Yep, it’s plain to see that Abraham believed in the d,b,r of Jesus Christ for our sins just like we must do to be saved.🤦‍♂️

Why can’t people see that no one before the cross was looking forward to the cross?

We must do no such thing before salvation......only being saved for me,quote “me” after salvation, could I believe that.

How could I believe that in my own human understanding?...before I was saved?

I had no faith,God hadn’t drawn me to Him/Salvation.

So what you say is an untruth.....we do nothing in order to be saved.God does it all.

God brings us to faith....we don’t bring ourselves.

Do you think not inherit the kingdom of God mean go to heaven?
Not lose salvation mean go to heaven isn't it?

Only a Born again will see the Kingdom of God.

I also believe God keeps us saved.

Covenant Theology is a very popular framework used by many Christians when they interpret the bible.

Ah I see so no explanation is given. You didnt explain the verses at all just dodged it. I wish everyone notices you avoiding this question like the plague, as you know there is no alternative explanation that is credible.

Tell us what the verse means, one last time im asking.

If you do these things, you will not inherit the kingdom, be not deceived. Not much room for interpretation. Anyone else from the OSAS camp feel free to chime in as well.

You must hear the gospel of your salvation. Then, you must trust and believe the gospel of your salvation.

Faith come by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Your post above is what you , “you” said........

Then you quoted scripture.

Make sure in future you quote scripture and not......”your own words”.

The timetable was already set in the OT. Israel is to be saved first, before they can be a blessing to other nations.

Jesus reinforced the timetable to them in Matthew 10:5, and did not change those instructions for them after he resurrected.
No, in mat 28 Jesus say to 11 disciple include peternto preach the gospel to all nations
So Jesus already told this what you so call, mystery to Peter before He went to heaven

Matt 28
18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Acts 2:5 gives you the answer

It’s because you won’t change your mind anyway.

Kingdom of God is not equivalent to salvation here

Acts 2:5 gives you the answer
5 Now there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men from every nation under heaven.

What you going to say with this verse?

Jesus command 11 disciple to preach the gospel before this verse was wrote?

Jerusalem Jews, devout men from every nation under heaven.

You have a clearer idea what Matt 28 really meant by "preaching to all nations"?

Acts 2:5 said that, not me
Jesus say preach the gospel to all nations

Jesus not say preach the gospel to only Jews, you say that.
Act 2:5 is story where apostle preach to Jews all nation, not say Jesus ask them only preach to Jews

All nations is regadless Jews or not.

American, African England, regardless Jews or not are include all nations

But once you consider 3 facts

that Jesus did tell them about Matthew 10:5, and at no point of time, did he ever tell them after he resurrected, "Oh by the way, that command I gave in Matthew 10:5 no longer applies"

Jesus in Matt 28, which is your favorite version of the GC, also command them to teach all nations to obey everything he commanded, which also include the Law of Moses.

Peter, in Acts 10, was very resistant to going to the gentiles.

You combine all these 3 facts, together with Acts 2:5, it tells you that you are misinterpreting what was meant by "go to all nations" in Matt 28

So you believe on matt 28 Jesus ask 11 disciple to teach all nation, Jew or non Jew all His command include law of Moses, example animal sacrifice?

Why don't Peter teach all the nation include Jews to keep doing animal sacrifice?

And you believe before nation of Israel accept Jesus, apostles are forbidden to preach to gentile why god ask Peter preach to Cornelius?

If peter was only preaching to Israel before acts 10, it’s redundant for him to tell them “oh by the way remember to keep the law”

The resurrected Christ never told the 11 that the. Law of Moses was nailed to the cross
