You say for weak believers. What did Jesus make a point about when it comes to the Sabbath ? He was accused by the Pharisees for doing things on the Sabbath ( mainly healing ). He made a point to say as long as you are doing things that are either for God, or doing good works it is not wrong to do things on the Sabbath.

Plus He sent Paul to teach the gentiles the gospel, and what He told to Paul was that we are not bound by the same traditions as the Jews keep to. Paul even got onto Peter for trying to force traditions on new believers that no longer apply. Rather you esteem one day or all days the same, esteem them to God.

Here is what God says...

Leviticus 23:3 You may work for six days. But the seventh day is a day of worship, a day when you don’t work, a holy assembly. Don’t do any work. It is the Lord’s day of worship wherever you live.

The new testament church follows God.

Luke 23:56 Then they went back to the city and prepared spices and perfumes. But on the day of worship they rested according to the commandment.

Acts 13:44
On the next Sabbath almost the whole city came together to hear the word of God.

All of Romans 14 is based on the opinions of man, doubtful things and weak believers, not a commandment of God.

..............................All of Romans 14 is based on the opinions of man, doubtful things and weak believers, not a commandment of God.
Galatians 1...............For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ....But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen........
2 Timothy 3...............All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness............

You can't believe any of the bible since you believe it is corrupted. If you truly believe what you posted you are a fool.

Doesn't surprise me you would think my quoting scripture is "foolish things". You demonstrate rebellion to the word of God everytime you touch the keyboard.

I was trying to make light of your argumentative attitude degrading comments. I love the law of God in this wicked and perverse world. The law of the Lord is perfect for converting the soul. Jesus Is the embodiment of the law of God. Don't be a hater.

I was a Saturday Sabbatarian for 12 years as a result of belonging to a cult that taught such things were part of obedience to Christ. So, I am well informed on the whole Sabbatarian issue. I find that many Sabbatarians, if not most, are legalists who have a poor understanding of grace and are fixated on that one issue, to the exclusion of everything else, including the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. In addition, they tend to deny the Christianity of those who don't keep the Saturday Sabbath. All of these are reasons why I dissociated myself from them.

If a person can be a Saturday Sabbatarian and avoid all of the above traps, more power to them...it's their choice..however I don't find that to be true of most.
really, so you know most of them?

I don't hate. I have utter contempt for those that twist and pervert the word of God intentionally. You do that. You know better, the light has been shone in your face, you have been led gently to the trough to drink of that pure river of gospel, and you repeatedly and intentionally reject it. I have nothing but disdain for your wilful ignorance.

How did you come to understand that the God of Israel is not my God.
Did it ever occur to you that God has two 'programs' going? Israel and the Church.
I know some like to have the Church replace Israel and some have Israel replace the Church.
To me, same God, Israel and the Church are dealt differently by the One God.
That is the problem with understanding many things in scripture . . . people do not rightly divide the word of truth. They do not understand the 'mystery' which was hid in God - the church - the body of Christ .
