I have shared with you the New Testament.

Now before I was speeding through all those... heading for destruction.. but by GOD's Grace I'm now in Christs car being driven on a different road.. by the power of GOD ... what am I to do as a passenger? Listen to the driver who wants to get me Home safely. I love the driver who saved me and I love my Heavenly Father who sent His Trusted Good driver to collect me and awaits my arrival.

YOU MISSED THE WHOLE POINT, THINK AGAIN.

This is a statement that is absurd. Following this logic, if they deny God we have to deny
God.

The verse says this

Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human authority: whether to the emperor, as the supreme authority, 14 or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right.
2 Peter 2:13-14

Peter is showing that the authority of man is important to respect because it is given
by God, but not everything they set is right or commendable.

Speed limits are one area which most struggle with, the power of vehicals and the
restrictions for safety. Unfortunately speed is just one of the issues.
If you extend sin into this kind of area, it becomes very legalistic.

The problem with the heart of many is they are looking for problems not looking to
honour love and the King.
GOD GAVE A TOOL FOR OBEDIENCE, IT IS CALLED CRUISE CONTROL:

1 Peter 2:13-15 (KJV)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;
[SUP]14 [/SUP] Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.
[SUP]15 [/SUP] For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:

1 Peter 2:13-15 (ASV)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] Be subject to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether to the king, as supreme;
[SUP]14 [/SUP] or unto governors, as sent by him for vengeance on evil-doers and for praise to them that do well.
[SUP]15 [/SUP] For so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye should put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:

1 Peter 2:13-15 (NKJV)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] Therefore submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake, whether to the king as supreme,
[SUP]14 [/SUP] or to governors, as to those who are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of those who do good.
[SUP]15 [/SUP] For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men--

1 Peter 2:13-15 (NASB)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] Submit yourselves for the Lord's sake to every human institution {A human institution sets the SPEED LIMITS.}, whether to a king as the one in authority,
[SUP]14 [/SUP] or to governors as sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and the praise of those who do right.
[SUP]15 [/SUP] For such is the will of God that by doing right you may silence the ignorance of foolish men.

1 Peter 2:13-15 (NRSV)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] For the Lord's sake accept the authority of every human institution {A human institution sets the SPEED LIMITS.}, whether of the emperor as supreme,
[SUP]14 [/SUP] or of governors, as sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to praise those who do right.
[SUP]15 [/SUP] For it is God's will that by doing right you should silence the ignorance of the foolish.

1 Peter 2:13-15 (ESV)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] Be subject for the Lord’s sake to every human institution {A human institution sets the SPEED LIMITS.}, whether it be to the emperor as supreme,
[SUP]14 [/SUP] or to governors as sent by him to punish those who do evil and to praise those who do good.
[SUP]15 [/SUP] For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people.

1 Peter 2:13-15 (NIV)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] Submit yourselves for the Lord's sake to every authority instituted among men {SPEED LIMITS are the human authority that controls traffic speeds, try explaining to a Police Officer why it does not apply to you.}: whether to the king, as the supreme authority,
[SUP]14 [/SUP] or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right.
[SUP]15 [/SUP] For it is God's will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish men.
1 Peter 2:13-15 (BBE)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] Keep all the laws of men because of the Lord; those of the king, who is over all,
[SUP]14 [/SUP] And those of the rulers who are sent by him for the punishment of evil-doers and for the praise of those who do well.
[SUP]15 [/SUP] Because it is God's pleasure that foolish and narrow-minded men may be put to shame by your good behaviour:

James 2:10 (NIV)
[SUP]10 [/SUP] For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles
at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.

You and I are co-equally Sinners with every mass murderer on Death Row; THAT IS THE POINT. We cannot earn any part of our SALVATION.
LET THAT SOAK IN,

and then really confess to GOD how bad of a sinner you are. I did that the very first night I was saved. Somehow I realized that I was a bad or worse than any sinner that ever lived. I weeped for hours over my utter sinfulness.

It is nuts, i can not get what people think,

I either HAVE ETERNAL life, or I DO NOT

there is no in between.
Do you know the difference between life and eternal life?
The only difference is eternal life does not stop. And you only truly know you have not
got eternal life when your life stops.

And who decides? God. Not you or me, but the Lord.
So there is not such a thing as having eternal life and then losing it.
This will be decided at the right time in the future when the fulfilment of the promise
is reached.

