"Noah had, no where to hide" - "Noahide"
Funny how language has to be explained for the meaning of the writer to be understood.
It is why to assume you understand someone and pour scorn, abuse, rebukes on another
can actually be sinful behaviour.

Jesus is our King, our example and our Lord. So how is it a kingdom can stand if it divides
itself so easily, and desires to push away friends and brothers, when the people who need
a saviour are the lost and dying, who do not know and experience the love and grace of God.

"The Lord is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him."
Exodus 15:2

Hebrews 4

1Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. 2For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
3For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
4For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. 5And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest. 6Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:
7Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
8For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. 9There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. 10For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God didfrom his. 11Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

labour therefore.. labour in love..

so the Word of GOD mixed with Faith profits...

So if you hear and have Faith your works make perfect your Faith because the Messiah said those that Love Him Keep His Commandments..

Faith that worketh by Love... because GOD loved us First.

If Paul taught against works why did he give works for us?

He actually gives the work of children honouring their parents in line
with the Commandments of GOD.

Because Paul was Teaching people to Keep the Commandments of GOD through Faith in Christ... and those verses that many use to say otherwise are Teaching the New Covenant in place of the OLD but never was meant to speak against GOD's Law which Paul knew the Holy Spirit given through belief in Christ is the power of GOD over the flesh that was at enmity with GOD's Law and Faith in Christ is the only way to be set free from sin to be under Grace at liberty to Love as we are Loved.

Christ is our Righteousness but do not take that to mean you do nothing.. for Christ gives us our instructions... set your heart to believe and obey.

"He came unto his own, and his own received him not." John1:11

But now today people reject the finished work of Jesus of Nazareth and go back to keeping the Mosaic Law. They want their Law Keeping, plus Jesus, and He will say on that day...."who are you, I never knew you." History repeating itself.
it is sad, Many of these people love the OT, and live by it, yet they fail to learn from the mistakes taught in it, Namely how a nation God built to serve him and show the world who he is, failed to do so. Because they were to busy trying to impress him with their obedience and laws. And not have a relationship with him, which is what he wanted in the first place.

and here we see today all these people trying to make the same mistake they made, And use the same arguments which failed back then, As if today they will somehow magically work.

Yep. Not having believe the Gospel has many looks: Neo-Judaism, "workers for" the "maintainers" (same as working) and we have some Pelagians here who see Christ as a moral example, not as the one who paid for our sins saving us fully as a propitiation, and therefore talk of their love, humility, wisdom, walk, self-righteousness, works and show contempt for others, while rejecting the imputed righteousness of Christ as "Jesus Spray."

People will not be told to depart for Keeping GOD's Commandments through Faith in Jesus... that is the New Covenant. If your Jesus does not instruct you to Keep the Commandments of GOD then you should be concerned. For the Messiah gave a New Testament where GOD's Law is taught and instructed us in Justice, Mercy and Faith... taught us the Royal Law of Loving GOD and each other...

Don't reach for a verse for nothing teaches against this.. no it is affirmed throughout yet many believe not and wrestle with Scripture just as Peter stated.

If you knew Heavenly Father you would know how far from the Truth your belief is that those told to depart are those that Keep His Law through Faith in His Son's Testament is.

The saints Keep the Commandments of GOD and have the Faith of Jesus. No surprise because He teaches us to through His Testament.. yet unbelief keeps the Truth afar..

The men who scoff and mock believing they have the Truth will be those in for a big disappointment.. yet there is hope if they seek the Truth and Believe. For GOD is able to pierce and give a New heart even to the most stubborn.
they will if they did them to be saved, Maintain their salvation, or keep from losing it.

Just like many of the jews spent their whole lives obeying Gods commands, yet will be told the same thing, depart. I never knew you.

OK my fault, but my point still stands. Seeking to do the will of the Most High does not cancel out His grace/mercy.

Sorry friend, and you have been told this so many times before.

if your doing them to GET saved, STAY saved or keep from LOSING salvation. It does.

Grace and works do not mix, it has to be one way or the other, it can not be both.

Jesus spray lol. I know, the jews spray painted their doors with the blood of the lamb to keep their firstborns from dying.

Hey, I'll take it.

Yes, the imputed righteousness of Christ was mockingly called "Jesus Spray" and a neat little trick that doesn't work, security in Christ was called an idol, and that the cross isn't enough. All from one individual. Seems to be an OK gospel on CC.

Really? I don't believe you.

GOD does not reject His people for obeying Him.. go search the Scriptures and learn why they were cut off... it is full of their abomination not obedience... and all for us to learn from.. Let us never become haughty but be humble lest we fall in unbelief like them..

The Children of GOD have Faith and that Faith is made perfect by Christ works who gives us instruction on what we are to do to enter in... the Good Shepherd leads us to the narrow gate.. like GOD said this is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased listen to Him.

So may we all listen to Him for His words give Everlasting life to those who obey Him.

Starting to sound familiar. So the narrow gate really is for pharisees. They find it the hardest to do the most humbling thing.

Reminds me of this random fact, which may or may not be completely accurate, my memory's foggy right now.

There's this eye of the needle gate in Jerusalem. It's easier for the camel to go through it because all they have to do is bow down.

You call self-righteousness obedience. Understandable because it's easy to mix them up. But when you see what makes the works based salvation essentially self-righteousness, you'll wonder how you never saw it before.

when Jesus spoke of the narrow way, he was speaking of himself. John 10.

really people, it does get old explaining simple hermeneutics. stop just throwing stuff out there, and study yourself approved.

Oh, let's not forget the pretense and implication that "they" only obey God, and, that all others of whom they hold contempt, live in disobedience and live in sin. Luke 18:10-12

Amen! From beginning "have been saved through faith" (Ephesians 2:8) to end "receiving the end of your faith--the salvation of your souls" (1 Peter 1:9) salvation is through faith and is not by works.

The idea you have Grace or works... is to say you partake in the New or the Old Covenant.. both have GOD's Law as part of the agreement.. one condemns.. one saves... but the Goodness of GOD and His Law is in both.. the First Covenant condemned us all by finding us guilty of sin.. showing us the evil in us... we learn why we need to be born again of the Holy Spirit that gives us the power of GOD to overcome through Christ who was Victorious for us .. to lead us Home to Heavenly Father on the path of Righteousness.

If you think a person that Believes we are to do the works that Christ gave us through His Testament is under law and not Grace then you have not believed the Truth that sets you free to be at Liberty in Christ to Love GOD and each other..

If what was written in stone is not written on your Heart by GOD through Faith in His Son then you are not yet part of the New Covenant.. because GOD said that is what He would do and that He did.. and you are to Repent and believe to be grafted in to the True Vine to receive the goodness of Christ that feeds your branch producing fruit acceptable to GOD.

Faith without works is dead.. True, absolutely true. :)

But, those same works done to gain, keep or maintain salvation, are also dead. They will gain you nothing, not even a ticket to heaven..
