Obviously the Hebrews suffered the plagues of flies, frogs, blood in the water, etc. After all, Moses ordered that Lamb's Blood be sprinkled on every door because Hebrew/Egyptian [both] would lose the firstborn. Seeing that the Hebrew suffered in the Plagues is more insight that Believers will go through the Tribulation and suffer there.
They suffered through the first three, but were preserved in the midst of the last seven...a prophetic foreshadowing of the final 7 Last Plagues in the midst of which God's people will also be preserved.

I am just pointing out the Death Angel did not care who was Hebrew and Egyptian.
And if a Hebrew didn't obey the Lord's commands, they might as well be Egyptian.

I like that! God was able to SHIELD His people from His wrath who were in the midst of those to whom God sent His wrath
I prefer to view it as God was never aiming at them.

And He will do it again through the Tribulation!
Jesus in the NT prayed that we would not be taken out of the world, but that we would be preserved from the evil to come. The apocalyptic Psalm 91 is clear that God's enemies are going to fall "at thy side", not "far below thine heavenly observation deck".

It's funny looking at the big picture.

We have Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Tribulation.

God began Abraham's Lineage with Tribulation. The Spiritual Lineage of Abraham's children will [end] at the Great Tribulation.

Opened with Tribulation of Egypt
Ends with Tribulation of the known World

I like to see it as when God destroyed the Earth but kept Noah and company safely intact in the midst of the destruction while the Ark was tossed to and fro.

Yes, we're told "through much tribulation we enter the kingdom of heaven", but somehow many read that as "through circumventing tribulation..."

It reveals being covered in by the [Blood] allows you to experience and witness the same tragic event without being hurt by it. Just like Christ's Blood will do during the Tribulation.

Christians saint will be overcome and killed in the Great Tribulation so the comparison falls apart. Christ's blood does not spare them from Satan's wrath.

It does not say [all] perish. When the Second Coming arrives it's for those who are still alive, they are the only ones capable of watching the signs in the sky for Christ's return.

Isaiah 26:20-21KJV
20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.
21 For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

The (Two Witnesses) Rule During The Tribulation, Representing Jesus Christ On Earth, Judgement In Plagues, The Warm Up!

Revelation 14:9-12KJV
9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Does That Look Like The Antichrist Is In Control Below, A Remake Of Moses/Aaron Against Pharaoh Of Egypt!

Revelation 16:1-11KJV
1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.
4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.
5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.
6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.
7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.
8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

Does That Look Like The Antichrist Is In Control Below, Torment Five Months, Unable To Die, Death Flees?

Revelation 9:1-6KJV
1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.
2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.
3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.
6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

Gods in complete control of the tribulation, he rules through the (Two Witnesses) through plagues and wrath, in righteous judgement
~ While God is ultimately always in control of everything, He is not presently "ruling" anything except the hearts and minds of His children who are allowing the Holy Spirit to lead them.

The world is-and-will-be [effectively] "ruled" by Satan - until Christ returns.

~ While both are forms of judgment, the Wrath of God and the Trumpet Events (and hence, the 'plagues' you refer to) are different forms of judgment - each with a different purpose in the "big picture" of the Plan of God.

The Wrath of God is the full-and-complete pure undiluted fury of God unleashed upon all of the evil on the earth.

The Trumpet Events is the last-ditch-effort of God to save the very last of those who will accept Him.

The Wrath of God is 'punishment'.

The Trumpet Events is 'pleading'.

There is a vast difference between the two.

The testimony of the Two Witnesses - and all that they put forth (the Trumpet Events) - are for the purpose of 'reaching' those who are the "last few" (figuratively speaking) that will be saved - it is not 'punishment' for/on the 'wicked'.

That comes later from/with the Wrath.

~ The Great Tribulation and the Two Witnesses are not [even] in the same time frame.

The Two Witnesses "showing up on the scene" marks the end of the Great Tribulation.

The way I see/read/interpret it, they essentially put a stop to it very quickly when they arrive on the scene.

So - the time of the Two Witnesses is a 'work' of God in/on a still-Satan-run world - He does not "take control" (fully, as in 'put down evil') until the Second Coming of Christ (which occurs at/after the end of the time of the Two Witnesses).

The time of the Two Witnesses is both a transition and a warning - that opportunity for salvation is about to cease.

God's in charge and allows Satan to make the AC the global ruler. The 2W are not ruling in the Great Tribulation.

We disagree, the two Witnesses are present before the Antichrist for his entire 42 months after his revelation, the tribulation is 3.5 years, not 7 as many teach.

The two Witnesses will have total control of the Antichrist and his Kingdom, through plagues in (Wrath &Judgement)

It will be a complete remake of Moses/Aaron against Pharaoh of Egypt

(All Plagues As Often As They Will) as seen below, (Wrath & Judgement) upon the Antichrist and wicked world

13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

The testimony of the Two Witnesses - and all that they put forth (the Trumpet Events) - are for the purpose of 'reaching' those who are the "last few" (figuratively speaking) that will be saved - it is not 'punishment' for/on the 'wicked'.
Always remember - and never forget - [that] the "tour of duty" of the Two Witnesses is to be a witness. - not to administer punishment.

Their total-sum effort-and-purpose is to soften the hardened hearts of the wicked so that "a few" can still be saved.

And then - when the last person that will be saved is saved - Jesus returns and "takes down" all of the evil on the earth.
