We let one guy hijack the thread with his justifications for his fantasies of being a feudal lord with a harem.

This has been so ridiculous I don't even know what to say.
If you approve of polygamy, you must also approve of people stoning to death anyone who dishonors their parents or stoning to death someone who commits adultery.
Are you going to cheer that on too?
There is no soundness in you. And you both know who "you" are.
I am putting you both on ignore.
I suggest others do the same so as not to aid you in your folly.

For everyone who is fine with polygamy, remember this:

Every day, you wake up at 6:00am in order to be at work by 8:30am; in between you're dealing with crying children, spilled milk, dirty kitty litter and commuter traffic. Your boss is thankless, mean and knows full well you're grossly underpaid for the hard work you do but doesn't care one bit.

At the end of the day you're physically exhausted, emotionally drained and once again fighting off commuter traffic. You walk in the door and your spouse is engaged in hot, steamy unadulterated copulation with someone else -- another spouse -- and you think you'll be fine with that? I'm calling cowturds right here and now. You're all full of nonsense. Polygamy; yeah right! Get a life!
Clearly adultery is laying with another mans wife. You can only commit adultery with another mans wife. Adultery is not allowed in the bible. Marrying more than one woman is not adultery(Even a commandment in certain circumstance). A woman laying with someone else than her husband is adultery. Was Abraham, Jacob, David, and Moses living their lives as adulterers ? They clearly was not. Remember David was a man after God's own heart, and God Himself said to him, if you would have wanted more wives I would have given you. If it is a sin, God would not allow it.

Lol, I am not married. And I don't seek no harem. I just sated the Truth when someone was in error stating something as a truth. I will tell the Truth of the bible no matter what it is. I don't care what my own opinion of the matter is. What He says is what matters.

He (Jesus) said that adultery was looking at any woman with lust. You deny that.

All judgment has been given to the Son and He will reward everyone according to their own works in the resurrection. People who practice such sin are to be separated from God's people, which is the same as death unless they repent. Remember those who are complete in their transgressions and those who don't know Christ are already walking dead people. God is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living.

Adultery is conceived in the heart when you give yourself over to the lust of wanting to do it. God looks at the heart. It is also talking about another mans wife, because it is impossible to commit adultery with an unbetrothed or unmarried woman. The definition of adultery is to deal with another mans wife.

you preach law...as we discussed in another thread...and you state God is a polygamist

that is not the gospel

you brazenly came on here, and preached your personal choices and opinions with never a care for the op

you just took an opportunity to hurt someone worse then they already were hurting with your nonsense

I know God is. And Abraham, Jacob, Moses, David and others in the bible. I know Jesus was born from a polygamist family.
I also know the law of God sanction it and regulates it, and even commands it if your brother dies and has not raised seed.
I also know polygamy has always been a custom biblically and that the bible does not condemn it or say it is a sin a single time. I know polygamy is also mentioned in prophecy when there comes a time where 7 women are gonna take hold of 1 man.
if you are not even married, what business do you have in telling a hurting wife that polygamy is ok and God is a polygamist?

I find your thoughts on these matters disgusting

God made one woman for one man

you have some liberal ideas and married or not, you talk about sex on an ongoing basis as you kept bringing up homosexual sex in another thread and did not stop until I told you I was finding it disgusting the way you just kept railing on it

I'm no prude, but you make sex sound dirty with your personal thoughts on that matter and lack of understanding of sin and the fallen state of mankind

Who would want to marry you? You'd want to bring 15 other women in the home like a Saudi Prince.

I started my post with "We"
yes you did

only I was not a contributor

and

I did tell you I was only using your post as a springboard

the op has been totally left out...nothing new there, but in this case, it was spectacular

I came on board when I noticed simplified basking in the possibilities of multiple women at his command

and actually calling God a polygamist

that's some pretty awesome shuffling of the old brain cells going on

God was married to the house of Israel and the house of Judah, those were He's two wives as you can read in the scriptures. He is also preparing all He's people for the marriage of the Lamb. Discussing polygamy in the bible became a discussion because of someone stating a wrong fact about what is allowed in the bible. It is not directed at the hurting wife. All the wisdom from people and from the bible about what to do in such circumstances and about biblical marriage in general in this thread is directed at her and might be of benefit for all.

what is allowed is not permitted

My post pertains to the emotional and psychological aspects that you polygamists would not be able to handle. I won't even dignify your biblical views with a response.

He not only allows it, he permits it, regulates it and commands it to be performed in He's eternal law. God himself is a polygamist, having two wives. He would not be a bad example to mankind if it was a sin to do so.

I don't think you'll be here much longer so I shall say adios to you now :)

By the way, when you say "He's" you should really be saying "His." That is, aside from
all the egregious errors you make while handling the revealed written Word of God.

This is by far one of the best thread hijackings I have ever seen. Well done! smh...... This woman comes on here just seeking advice and within 3 posts it becomes a theology debate. Ya'll need to leave the house more often. I'm sure your mother is tired of taking you sandwiches down to the basement you undoubtedly named the Bat Cave or Wayne Manor.
