One can niether save one's self nor keep one's self. Jesus gives us His righteousness and the Holy Spirit seals us, both showing us the love, mercy and faithfulness of the Father.
Therefore, best to give up on self and others as in to lead us, you think? Only god leads in Spirit and truth

John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Posting scripture that has nothing to do with the topic,

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish

as you have here, doesn't show anything.

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish

Those who deny Eternal Security of the believer, deny the Power of God 1 Pet 1:5

5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

For such we should turn away from 2 Tim 3:5

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
If it besets you in anger causing one to sin agreed. otherwise it is us the people that need the Doctor Christ Jesus. We all no matter what for right here and now are in unredeemed bodies are we not? So how do we need to walk by?
Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

Atwood,
I notice the disclaimer again.

I am reading the Word. But I don't see your man made version of it. I take the whole of scripture which clearly shows that a believer can lose faith. Nothing in your citations has OSAS in it. Your fishing and will continue to fish since OSAS does not exist in scripture.
Yes as you say it, true OSAS in the whole of Scripture does not say once Saved always saved, and no one needs to convince another with what is truth to them.
This is truth to you, that OSAS does not exist, okay, so you are then not eternally secure by Christ then right?
You can change what is done for you by how you react right?
When:
[h=3]Romans 8:31-39[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

[SUP]31 [/SUP]What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? [SUP]32 [/SUP]He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? [SUP]33 [/SUP]Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. [SUP]34 [/SUP]Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. [SUP]35 [/SUP]Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? [SUP]36 [/SUP]As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. [SUP]37 [/SUP]Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. [SUP]38 [/SUP]For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, [SUP]39 [/SUP]nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Why repeat all the texts that have been posted in this thread that are diametrically in opposition to OSAS. I going to to assume you have read most of the posts.
I might also add that you have redefined them in the past so they fit your theory of OSAS. You redefined what a NT believer is so you can square it with your theory. If I posted even one text, it would not matter since scripture does not mean was scripture states, but ONLY what you interpret it to mean.

But I notice nothing new, nothing but repeat citations that don't support OSAS.
Question for you, are under the belief that the OSASers are taking God's grace for granted and sinning on purpose as an excuse to sin?
God Forbid, not so, from the view I am seeing, Not needed to be admonished as the Corinthians did, that has already gotten done for me anyway, Thank you Jesus, And Father to show me this stupidity of taking your grace for granted ever. I trust you and you alone to teach me truth over any and all error(s) I have done and might do, so praying not and live one day at a time. reckoning me dead to sin, by your death at the cross for me and all the world, daily. to see the new life you have given in Spirit and truth via the resurrected Christ

What is "eternal security"/
Never read that in the Bible, who made that up?
The result in meaning of what God tells us
Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

John 10:29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.

So if Father has given you to Christ the Son and you are confirmed from God in this, are you then Eternally secure?
I do not know if you believe this or not, but when God confirms this in you, you will know and stand fast in the Faith of Christ trusting him when he said:
John 19:30 When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

Then seeing what is finished, in waht his death did for you and all the world:
Colossians 1:22 But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation—

if you stand fast in Belief, you will come to see the truth that sets you free in Father through Christ's finished work for you, and be eternally secure in him. Just loving to all as led by Father in the power of the Holy Spirit of truth to you from Father through Son
Too Simple yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nobody has told me yet what Paul meant by a backslider.
Where does Paul talk about this at Kerry, So I can read context, consider what was going on at that time for him to write this to whomever it was written to at that time, please, and thus ask Father to reveal what is truth in what is written there. Thanks in advance Brother
Oh and I am not saying I will have the right interpretation, as if I am a know it all, cause I know I am not. Just learning as everyone else is

That's another thing, those who don't believe in Eternal Security of the believer, they don't believe the promise of Christ stated here , that is evidence of having no Faith !

Eternal security is exactly what the pharisee's believed, they were sons of Abraham and could not be destroyed, because of God's promise to Abraham, boy did they find out different.
Now that brings out this, The motive of the one that claims OSAS is key. So there must be those that claim this and are not saved, as well as those that know this and are saved. Therefore would this scripture be wise to consider below:
Romans 14:4 Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.

I didn't read the 54 pages, but has anyone said HOW MUCH/MANY good works/repentance is needed to be FULLY saved. I need to pick up one of those good works measurement thingies after work tomorrow to keep track.
And how have you been Brother. long time, no hear, thanking God you are well in your soul
Yes Radius I tried to be perfect in holding down Ten apples under water at the same time with two hands. i got real good at it, and every time I got nine down, and went for the tenth to be perfect, five others that I had held down popped up and i had to start all over again.
today I have accepted I personally in this body of sin and death I can't be perfect and go to Heaven. I need a perfect Savior.
And that is found in Christ Jesus, whom Father led me to in the power of the Holy Spirit of truth. And I see to this day without striving to know this truth today, I needed to work hard to enter the rest provided for me at the cross of Christ, moving on from the death to the new life in Christ, via the resurrected one in Spirit and truth from Father.
Who is Spirit and can only be worshiped this way:
John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

And to be clear, not I but God does this through the finished work of Son. We are invited to the wedding feast, are we going, are we there yet? It is ready, when you get there to eat, you will be given a four foot fork to eat with.
Any Questions?
