In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. KJV, Jesus is called the λόγος Word of God. But λόγος means more than Word, it means expression. The intent is that Jesus is in character and nature identical with the Father, to the point that He is the visible manifestation of the invisible God.

As for seeing Him in the flesh: Jesus will not appear in the flesh again until His second coming; however, we, in the flesh, may still discern Him through His revelation of Himself in His Word. That is why regular Bible study is so important.

That scripture that says; "if you look for me you shall find me." HI all, something was on the Tv talking about driving out those in the Temple, and it just happened that I find it at the right time. Yes , our true teacher is the Holy Spirit, but a little help, from others, is a big help discovering the hidden treasures, that is called Wisdom in the Word. Connecting the Old and the New Testaments, we are to drive out, unclean thoughts, unholy desires, etc, bringing every thought into captivity, as the Lord drove out the money exchangers in that temple, and yes, it also happened in the Old Test,,, many times. When we look for that treasure, we need to expect it, for he said, you shall find me, when you look for me, with all your heart. I did ask this as a sincere question here, as some and maybe me, might perceive ourselves as door mats, but this is not so, reading the above verse, and another, is just as someone posted, if you've seen me you've seen the Father, it is that same character, of driving out, wickedness. I found the hidden treasures, with some help from ya all.

When God gives us a specific task (any task) and we decide something else is more important; two things happen:

1) we invite and incur the Lord's chastening.

I don't know. Is it that that little bit of faith, is displayed, or there as a reminder that in the time of death, to repent, what ever rocks the boat, but we know when the storms of life get rough, Christ is with us, within us, and not necessarily on us, as tattoo, or weapon, what happens if that arm is gone with Jesus's picture on it?

A little itty bitty spider. Not so nice when it would bite. A lady died from a bite, and it's like a little word, that is like a poison, you know. We could learn a lot from these little creatures, take a lesson from the ant, it stores it's food in the summer. You could tell who's the male ant, the one that run the fastest.

1) Jesus did not REACT (meaning let the circumstances dictate his response), He ACTED (meaning he took action to right a wrong, restore order and righteousness to the temple).

2) HE IS GOD, his humanity (flesh) was made for our sake of salvation not to give us cause to reduce his words and actions to our human frailty.

3) As for my opinion about the situation, I will agree with what the scripture reveals (says) about the matter.

Ty for the rescue. I have gotten a deeper understanding of the Character of God, and our savior Jesus. He drove out the money changers, and did the same thing in the Old Testament. People say Oh Israel, it's not part of Christianity. I don't know a lot about it, as who are chosen now, I will not judge that, but the Cloud of Witness's now in heaven, are those, who were in the Old Testament, Moses, and the others, someone said, cheering us on to the mark of the finish line. If you know any thing about those Witness's who are looking on please share it , oh this might be another bible topic, but it's okay. Elijah, and the other one are coming back to be killed by the antichrist, and raised again, because God took them up alive, and said, there is a time for every man once to die, see, he kept his word, even Jesus died on that cross. The other I believe is Moses. God took him up alive because satan was disputing where and what to do with his body, the devil wanted the people to worship Moses, and make an idol of him, instead of God only, so God took him up, alive, if I'm not mistaken.The angel the devil was disputing about, said, only this, the Lord rebuke you, and wouldn't get into an argument with him, because we well know evil always wants to twist things around, and bring chaos.
