take up the next scene in the chronology [on the earth, upon His "RETURN"])
