I don't serve anyone. I work and provide for my family... If that's what your getting at.
What for? For what hope?

As a father, you want the best for your family right? Then what? You get old and pass, following your wife and kids, grandkids, and so forth. Into what? A hopeless end?

Why even live if there is no joy after this life? Or even in this life?

A lot of questions, a lot of thinking can make one commit suicide...because they don't have hope...It's sad intothevoid.

Will you even be remembered by your grandchildrens children?

What?

Your making out that I'm living a sad, miserable, joyless, pointless life.

I have an amazing life and I have an amazing family. I don't waste time thinking about a non existent afterlife.. I'm focusing on the life I have now and enjoying every minute of it.

I didn't say that intothevoid. But you know for a fact it's not everything you truly want. You may reject God, but in the end you look for more happiness in your living. Maybe you try to find it in your children, your job, your wife.

If you truly believe you are content, are you really? Are you on this comfortable life that you've always wanted?

I am not going to say you live miserably and uncontent, but I won't say the opposite either...

It's not all perfect I'll give you that lol. But on the whole I'm a very happy and a very lucky man.

There's nothing missing from my life. I have a loving family, a rewarding job, a successful sideline as a musician, a nice home, financial security and four nuisance cats.

Sure my life isn't for everyone, and other people may have different ideals and goals... But I'm content with how things are :)

I have a question, no one has given me a satisfactory answer yet and I've asked it many times.

If the snake that spoke to Eve was actual satan or a demon or whatever, then why did god punish the snake and every other snake to follow?

I am sorry I do not understand your question. God punished the snake for causing man to fall into disobedience, but before that he was already condemned. I don't see anywhere in the bible that other snakes followed?

It's not the animals fault though is it. If satan took the form of a snake to talk to Eve about eating from the tree... Then it's really not fair on the snakes!

Plus if you consider the fact that God lied to Adam and Eve, and said they would Die if they ate from the tree... And all the snake did was tell them the truth that they wouldn't die (Which they didn't) then it opens up even more issues with gods motives.

Animals were culpable once being used as instruments of sin.

As we speak we are slowly dying, from that day on. There is three types of death mentioned in the bible: physical death, separation of body and spirit. Spiritual death, separation of man and God. Eternal death, the final place of the lost soul in the lake of fire also called the second death; eternal separation of man and God.

I just think its interesting to note that the first recorded death in the Bible is when an animal was killed to clothe Adam and Eve.

Some say that when God killed the animal for cloths it's blood was used for the atonement of Adam and Eve. I don't necessarily know if I should believe that, what do you think?

I think it gives us a foreshadowing that it was always God's intention to redeem mankind through the sacrifice of an innocent (Jesus).

the Father took the death of an animal to clothe Adam and Eve's nakedness and then He took the death of His only begotten Son to clothe man in His own righteousness. Wow. It really is amazing to me. Hallejujah!

Another question...

Where in the bible does it mention God ordering a bible to be compiled and what selection method should be used when determining what books would be included or excluded?