Communion with Christ is the beginning of the road of promise. To just begin to listen,
and then let the voice within speak out. Some certainly have been trying to listen, but
ignore too much, and what they let speak out is not from the heart but their desire to be
safe.

The real question for me, is am I holding anything back.
If the answer is yes, I desire that this might be given over to my King, friend and Lord.

So many distortions, false trails, compromises, double speak and rejection of the blank
truth of walking in the light.

So what can we say in Christ? I have walked with my Lord this far, and I desire to
walk further and deeper in His ways. Glory to the King.

Now this is not the langauge of the compromised and unresolved, because they feel the
pounding of their condemnation which keeps them outside the gate.

vco - My friend please grow up. I have not walked with the Lord for over 40 years, to
be told by a believer I need to know I am the same as any other sinner who needs saving.
I knew this 40 years ago, like I know it today.

What I did not know then was how our emotions define who we are and how we behave.
We cannot walk in maturity until these things are brought into the Kingdom.

You cannot know His cleansing while holding on hatred or bitterness, or unforgiveness,
or bitterness about some act done against one in the past.

Now those who leave these buildings in their hearts shut out the true reality of the King.
It takes time, and patience to find these realities and actually walk in Gods blessing.

The first step has always been recognising the mess, but the next is taking action and
following. That is harder than some realise because each has their own map of issues,
that the Lord will take them through. You know were some are, because they deny there
is a need or even a map to follow.

I am sure so many are confused, either they are wrecks with no resolution or they want
others to admit they are the same and there is nothing else.

. . .
So are you saying your religious beliefs say it does not matter that your beliefs contradicts what GOD HAS SAID IN HIS WORD?

John 3:36 (ESV)
[SUP]36 [/SUP] Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

John 5:24 (HCSB)
[SUP]24 [/SUP] “I assure you: Anyone who hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment but has passed from death to life.

1 John 5:11-12 (HCSB)
[SUP]11 [/SUP] And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
[SUP]12 [/SUP] The one who has the Son has life. The one who doesn’t have the Son of God does not have life.

Do you not know that at natural birth, our human spirit is dead because of our sin nature that we inherited from Adam?

Do you not know that the moment the Holy Spirit enters our heart WE BELIEVE, because the Holy Spirit just birthed our human spirit into eternal life?

John 3:5-7 (HCSB)
[SUP]5 [/SUP] Jesus answered, “I assure you: Unless someone is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
[SUP]6 [/SUP] Whatever is born of the flesh is flesh, and whatever is born of the Spirit is spirit.
[SUP]7 [/SUP] Do not be amazed that I told you that you must be born again.

The point I am making, is the word eternal life, is life that does not end.
It is outside our experience because we know only of life and death around us and assume we
too will one day die.

So my friend, we have eternal life if we believe in Christ, but this means we will not be killed
and destroyed in the 2nd death. Now you could turn it also into a mystical impossible to undo
concept of change, but there is not so much evidence for this. The question is this all metaphore
or a physical change? We do not know. Jesus implies it is impossible to recognise Him as the
Son of God without God revealing this to us.

And communion with God changes us, but if we are in the vine, we can also wither and die.
Does not sound like an impossible to undo experience, but like any gardener will tell you life
is given and can be taken away.

My position is I do not fully know, but I trust Christ and follow. It is insecurity that drives people
to speculate too far, rather than perceive the beauty of the cross and its eternal significance to us
and how this changes our lives. It has been obvious to me, many claim faith, but the cross is
neither here nor there, it is some distant sin/righteousness resolution they are not sure how they
are actually involved with. I on the other hand know my Lord died for my sins, and set me free,
in whose debt I will eternally be grateful for. He holds my life totally in His hands, and nothing I
can do is without His input.

So I am puzzelled by believers finding so much wrong with walk in love, purity and righteousness.

But maybe I need to ask a different question. Who truly knows you and loves you? How far can
you go, and is the Lord your deepest loyalty? This is our calling, it is not even up for debate, this
is the narrow path, all else is false.

No, eternal life is not about this mortal shell that I walk around in. For the Born Again Christian, ETERNAL LIFE is in our Human Spirit and it is VERY MUCH A REALITY. I know my Human Spirit is VERY MUCH ALIVE and that life will NEVER END. My human spirit thinks as much and probably way more than my Human Mortal MIND. My Human Spirit is very much in tune with the will of GOD; while my mortal Mind has a hard time thinking past the will of the Flesh, especially when I am hungry. The REAL ME, is the part of me that will go to heaven the moment I die.

