The man worked? Did I say this? And your words say that out of Faith and Gratitude he did what GOD commanded as all His Children do..

Quite sure the cake takers are grateful and have Faith that worketh by love... and you have just described them beautifully.
so you changed, and just like this man was eternally healed from leprosy, You believe we are eternally healed from the penalty of sin? We have ETERNAL security, not conditional?

Jesus never attempted nor thought about pacifying His enemies. Instead He died for them.

And as a determined truth resister yourself, you only believe a truncated version of His Work and Gospel. We're not trying to pacify you either, we're just rejecting your false gospel of self effort. Interestingly enough, those who crucified Him had the same self effort gospel.

It's remarkable that you cannot see that and attempt to turn it onto those of us who happen to believe.
Question for you Preacher, and this maybe a little off topic; Do you have knowledge of Anabaptists or the Plymouth Brethren at all. The Church that I was involved with in Chiang Mai, Thailand was called, "The Chiang Mai Baptist Group" about 10 to 15 believer's worshiped on Sunday Morning; Pastor Jack is a humble Christian with an Anabaptist theological background and we would occasionally have one or two Plymouth Brethren join our Sunday Worship. Pastor Jack and his Thai wife were founders and minister's of an orphanage in Chiang Mai.

I asked Pastor Jack why he chose the term "Group of" rather than "Church of" and his answer was because we have not been established long enough to use the title Church. And regarding the Plymouth Brethren who would attend our group they do not worship in a Church building as well, am I right. Looking for all of your vast knowledge concerning Christian theology....:)

A sincere question because my wife and I are making plans to visit family in Thailand God willing within the next few months, maybe by Christmas. Thank you in advance for your thoughts.

Ecclesiastes 12:13, “The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear Yah and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.”

1 Corinthians 7:19, "For neither circumcision counts for anything nor uncircumcision, but keeping the Commandments of Yah?”

1 John 5:2-3, "By this we know that we love the children of Yah, when we love Yah and guard His commands. For this is the love for Yah, that we guard His commands, and His commands are not heavy."

1 John 5:2-3 (ESV), "By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome."

My wife and I live in the High Desert near Edwards Air Force Base where the space shuttle would land and we frequently see and hear Phantom Jets taking off in pairs. Always a reminder that freedom is not free. Thanks for your service to our country as well.

Quote:

"It became the Marine Corps motto in 1883. These two simple words guides Marines to remain faithful to the mission at hand, to each other, to the Corps and to country, no matter what happens or is happening around them. ... The marine corp motto is Semper Fidelis meaning "Always Faithful."

Small world, that is where I drove to from Fallon, NV, where we bought our mini-dachshund. That gave a whole new meaning "miles and miles of nothing but miles and miles". I too got very used to the Jets taking off in Fallon. I lived about two miles from the Top Gun School. I moved to Lincoln, NE after my wife passed away in the fall of 2015. I sure miss hearing those fighters take off.

Brother, my sympathies for the loss of your wife. My prayers as well.

so how many gospels are there?

2 Corinthians 11:3-4 (ESV)
[SUP]3 [/SUP] But I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ.
[SUP]4 [/SUP] For if someone comes and proclaims another Jesus than the one we proclaimed, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or if you accept a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it readily enough.

Galatians 1:6-8 (ESV)
[SUP]6 [/SUP] I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel
[SUP]7 [/SUP] not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ.
[SUP]8 [/SUP] But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed.

Post for E-grateful,

And thank you E-gratefully for protecting our home front in the US Coast Guard, we have a 90ft Coast Guard vessel here in Marina Del Ray, Los Angeles, named "Point Bridge" They had an open to the public tour one day of the "Point Bridge", and I was thrilled to Go. Of the things that I do remember is that all of the engine repairs were made by the crew only. And I recall asking the tour guide why do you have 2 covered barbecue's on the forward deck and he just laughed and said those are 50 caliber machine guns. I said same thing I reckon....:)

Thanks for your service as well,

Truth
