The beast received a deadly wound, That happened when the empire crashed and become no more.

I do not see how what happened when Rev was written has anythign to do with this, It is speaking of the world in the day and time the beast assumes power.

in 1 Samuel 8 https://biblehub.com/interlinear/1_samuel/8.htm they ask for a king just like the other nations,,,then they denied Jesus as their king again...they still wanted the same thing as in 1 Samuel 8.

In Rev. 17:8 it was in the pit and had already received the wound(past tense).

John is looking into the future, (not present) At the time he was looking at, It had recieved the mortal wound.

That time has not happened yet..

I see you did not comment on which city was guilty of the blood of the prophets and apostles.

When do you think God avenged the blood of the prophets and apostles? When did Jesus say it would happen? Is John in conflict with Jesus?

Would not the days of vengeance of Luke be the judgment John speaks of? If not why not?

(Mat 23:33 You serpents, you brood of vipers, how will you escape the sentence of hell? )

(Mat 23:34 “Therefore, behold, I am sending you prophets and wise men and scribes; some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues, and persecute from city to city,)

(Mat 23:35 so that upon you may fall the guilt of all the righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. )

Yes, excuse me

The angel is talking about things in the future. Events which the reader in that day can read and understand what is happening.

In that day, The roman empire had suffered a mortal womb, and will be given new life.

Matthew 23:39,,,Luke 13:35 just as soon as they say he is King ect. they'll see him again. Until then they will receive another John 5:43 their blinded in part till then.

They have had no king since before babylon.

And that king was brutally murdered in front of his family by babylon.

Since then they were a slave state, and since ad 70 they have had no one.

I believe Jesus is making a general statement in john 5. Saying they would receive anyone else.. but reject him.

a. Last three popes have bowed to and kissed the KORAN which shows submission
b. God sends strong delusion and ALL lost men WILL believe and accept the person as god

I have no problem seeing a POPE as the false prophet bow down to the Islamic leader

Thats great

We are not talking about the false prophet. But the final gentile world leader.

So the pope can do whatever he wishes, He still is not the roman king.

We are talking about WHO is the one who restrains.

Imagine 1 group who wants to kill another group, and a powerful person in the middle restraining the group from doing anything, he is in the middle, and prevenyts the one group from doing any harm

Then imagine when that restrainer is removed, The group is no free to do whatever he wants with no restraint.

Then add that Satan enters that group and become its power.

This is what Paul is talking about. The antichrist is restrained UNTIL the one who restrains is TAKEN OUT OF THE MIDDLE, At that point, Antichrist will be free to do whatever he wants.

We are told through scripture that God is the one who holds this earth together, He only allows certain things, there will come a day when God pulls back his protective restraining hands, and all hell breaks lose, like it has never broken lose on earth before. Nor will after (they call this the great tribulation)