You say a lot of the right things, especially in your last paragraph, but how is it you seem to have NO KNOWLEDGE of the Reality of the Born Again, Eternally Alive Human Spirit? I knew ever day that I loved Jesus Christ more than I did my wife, whom I was married to for 36 years, and I KNEW she Loved Jesus Christ more than me at all times too.

If you have never experienced this, you most likely are not Born Again yet. Could it be that your denomination never teaches "Born Again"? That is a free gift that will cost you everything. What I mean by that, is it happens when you can LOVE JESUS CHRIST SO MUCH that you can willingly surrender complete control of your life to HIM; Trusting Him Completely to run your life. If you are holding back a little bit of your life just for YOU, you have not surrendered to HIM yet.

The other thing that I find strange, is how can you say so many of the Right Things without ever mentioning how deeply and Personally you LOVE JESUS CHRIST? You call it a deepest loyality, while I boldly tell you it is WAY BEYOND THAT for me. My Realationship with Jesus Christ is a sincere inner personal LOVE Relationship, where out LOVE FOR HIM, I lovingly surrender to HIM as LORD, which means MASTER.

VCO the ordinance of man may require you to take a mark to be able to buy and sell... It may require you to denounce your Faith to live.... discernment.

if you think speeding is a sin according to GOD because of those verses.. well be careful not to entrap yourself elsewhere.

Daniel refused the Kings order....

Now speeding is a safety measure and we should all be careful not want to injure anyone by our wreck less behaviour.. So we discern that is fine. But if they were to say that our children must worship a statue each day I think we would discern a no, no because our Faith is our Hope and life and we do not worship statues.....

So my friend, you believe you did not have a spirit before you were born again and now you
do. This in nature is very similar to the duelist theology of the gnostics.

I do believe that we are born by the Spirit of God from on High. Jesus said to Peter, he could
not have recognised Him as the Son of God unless God had not revealed it to him.

To be born of God is to be born into this realisation. It changes everything and it bring life
to our spirits and soul. We are born with a spirit, it is who we are, but it is dead in sin and
rebellion at birth. Just not knowing God is rebellion. This is not a choice, it is something we
are born into.

And we are intricately linked to our brains and how they function, at a very physical level.
If the circuits go wrong, so do we. To separate us from our physical existance is an error.
God is talking about our whole being is born again, starting as a child in the Kingdom of heaven.
It is then a question of what do we sow to, either our worldly passions, that come with our
physical form, or the heavenly desires that come with our encounter with God.

How in tune we are with God, is something we discover. It is obvious from the behaviour of
some, they are neither in tune with God or can face the reality of scripture.
And I know how scary scripture actually is. It is this that stops us asking questions in case
we cannot cope with the answers. But I trust Christ who is the truth.

The lie told by some is defeat comes with the cross, and we must be passive and just accept
our fate in the battle with sin. You hear them shout, how dare you claim victory, you hypocrite,
you sinner, you self righteous pharisee. But this is the gospel, the missing link, love empowered by
the cross to fulfill the law, the moral law of sin and death, and to show victory like a light on a
hill. Do we ever know if we have succeeded? No, because our focus is on Jesus, praise and service.

And to be born again is to be a new creation, walking in the light as He is in the light.
It is obvious many not even for 5 minutes can testify they are walking in the light, or even know what
this means.

1. The cross is not enough to save you, that would be universalism, you have to believe it.

2. Saying Jesus does not wash you clean, make you righteous, Holy undefiled before the King,
you still need Jesus to cover your present sin is unbelief, a neat trick to say sin is not a problem.

3. Believing you have eternal security no matter what you do in the future is an idol that replaces
a true living relationship with God.

I am glad in the blindness of these spiritual truths dc wants to highlight the errors of his position.
The fact he and others do not see the spiritual failure to enter into the Kingdom, is a wonder.
But until you believe in what God has called us to, one just has the sins one is born into.

But my brothers and sisters in Christ, those who have not entered in, will always be blind to the
realities Christ has given us in the cross and the Kingdom. Now you know how true this is, because
their hatred and anger at not accepting where they are is Gods gospel, is testimony enough to the
spirit of the flesh in which they walk.

