Yes, we cannot agree. But we can walk in love, in the Spirit. :)

Yes, Just like we are.. We disagree, Yet you did not say I attacked you or vice versa.. because we are just discussing.

Just because someone disagrees, and posts a re-buttle or apposing post. does not mean they are attacking people.

That's why I have him on ignore. about 85 % of what he says is a slam on others, while ignoreing the fact he does the very thing he attacks others for.

I agree with him about the fruit also. Fruit is not morals. But the rest of what he said was just a slam on people.

Where so many get it wrong is they call good morals good fruit.

Mormons can have excellent morals..... but no good fruit at all.

JW's will have good morals..... same boat.

So when someone comes on CC acting all soft-n-cuddly, that don't mean jack.

When someone bashes another member, & 5 minutes later they're saying nice things, those nice things don't cover up their evil.

Such evil actions ARE evil, the REAL fruit of the individual. An act of niceness don't count.

ANYBODY can act nice.

Satan can impersonate an angel of light..... Does his niceness count?
let me interpret this, in my opinion- " if you do not follow a certain denomination's opinions of what the Bible says, then you are not a real Christian " . is that right? or close to right?

Satan and his horde do not come to the believer in Christ and say "Sin all you want" because no one would for fall for such a lie.

Instead they come
as "ministers of righteousness".

They want us to live by our own D.I.Y. self-righteousness/holiness so that we will be not be depending on what Christ has done for us by grace through faith alone for salvation.

This cuts us off from receiving the grace of God in our lives.

Now, can we maintain this, even with those who revile us? If we can learn to bear offenses as He bore them, (and after all, we have not resisted to the shedding of our blood) and leaving our defense to God, we will be walking well. :)

No...he says if you at mean to someone and them pretend to be nice, it doesn't equal good fruit...it shows evilness and bad fruit....,

My question is if we used that standard....how many would be labeled as bad fruit in this thread alone?

That's a good question.

I appreciate your "Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter", and want to thank you for posting it. I just sent it to the Grand Chief of the Kinakwii Nation.

Okay, have to go do some works. :D More furniture today. Love one another. Love covers a multitude of sins. Bear with one another. Build each other up in your faith. Thought I'd never get to the end of the thread again. You guys talk too much. :D

Looks like Stephen got a new toy! It's kinda funny. MUCH better than ugly words, though I disagree with much of it.
It's okay to disagree. It's not okay to not love one another and claim to be following our Lord. :)

OMG! Figured out how to see who is on my ignore list in one place. Shocked to see the number at 35!

12 have already been banned. Guess I had good instincts there. Maybe another 13 hasn't posted in over a year.

That only leaves about 10 active ignores. I can live with that!

DID YOU FIND ANYTHING OFFENSIVE IN EITHER MATT’S POST OR MINE? MATT POSTED SCRIPTURES, I AGREE WITH THE MESSAGE SO I DON’T THINK I AM COMPELLED TO EXPLAIN TO YOU MY OPINIONS AND BELIEFS. NEITHER MATT’S WORD OR MINE IS ANY BETTER THAN GOD’S WORD, IT IS THE TRUTH.
Romans 3:4 Not at all! let God be true, and every man a liar. As it is written: “So that you may be proved right when you speak and prevail when you judge.”

“STOP BULLYING EVERYONE HERE AND STOP BEING CONCEITED AND JUDGMENTAL.”

Galatians 5:26 Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

1 Timothy 6:4 he is conceited and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy interest in controversies and quarrels about words that result in envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions

Romans 16:17 I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them.

Jude 1:4,10,12-13,16,19,22-25 For certain men whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are godless men, who change the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord. Yet these men speak abusively against whatever they do not understand; and what things they do understand by instinct, like unreasoning animals—these are the very things that destroy them. These men are blemishes at your love feasts, eating with you without the slightest qualm—shepherds who feed only themselves. They are clouds without rain, blown along by the wind; autumn trees, without fruit and uprooted—twice dead. They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shame; wandering stars, for whom blackest darkness has been reserved forever. These men are grumblers and faultfinders; they follow their own evil desires; they boast about themselves and flatter others for their own advantage. These are the men who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit. Be merciful to those who doubt; snatch others from the fire and save them; to others show mercy, mixed with fear—hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh. Doxology To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy— to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.
you were asked ,to point out. from mattfor jesus post. do you understand what i am asking here,

tim 3 is not mentioned in the post bellow. can you answer, what you were asked,

It goes both ways.. And I have tried to maintain this when I reply to people.

Agreed dear sister.
2 elements need to be present for me to ignore someone. Both have to happen on a consistent, regular basis.

1. A significant difference in certain doctrines. AND

2. Lack of love, exhibition of nasty, hurtful words to myself or mostly others.

RARELY do I ignore if BOTH elements are not present. Although if one is reeeaally persistent then I might.

I would say we have all been guilty at times, Even the one who originally posted it.
