Not on the Day of Judgement.
Even you said believers will have works.
Again, Can a believer have faith and not have works. I did not ask you about judgment day, I asked you right here right now. can a person have faith, and have no work?

Is it that hard of a question?

who are you speaking too. given this is a bible forum topic. that in line with bible context.
your context is noted

if your cut of from context, stay with the approval of man.

strange word cahoot, if it can only slander or promote approval of humans.

would also mean, no context to prove his own down fall.

Okay, then explain how my believing, when I first started it, was not a work of the damnable works gospel (which we agree it surely was not), but that EXACT SAME BELIEVING continuing to this very day IS a damnable work of the works gospel?

Correct, justification is a completed, singular event that happened the moment you first believed, and is held in place by your continued believing. Stop believing and the completed sacrifice of Christ on your behalf that justified you completely and totally and forever in that moment of time stops being applied to you. You lose it. Belief is how you gain access to, and continue to have access to the sacrifice that makes you forever justified before God the Father and no longer in need of an additional sacrifice for additional sin.

So, in other words...KEEP BELIEVING IN WHAT GOD HAS DONE FOR YOU.
How exactly is that different from what I've been saying, lol?

Which is why the Greek word for 'obedience' and 'believe' are the same word in these verses: https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/lexicon/lexicon.cfm?Strongs=G543&t=KJV

...and why works are required in salvation. Not to earn salvation, but because that's what abiding faith does--it works.
Oh PHart,
what can I say?

You're sooooo intelligent, have so much common sense.
There are no words...

It's nice that YOU understand about BELIEVE and OBEY being the same concept in the N.T.

I do wonder why everyone here does not understand these very simple concepts....

And yet, JESUS Himself has stated them so many times...
How we are to BELIEVE AND OBEY.

You do know that believers are passed from judgment right? Jesus took our place and was judged for us.

Joh 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

1Jo 3:14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

The story of the universe is this.. dark matter and light matter.. the forces of gravity are constantly trying to squash the light forces.. this is undoutably the story of the Bible...

in the Beginning the universe was created in the blink the eye the light and energy of a positive source our creator made that happen ... the darkness was allready there from the beginning the darkness tried to blow out the light and the darkness has never been able to win........ coz the creator of light and the universe has created a forever expanding one.. Isaiah 42:5 5Thus says God the LORD, Who created the heavens and stretched them out, Who spread out the earth and its offspring, Who gives breath to the people on it And spirit to those who walk in it, 6

John 1:5
The Beginning
…4In Him was life, and that life was the light of men. 5The Light shines in the darkness ,and the darkness has not over come it. AND NEVER WILL...

One cannot fall back if one is saved as in lose salvation, so to what did they fall back to....another million dollar question?

Expressions mean different things in different contexts and the writers of Hebrews if very expressive in language and style.

The other aspect to the book of Hebrews in connection to Hebrews 10:27 is that m
ankind is all "sanctified/set apart" for the gospel as far as God is concerned. It's up to us to believe it to receive the gospel of the grace of Christ.

Hebrews 10:29 is stating this fact that all man-kind has been set apart or sanctified for the gospel of Christ. Reject Christ sacrifice and there remains no more sacrifice for sins.

Hebrews 10:29 (NASB)
[SUP]29 [/SUP] How much severer punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled under foot the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?

Reject Christ's sacrifice for sins and there remains no more sacrifice for sins for "Behold the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world".

The Jews after receiving the "knowledge of Jesus" were going back to the temple for the sacrifices for their sins. This is insulting the Spirit of grace and putting the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ as a "common" thing.

Remember the word "sanctified" means to be set apart for a purpose.

Here Paul is taking about beingthe husband who is an unbeliever as being sanctified because of the wife.

1 Corinthians 7:14 (NASB)
[SUP]14 [/SUP] For the unbelieving husband is sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified through her believing husband; for otherwise your children are unclean, but now they are holy.

( This simply means the family is "set apart" for receiving the benefits of the believing wife brings as to the promises of God concerning the family. Each one will have to receive Christ on their own in order to receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness. )
