AngelaBR549 blasted your KJVO supremecy when she showed you the KJV has Luke 2:14 promotes universalism.

The longer ending of Mark 16, is not in a bunch of the earlier mss, but is found in more than John 7:53-8:11. The KJV used mss that were newer, the MV’s using older mss.
Does this mean we should remove John 7:53-8:11 from our Bibles?

Jesus Christ is the Word of God that came in the flesh. He is the Eternal Word of God. The Bible is what tells us about who He is and what He has done. The Bible is not eternal, as it was written by men of God.
Is that what this verse says? Is that word of God the written word or Jesus Christ?

1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

I would like to know your stand on the sin of apostasy I agree that the KJV is the best English translation all the others are perverted
Welcome to CC Jason. You are certainly welcome to your opinion, and you will find that nobody has any issues with you preferring the KJV. However, casting serious shade on other translations in your first post, without citing any supporting evidence, is a good way to be suspected as a troll. Don't worry, you wouldn't be the first... or the last.

First off, thank you for your prayers, I do sincerely appreciate that.
No, really you don't appreciate it. According to you you're way above everyone else.

My faith is in Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ
Certainly you want this to be true, but, you cannot say this in sincerity without mentioning a version. I can say it without mentioning a version, and frankly I never even consider a bible version when doing so.

is reflected in the KJV.
...and there you go. See?

I don't know what else to say.
Sure you do. Certainly you want to talk about a version some more, to ad nauseam, then grant a token to Christ when prompted, yes?

I'm not going to appologize for it lol.
The lol you use so often is quite callow.

The bottom line is you cannot accept the facts shown you. You're unchurched, one of the only few left who believes "the truth" according to you, all others are basically in apostasy because they aren't KJVO (regardless of the fact they are Solus Christus) but you, however, you're one last bastion of truth lol and cannot fellowship with others who are all beneath you. This would by necessity include folks on here.

If an unsaved person or a new convert came on this thread, they would probable throw their Bible (regardless of translation) away and just walk away from God.

I agree, there's a lot of negativity and hatefulness on this thread and there always is on a KJV thread.

not really, many Baptists can be "straight forward" like me it doesn't necessarily mean a person is a troll,it can mean "standing by" what one believes, though yes evidence is prudent.

I have absolutely no problem with anyone "standing by" a belief that the KJV translation is best, even though I disagree strongly. I have a big problem with anyone "standing by" a belief that all others are perverted.

It doesn't matter. Know one believes the NIV to be the word of God, so who cares if a lesbian was on the committee.
ok that was definitely offensive to someone.

I agree I'm not an "overbearing" baptist like my family church I believe that the word of God is half physical half spiritual ,meaning that whatever bible translation one uses if you can learn to be saved by accepting Jesus as Lord and Saviour then I'm ok with it,yet the bible is in my view half of how to learn and understand God's word,I believe one must have the Holy Spirit to have the "whole word of God" in one's life, because the Holy Spirit teaches what is true and what is not.

I still haven't found a church that doesn't teach that the bible is full of errors. But I do listen to a pastor online, does that count?
Please come to my church: we don't teach that the Bible is full of errors! LOL!

On the other hand, keep looking for a church - I much prefer to dialogue with you on an internet forum . . . ! :p

We just need to be leery of its legitimacy. The longer ending of Mark 16 says those who believe AND are baptized, shall be saved. It makes it sound like Jesus is teaching that water baptism is required to be saved. Then Jesus was also quoted as saying the signs of drinking poison and picking up poisonous snakes will not harm them. Many a snake handler is in the grave from believing this.

Who is the seed? The Christ.

Brothers and sisters, let me take an example from everyday life. Just as no one can set aside or add to a human covenant that has been duly established, so it is in this case. The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. Scripture does not say “and to seeds,” meaning many people, but “and to your seed,” meaning one person, who is Christ.[Galatians 3:15,16]