A) The cross is the Power of GOD
B) Imputed Righteousness is not a free pass to stay dead in our trespasses until the mortal puts on the mortal.. GOD gives us a New Holy Spirit to abide with in our mortal by Grace through Faith.

C) Some have made the Cross an idol instead of worshiping GOD in Spirit and Truth who is the Power and love of Birth, Death and Resurrection of our Messiah, His Only begotten Son.

I suggest you surrender to the truth before it is too late.....!!

a. Paul said he would glory in the cross of Christ because of the sufficiency of what took place and all who exercise genuine saving faith are saved, justified, sanctified and sealed into Christ eternally.

b. Paul concluded as well as David, Abraham and others that a man is indeed JUSTIFIED (rendered legally innocent in the eyes of GOD eternally, spiritually) by faith void of works having had the RIGHTEOUSNESS of CHRIST void of the LAW IMPUTED by faith.....having been born of INCORRUPTABLE SEED.....your false view would have this seed be corruptible....

c. The bible is replete with the security that is found in Christ and it is identified as ETERNAL LIFE, EVERLASTING LIFE and PAUL speaks to this...IF IN THIS LIFE ONLY we have hope in Christ we are of men MOST MISERABLE.....

What a sad, weak, ineffectual, inept god one must believe in to deny the very verbiage of GOD and the absolute HOPE, ASSURANCE, LIFE, SALVATION, REDEMPTION, JUSTIFICATION, SEALING, SANCTIFICATION and STANDING that is found in Christ and his work on one's behalf.....

My friend, I understand what you are doing, and to you it makes perfect sense.

You are the focus of change, your sin is ok, just covered over but continues, and God will
rescue you out of your continued failure and defeat because at some point you acknowledged
Him. This makes you the precious baby who cannot be touched or asked to do anything, or
God is incapable of working in your heart for you become a true child of the King.

So I totally reject your accusations and shine the light on them for what they are, total
compromise and an denial of the power of the Holy Spirit working in a believers heart.

And the foundation upon which I stand is my own life and that of many millions who have
come into the Kingdom.

For those who are static and never understood what they grew up into, I can see how
you could end up like this, but it is not Jesus, King and Saviour.

Everything in your model could work if the believer was washed clean and walked in purity
and holiness, which is what Jesus, Paul and the Apostles talked about.

You take the same language and apply it to a continuing enslaved sinner.
It just falls apart.

And you get so angry about this. Why is that? Where is this pride coming from?
I do not expect you to change, because it is obvious you do not have a heart of flesh,
but is hard. You have no concern for the effects of your words or condemnation, because
it holds no understanding of what you are fighting against or for.

God is love, and His ways are pure and Holy. As John the baptist said

You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath? Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. And do not think you can say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham. The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.
Matt 3:7-10

Walk in the ways of purity, love and righteousness and you will know His presence.

Dear reader, "twist" is used in a derogatory way.

This is no friend coming to correct a brother, but someone determined to overthrow another.
Now every word could be right except one sentence and that one sentence could mean it is
actually meaningless.

If a believer is not clean and acceptable on the day they come to faith, how can they have
communion with Christ, be born from on High, be indwelt by the Holy Spirit and be regarded
as a temple of the God. Equally how can you be light in a dark world, full of joy and knowledge
of Gods power working in mortal man, if this is not actually happening.

Now the complexity of our histories, our feelings, what Jesus actually means to us confuses
a lot of discussions and parts of scripture. Jesus aim is to create a pure, holy people here in
the world, who know His ways, and truly love one another.

Now I know how staggeringly optimistic this goal is, after living in community, having a family,
having kids, conflicts, being pushed to my limits emotionally and physically, and yet still able
to learn through repentance and humbling the way of love and truth.

I know when things are seen in their true perspective, it is possible, but it takes time and
energy to walk and even run in these things.

And the even stranger part, is you become less aware of being objective, just learning how
to react and work things through. And this is our calling, we are not defended individuals who
need recognition, but servants of the most High serving and following in His ways.

My friend, I understand what you are doing, and to you it makes perfect sense.

You are the focus of change, your sin is ok, just covered over but continues, and God will
rescue you out of your continued failure and defeat because at some point you acknowledged
Him. .
This is a lie and false....as well as the rest of your post which is not worth repeating and has no value....You assume many things and accuse people of any things not true.....more fluff from the fluff ball......OH....I mean cake taker.....!
