Why is it, you somehow believe that if a person is obeying the instruction from God they are in bondage to sin by seeking rightousness through the law?
Can't they obey the Law because they Love Jesus? "If ye Love me, keep My Commandments."
Commandment keeping is the fruit of LOVE!!!!!!!!!! Commandment keeping is not Bondage to sin.
Even paul claimed He was in Bondage,,,,to CHRIST!!!!!!!!!! So he kept His Law,, why? Because Paul Loves Jesus!

He said the law causes sin.. and we thus should not look to the law, but faith in Christ (the law of faith)
Those who are saved WILL follow Gods commands (not perfectly)
Those who seek to be justified by the law will fail miserably (they may appear to be righteous, And do a good job of obeying Gods commands.. But they will not be justified, Instead the law and commands will do what they were intended to do. Condemn them.

I knew and understood that long,long ago. That is why I gave you the marriage example. It basically says, I don't cheat on my wife because I LOVE HER,,,not because of a law, or vows. Love alone leads me to be an uplifting joy and helpmate in her life. I can't say I'm an uplifting joy to her, if I'm at the strip club lusting for another.
Being grateful to Jesus for what He did on the Cross leads me to obey Him. He has displayed His love for me. I realize it. My reciprocation in return is to follow Him and Obey His Commands. Not because it saves me,, but because I love Jesus.

I'm not under the 10 commandments at all. I am dead to them. How can I keep that which I am dead to? I have been raised to new life that is the righteousness required by the 10 commandments. You seek righteousness by trying to keep the 10 commandments, and fail; I don't seek righteousness through them and find it.
It seems we need another understanding here. I have seen people who believe they are righteous because they follow the law, I have seen people who say they are dead to the law so do not follow it. Now let me explain here what needs to be understood. Yes we are saved by grace and are made right in gods eyes by faith, so we are dead to the law, but he still expects us to follow them. They are the fruit of the spirit. Have ever noticed when your faith grows strong and you get closer to the lord you lie less? is this not a commandment? We follow the law but for a different reason, no longer for fear of condemnation but because we love him and respect him.

Michael, and, I know you're an angel to your wife, but there is none of you good, brother, you must live in Christ alone, He your life, He in you leading. The Lord leads. We can only go places right when we follow Him. Don't follow anyone else, and, certainly, don't follow your self. 'Self' will become persuaded to flesh EVERY time, you must display to your wife the Love of Christ Be led by Him, find yourself in Him, in His Spirit leading your spirit.
