Flight to Pella
Jesus prophesied that the temple stones would be thrown down within a generation. He warned that the residents should flee Jerusalem to the mountains when they saw the Roman armies surrounding the city.

The armies surrounded the city in 67AD. The Christians in Jerusalem fled to Pella (which is in the mountains).
1290 days later the temple was destroyed. 45 days later the army left to go back to Rome.
1290 + 45 = 1335 the number of days in Daniel 12 that he who is blessed will attain after the tribulation.
(the abomination of desolation in Daniel 12 is an army. The Olivet Discourse harmonized in Matt and Luke show this as Luke calls it an army while Matt called it the AOD. The bible is always the best at interpreting the bible)
Matthew 24 and Mark 13 are both saying the same thing. This discourse is given PRIVATELY to Peter Andrew James and John on the mount of olives. Both of these discourses invoke the abomination of desolation.

Luke 21 is far different. Spoken in the temple to unknown disciples. No abomination of desolation mentioned. Long story short Luke 21 is emphasizing the 70 A.D. destruction. Matthew and Mark are emphasizing the end times great tribulation.

I urge and beg you to listen to this short presentation. It will remove all doubt and dispense with this ridiculous preterist heresy. There are a ridiculously small thimbleful of Christians to actually understand Luke 21.

IMO Amillennialism and preterism are the most destructive heresies in the present day Church.
It's time to abandon the heresies of the reformers along with their errors. Replacement theology will land you smack dab in the middle of the great tribulation people wake up.

One other point I see the preterists completely misapprehend:
A Week of years (49 years) per Dan 9 definitely does not fit at 70 A.D. It doesn't matter how you slice it it does not fit.

So much for preterism. Let it die the death and don't resurrect it.

I have to admit that was interesting I liked how he said precision is important I actually never really considered the difference in luke and mathew I thought they were similar but now I see why they seemed similar and I used that word in particular because they didn't seem quite the same

I see people who dont believe in Jesus on the news being deceived all the time. If you think deception will ever end without placing ones faith in Jesus you better have another thought coming.
I just take God at his word
He said satan will no longer decieved nations period don’t add or subtract just take it seriously

The Olivet Discourse in Matthew, Mark and Luke are to the same people at the same time. Whoever you are listening to is atrocious.
Amil and preterism or any of the other 'isms' are not the "most destructive heresies" - that is ridiculous. None of prophecy is imperative to know for a person to be saved. The most destructive heresy comes from those who dabble with scripture..like your atrocious friend.

I see nothing in your post that is a proof of anything or remotely convincing.

On the other hand I've good the goods. The truth of Scripture.

BTW....I finally got an admission from my former pastor that he is an amillenialist. Bye bye. Starting a different church tomorrow that is confirmed to be premill and pretrib rapture.

I'm confused? Thats not what Jesus says....

Matt 13:23
The seed that fell on good soil represents those who truly hear and understand God’s word and produce a harvest of thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as much as had been planted!”

And what does that have to do with the price of eggs??? The discussion was the Olivet Discourse.

The entire period between the ascension and return of Christ is the millennium. Christ is ruling now over a spiritual kingdom that will be immediately raptured at His return, and the new heavens and earth will then be in place.

This millennial kingdom’s temple is our bodies

1 Corinthians 6:19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?

When Jesus came, he eliminated the need for a temple (building) being in a single location. Christians became the temple of God, a house for his Holy Spirit. Because of his blood that made us clean, we can now be considered pure and holy enough to have God’s Spirit live in us.

Amillennialism is the position on eschatology that the “tribulation” period is 1st century history and that things will mostly continue as they are until Christ returns, with the gospel spreading widely in some places and being resisted in others. Which means that the millenium is much longer than an actual one thousand years

The Greek word in the bible translated as ‘thousand’ is choloi which actually indicates many thousand. The singular for thousand would have been chilias.

2 Peter 3:8 Beloved, do not let this one thing escape your ...
But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day.

Amillennials do not look for signs of a great tribulation to come, we look for Christ. Maranatha
Isn't the millennial kingdom suppose to be the period when everyone in it follows Jesus?

My friend...the millennial kingdom is aka the Day of the Lord. There are 2 main features. The promised redemption of ethnic Israel....and JUDGMENT on the nations.

The Rapture is the event that ushers in TDOTL. The Rapture occurs FIRST, Jesus takes His Bride to His Fathers house (John 14). THEN He takes the 7 sealed scroll. Taking the scroll begins TDOTL.

The GT is part of the millennium aka DOTL.

"Nations" "gentiles", same word. Satan can't devour anyone who trusts Jesus completely and if you don't believe that then yiure the one being deceived.
ok whatever

Then what the first post in this discussion states is wrong? We're not living in the millennial kingdom?

We are in the millennium, but to say its the 'kingdom' is not correct. That is figment of the Premill position.
No, its the period when things pretty much remain the same, but Satan is bound from deceiving the nations (Jews)

Didn't you say millennium kingdom at the start of this?

That part about Satan being bound. Are you saying Satan is bound right now? If so how do things pretty much remain the same if Satan had his hand in what's going on in the world?
