I want to comment on just one of the many opinions you posted Angela. This is one small paragraph I felt like dealing with.

This entire Word Faith doctrine is a judgemental and condemning theology. Because if healing is truly in the atonement, then every Christian should be well. And if they are not, these people make the suffering feel horrible when they are already suffering and sick. Or dead, like my friend who refused treatment for her cancer, so convinced (wrongly) that she would be healed. She was a woman of great faith. But she died because of her faulty Word Faith beliefs!

Unbelief is theeee major problem on this planet when it comes to man and God's free gift of salvation. It's not God's will that any should perish but that all would come to repentance. But not all will Angela. One of the reasons so many don't see healing or victory or some relief from the hard and difficult stuff in life is also in large part due to unbelief.

Not everyone is healed because many will not even consider it's there to be had., Their own "experiences" cause them to reject healing and embrace sickness instead. But many of us believe our healing was bought and paid for by Jesus and by His stripes we are healed. We receive some 10 fold, some 20 fold, some 50 fold. It's a progression in life.

With all your negative words of your experiences about about -your life- and -your- friends and -your- pain and -- -your- Greek study and -your- long hard hours and -your- condemnation of those who don't agree with -your- opinions., all you do is continue to look to the right and to the left Angela. AND you expect other too also. Some here will fall short of that expectation.

Yes life is ugly in many places and if your theology makes you bitter then all you do is add to the already big pile of ugliness and bitterness of life around you in the world.

The judgmental and condemning spirit doesn't come from this "word of faith" you hate so much, I see it comes here from you. Your false accusations towards me remind me of the politics here in America. The liberals get mad (livid actually) and condemn those of us who don't want to support their liberal agenda. And anyone who disagrees with them must be shut up or America will be run by homophobic, race hating, masochistic, Islamophobic, unloving white people.

The way they set people up in the news is much like I see you do here. Those like me who don't agree with you are trashed. You set up your ideas in great detail with your wrong and misguided ideas about other Christian's personal faith., like these little Lego blocks. I'm reading parts of your posts and realize "she's talking about me., I'm the one who posts devotionals here of Joseph Prince in the Bible study room"

After you set up this "elaborate monstrosity" of your ideas of what you think I believe and why., you then proceed to knock it (and me) and anyone else you don't agree with -down. While all the time using your wrong ideas and perceptions based on your very limited human experiences. Those experiences of sickness and pain and losses of friends from illness and whatever else you've been through.

Angela, your experiences are a speck of sand in the scope of things on planet earth and the happenings in other people's lives. They don't speak for me or other people who don't live your life and see your faith life first hand. That is your faith to live with and move in and carry. I am busy living and moving in the faith I've been given. When was it your job to take your life and try to super impose it on mine or anyone's here?

Your study of Greek has not helped you understand the basics of how to love your enemies or win them over let alone love your brothers and sisters in Christ who don't see the Bible exactly the way you do. Your condemnation flares up like a rash here. Then it goes away but comes back even stronger like you took only part of the antibiotic and you worked up a resistance to the infection.

I think we need to learn to let others have the faith that they have before God without trying to "lord it over their faith" because they believe something different then "I do or my group."

We can post our experiences and the scriptures that we believe speak to us about the goodness and grace of God and leave it there.

I have had people tell me that in their personal experience they have asked God to forgive them but He didn't. Experiences themselves do not change the truth. Whenever we elevate our personal experiences over what the truth is in Christ - we get into trouble.

We can trust the Holy Spirit within us and others to do what His job is to do - and that is to reveal all that Christ has done for us. Jesus said "I have many things to say to you but you cannot bear them now". I believe we haven't even scratched the surface in our understanding of what the Lord has done for us.

This name-calling foolishness is not from God but from a mind that has been infected with malice and bitterness because of bad past experiences. People could just as easily call others a heretic and a cult because of their unbelief in God's word on subjects. I have seen some do this and it is not right nor godly behavior - no matter how we try to dress it up with our pious attempts.

Personally I don't agree with everything any minister or denomination says about every subject but I'm not going to slander them because of this. Let the word of Christ do it's speaking to all of us. Let's let others have their own faith before God without slandering them with the insults and name-calling.

None of us knows things as we ought to know it and we need each other so let's act with respect for each other and "allow " others to have a different view on some things then we do. It's time to grow up in the Lord and learn from each other in an environment of love and grace.

If others cannot do this - then it's time to not interact with them until they start to show respect for others and stop this foul behavior. Romans 16:17

These types of things can easily escalate to a point where Hebrews 12:15 can become a reality in all of our lives.

Hebrews 12:15 (NASB)
[SUP]15 [/SUP] See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many be defiled;
