Or ever spoke its equivalent. Saul fabricated the ideology of free ticket grace, then he wrote all about it.

Jesus stated in Matthew 6:14-15 that forgiveness of sins is through performing the righteous act of first forgiving all others their trespasses, then The Father will forgive. The words "grace" and "gift" are not used.

In vs. 15 He states the contralateral specification, that to fail to firgive others their trespasses will guarantee The Father will not forgive such an unrighteous person. Forgiveness of others establishes Godly righteousness.

Pity Saul did not think in those terms. He was too busy worrying about The Law. Saul's musings about The Law need not be read by Gentiles. We were never given The Law, only The Hebrews.

If here in their reply anyone talks about myself, I will report them.
Interesting...🤔

2 Corinthians 12:8-9

8 Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me.

9 But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

"He" refers to GOD.

I would have to say I thought the secular world had a misconception of Christianity, but when I came here I found out some Christians have even more of a misconception. Thus far I have see ones that only claim to follow Paul, now it’s only follow Jesus. Not to mention that one that claimed Jesus wasn’t even God. Oy vey!

So, you don't believe in grace at all?
Did Jesus speak of Grace as the means of personal forgiveness from The Father, or did He speak of forgiveness to others to qualify for forgiveness from The Father?

I really would like to know.

Was Saul referring to Grace for forgiveness from a sin, or Grace for help with a physical problem?

Simply because the word "grace" appears there does not mean everybody's idea of "grace" is correct. In fact, no place in Scripture shows Jesus, any of the Twelve Apostles, or a True Prophet defining the word "grace."

That means anybody can make up their own definition of "grace," and then can wait until they die to find out how wrong they were.

The question is really two-folded. Forgiveness comes from the Father through the sacrificial atonement by Christ. Believers are called to forgive others their debts as God forgave ours. I would call that grace wouldn’t you?

You're just asking to be banned right away, aren't you? Don't worry, it will happen soon, if you continue posting heresy and attitude.

Sis, your profile says that you are not a Christian. So it's not surprising that you don't know much about grace.

We are saved by God's grace through our faith and belief in Jesus. His grace is sufficient for us. If we sin, and ask forgiveness He will forgive us. That's why He extends His grace to us.

This is simply nonsensical. Even the title of your thread is false.

And He [the Lord Jesus Christ] said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. (2 Cor 12:9)

And I suppose that @JoWillie must also think Luke is a very confused individual. Not only recording the Words of Christ in Luke, but also being the direct link to Paul (having written the Book of Acts as well). Was Luke a split personality type?

The word "hamburger" is not in the Bible. Neither Jesus nor anyone else in Scripture ever said it.

So does that mean that Christians shouldn't eat them?

:p

Wrong

Grace always went without "saying" while He walked this earth... He was grace!

And faith never went without "saving" which is what he preached.

Can one truly, deeply forgive without Jesus?
