There is always going to be some fraud. Do you want to punish the innocent because of the few?

So then you would support those receiving various forms of welfare, that are capable of working, and not just some made up mental issue, work?

Even if they have to for 8 hrs go out and collect trash in the street?
So because of a few, you would stop anyone from getting any benefits?

You’re more full of it with each post. On a sidenote, you’re free to write a check to the IRS above and beyond your taxation requirements any time you want in order to help the poor. BUT YOU WILL NEVER DO THAT!
So you disagree with Paul?

You didn’t answer the question.

Also, the idea you think there are just a few that are fully capable of working is beyond absurd.

I asked you, would you stop all benefits to the poor and middle class, because of a few who commit fraud? Just answer the question.

Agreeing with Paul and agreeing wiht your interpretation of Paul is not the same thing.

again the liberal dodge.

You by your postings here support the baby killers.
Paul said in Romans 13 to pay your taxes. Do you agree with Paul or not?

Nope. Answer mine first.

Should every able bodied welfare of ANY kind recipient have to work for the taxpayer money they receive?
And should there be an evaluation to determine if they are able bodied?

They already have that. There are work requirements.

https://www.fns.usda.gov/snap/work-requirements
LOOK at the exceptions for NOT having to work, yet still taking money from those who do:

You are excused from the general work requirements if you are any one of these things:

  • Already working at least 30 hours a week (or earning wages at least equal to the federal minimum wage multiplied by 30 hours)
  • Meeting work requirements for another program (TANF or unemployment compensation)
  • Taking care of a child under 6 or an incapacitated person
  • Unable to work due to a physical or mental limitation
  • Participating regularly in an alcohol or drug treatment program
  • Studying in school or a training program at least half-time (but college students are subject to other eligibility rules).

EVERY person receiving welfare could use 2 or 3 of these exemptions. Which make this whole thing a farce.

For I was hungry, and you didn’t feed me. I was thirsty, and you didn’t give me a drink. I was a stranger, and you didn’t invite me into your home. I was naked, and you didn’t give me clothing. I was sick and in prison, and you didn’t visit me.’
“Then they will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and not help you?’
“And he will answer, ‘I tell you the truth, when you refused to help the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were refusing to help me.’
“And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous will go into eternal life.”
Matthew 25:42-46....

remember this when a politician wants to cut Social Security, Medicare or Food Stamps. If you support them, you might join them.
Thank you for sharing this, a good reminder indeed.

  • Unable to work due to a physical or mental limitation...so you want to FORCE these people to work? How Christian of you.
How UNChristian of you to steal from the hardworking to give to the lazy.

In bullet point 1 I could say I'm looking after a bullet point 2 person, who claims to have depression!

You can't reason that out?

Also, who is forcing who? YOU are forcing people to give their earnings to someone who isn't working.

"There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. "....so you would side with the rich man? Careful, you know where he is now.

Sadly so many Christians are caught up things like in speaking in tongues, purity, did Jesus really turn water into wine.....they miss the point of this verse. Helping others.

I disagree with you. You know, I’m kind of hungry, and so are my dogs. How about you sending us a check for at least five figures and put your money where your mouth is.

“‘Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy. (Republicans) They were haughty and did detestable things before me. (Democrats) Therefore I did away with them as you have seen. Ezekiel 16:49-50....GOD required the government to care for the poor and needy.
Israel was a theocracy-The US is not.
