Good Crossnote, you make it through the spiders. This is a deep thought and deep waters to dive into. If we or they have seen Jesus in the flesh, they have seen the Father. Any answer how is that, as God is a spirit, and called Love, I don't get it. Help. Ty.
In John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. KJV, Jesus is called the λόγος Word of God. But λόγος means more than Word, it means expression. The intent is that Jesus is in character and nature identical with the Father, to the point that He is the visible manifestation of the invisible God.

As for seeing Him in the flesh: Jesus will not appear in the flesh again until His second coming; however, we, in the flesh, may still discern Him through His revelation of Himself in His Word. That is why regular Bible study is so important.

Yes, it is like a bumper sticker and all.

Easy to slap a religious sticker or tattoo on, the real challenge is living it.

I see so many Not of this World window stickers. I wonder if most folks even know what it really means and that it's in the bible.

It's all marketing and profit.

There is a far greater famine on this earth, spiritually, sin is separation from God, it eventually will bring spiritual death, christ said, "there walking dead men". Famine is the dark cloth of hunger of the spirit that brings spiritual death.

[SUP] Numbers 33; {{ 55 [/SUP]But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.}}
[SUP]56 [/SUP]Moreover it shall come to pass, that I shall do unto you, as I thought to do unto them.

That scripture that says; "if you look for me you shall find me." HI all, something was on the Tv talking about driving out those in the Temple, and it just happened that I find it at the right time. Yes , our true teacher is the Holy Spirit, but a little help, from others, is a big help discovering the hidden treasures, that is called Wisdom in the Word. Connecting the Old and the New Testaments, we are to drive out, unclean thoughts, unholy desires, etc, bringing every thought into captivity, as the Lord drove out the money exchangers in that temple, and yes, it also happened in the Old Test,,, many times. When we look for that treasure, we need to expect it, for he said, you shall find me, when you look for me, with all your heart. I did ask this as a sincere question here, as some and maybe me, might perceive ourselves as door mats, but this is not so, reading the above verse, and another, is just as someone posted, if you've seen me you've seen the Father, it is that same character, of driving out, wickedness. I found the hidden treasures, with some help from ya all. :) :)

When God gives us a specific task (any task) and we decide something else is more important; two things happen:

1) we invite and incur the Lord's chastening.

2) we miss the blessing God intended for us.

I don't know. Is it that that little bit of faith, is displayed, or there as a reminder that in the time of death, to repent, what ever rocks the boat, but we know when the storms of life get rough, Christ is with us, within us, and not necessarily on us, as tattoo, or weapon, what happens if that arm is gone with Jesus's picture on it?

Love it! Yes.
You understand the big idea, the implications, the substance of the matter. Wise discernment.
The bumper sticker especially! Agree completely.[/QUOTE]when I first found out there was Jesus, it was just a name to me, I had no clue, of what he did, and how he suffered, there was a docu. on a guy going around trying to find the largest cross, and he thought the bigger ones, would bring him closer to God. Or your a believer now, I see your t shirt, and saw you last nite you know where.

no way I post nice pictures, and spiders too. :) lol
A little itty bitty spider. Not so nice when it would bite. A lady died from a bite, and it's like a little word, that is like a poison, you know. We could learn a lot from these little creatures, take a lesson from the ant, it stores it's food in the summer. You could tell who's the male ant, the one that run the fastest.

Yes. Many are just like the moneychangers in the temple. People find ways to use the name of Jesus and market it. It's all about $$$$.
you know I think i need to repent about churches, like some need to about preachers. :) REPENT! sometimes I think we people are a bunch of nuts. lol .

>>>>why do you think he reacted this way, I never read before his anger being shown, or it was right, being a human man. <<<<<<

1) Jesus did not REACT (meaning let the circumstances dictate his response), He ACTED (meaning he took action to right a wrong, restore order and righteousness to the temple).

2) HE IS GOD, his humanity (flesh) was made for our sake of salvation not to give us cause to reduce his words and actions to our human frailty.

3) As for my opinion about the situation, I will agree with what the scripture reveals (says) about the matter.

And you were dead in your trespasses and sins, Ephesians 2:1 NASB
I memorized this verse in the King James Version, which adds the phrase "hath he quickened" after "and you." If you have the KJV you'll notice that this phrase is in italics, indicating this phrase is not found in the original manuscripts. The phrase "hath quickened us," however, is found in Ephesians 2:5, and we'll look at it there.
In our text Paul begins by describing the past sinfulness of the Gentile believers as indicated by "you." Most see this "you" as referring to the Gentiles, but we must understand that the "you" here is universal in scope. Everybody who ever lived, except for Adam and Eve, was born dead in trespasses and sins.
"You were dead..."—in the next verse he says they were, "walking in the course of the world," so they were dead men walking. The phrase "dead man walking" was used by correctional officers in American prisons when the wardens would lead a man on Death Row down the hall to his execution, declaring, "Dead man walking!" This phrase was looked upon as cruel and unusual and therefore "outlawed" by the civil rights activists.
As an idiom, "Dead man walking" was broadened somewhat to other types of doom, even benign "doom" such as losing a job. Or to mean: " Your Days Are Numbered." But in our text it is much more serious. Paul is saying that they, and all men, are spiritually dead while physically alive. They were up and moving around, but they were dead. Yeshua made this distinction in:

Respectfully, I do not notice mention of the indwelling Holy Spirit?

Ty for the rescue. I have gotten a deeper understanding of the Character of God, and our savior Jesus. He drove out the money changers, and did the same thing in the Old Testament. People say Oh Israel, it's not part of Christianity. I don't know a lot about it, as who are chosen now, I will not judge that, but the Cloud of Witness's now in heaven, are those, who were in the Old Testament, Moses, and the others, someone said, cheering us on to the mark of the finish line. If you know any thing about those Witness's who are looking on please share it , oh this might be another bible topic, but it's okay. Elijah, and the other one are coming back to be killed by the antichrist, and raised again, because God took them up alive, and said, there is a time for every man once to die, see, he kept his word, even Jesus died on that cross. The other I believe is Moses. God took him up alive because satan was disputing where and what to do with his body, the devil wanted the people to worship Moses, and make an idol of him, instead of God only, so God took him up, alive, if I'm not mistaken. The angel the devil was disputing about, said, only this, the Lord rebuke you, and wouldn't get into an argument with him, because we well know evil always wants to twist things around, and bring chaos.
