I believe watching porn is a sin, but no sin is greater than the other, they can all be forgiven, other than the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Ghost. In the name of Jesus Christ ask to be forgiven of sins and repent, go in other direction. God is just and faithful to forgive us of our sins.

Why don't you say having sex (even with your wife) is a sin because you are feeding your flesh. Eating is sin because you are feeding your flesh. And so on...
And again I'm not trying to justify sin. I just want to find a text in the bible that says, Thinking, imagining, dreaming, or having sexual thoughts is a sin. Can anyone give me words from the Bible that causes you to think that having sexual thoughts is a sin?

And also, Why do people have kids in this sinful world?

Watching porno is lusting and lusting or coveting is a sin which lure you away from God. It make you focus more on the flesh, and which you'll lose contact of the spirit. What give us real pleasure is the spirit, but not the flesh. Pleasing the flesh is keeping you trapped and or enslaved to worldly things by having you addictive to them because they are only temporary which causes you to seek more of it; but pleasing the spiritual soul last for ever.

Porn and masturbating is known as lust. If it gives you a sexual desire and you act on it then it is a sin. however having sexual desires is a part of the human flesh, but going to porn is a bit to far. I am not one to talk because I have seen porn( although it seems really weird to me) but like any other sin it is something we can overcome and ask for forgiveness. people need to stop condemning themselves about these things and just work with god to beat it.

Because it is NOT just the watching....it is where it comes from, how it is made.

Think of how this was filmed...produced...paid for.
It is not good in any way....it is simply not LIGHT.

If you were a Christian you would not have the thoughts in your head that would lead you to ask. It would be beside the point. Your question shows your absolute ignorance of what sex is, how it was created, what it is for, or anything about it except the mechanism of it. Also, your inability to experience it.

God created us, created the world, made it to operate in a certain way. Sex is one of the major things God created and blessed us with. Lots of things revolve around it. Pornography has absolutely no part in sex, it is a non issue.

If you go back to Genesis, it will explain just what sex is. Go to the book Song of Solomon and it gives a lot of the spiritual and physical of sex. Each month a woman has her seed die and creates a new one. God is involved in sex. It represents all the love and caring that marriage is, and the possibility of creating new life.

The thing you are seeing in pornography is taking something holy and dragging it in the dirt. Satan loves it, Satan usually uses God's words when He temps us. He is taking something of God to make it hateful, it is one of Satan's crowning achievements.

That's true, it is not as bad, as having actual sex for example. But I think God is concerned with our motives, our desires, why we spend time killing people on a screen? Why we spend time having virtual sex? What is it replacing? To know that God loves us deeply? Someone to talk to? A good job? A happy relationship? A sense of being wanted and valued?
Justifying something as "not as bad" is not the way to go that leads straight into legalism and becoming a "Pharisee". To God there isn't lesser sin or greater sin (with exception of Denouncing the Holy Spirit which I do not want to get into) whether I lie or I cheat or I steal or I kill its all sin in God's eyes not little sin normal sized sin or BIG SIN its all sin in God's eyes. Although sin is the same in God's eyes the consequences of said sins are NOT THE SAME. i.e I lie to my brother about taking his car on a joyride I kill my brother for taking my car on a joyride...both of those would be sins yet the first would just mean an angry brother while the second would mean prison time. All sins are created equal however NOT ALL CONSEQUENCES OF SIN ARE EQUAL!

Your argument that masturbation and lusting for another is not a sin because it keeps you from having actual sex is preposterous to say the least. So if I do "anything but have sex" am I still considered "pure"? Of course not...thats legalism and Phariseeism (if that's a word). Jesus said woe to you Pharisees you hypocrites they would swear on the temple and then not keep a promise that they swore they would, and would Justify it by suggesting well I didn't swear on the GOLD OF THE TEMPLE...simply put sin is sin is sin no lesser or greater sin in God's eyes and lusting and masturbating is putting your own desires of the flesh above the Lord's therefore a sin.

I am a christian and I have these urges, as long as we are in the flesh we will have these urges.

read proverbs 1,16 17 18.porn is covetous by nature.its a trap set to catch anybody off guard.be ready because our adversary satan is here to catch anyone off guard.when I was a child I found my dads porn magazines an questioned then what good can marriage be if a woman is more like a pet and there is no need for love if I have sex.vain imaginations of a lustful boy and foolishness.so beware of your adversary the devil.by the way the devil is the god of this world.so porn is never helpful and can only bring destruction to our Christian faith and leave us wanting and miserable.there is good pleasure and bad pleasure.
