Thanks for proving the point...NO ONE KEEPS THE LAW...IT CONDEMNS and points to Jesus
You're a Christian, right? Why is it that you do not understand that when the believer sins he has the blood of Christ to forgive that sin? Surely you indulge the grace of God's forgiveness when you sin, why don't you allow law keepers to indulge it? They believe in Christ, too, you know. They are not trying to be justified by the law. And they rely on the blood of Christ to keep them clean when they sin too.

Then why do you care, since in your OSAS doctrine they're still saved anyway?

hat's eating you about this? Can't you just leave 'em alone to love God and give him thanks in the way they want to? Us Protestants and Catholics did that.....we invented holy days to do that, so why can't they have their own holy days to do that? They just happen to want to use the ones that God made, not the ones that man made.
You still fail to see that your root is corrupt....by saying you can lose it or must maintain it is to emphatically state that you never trusted Christ in faith to begin with.....you went into it believing YOU must maintain it, keep it or help keep it....and that is a false gospel of a different kind with no power to save!

Do you not understand the difference between then and now? David had no inner working of the Holy Spirit nor a new birth.
Your side is flat.
Geesh....tell that to David....a man after God's own heart.....I bet Uriah would beg to differ......do you think before you type!

Yes, David sinned, and we Christians say that, by virtue of faith, Christians are not to sin. So why is it you do not give Messianics the same benefit of their faith and let them believe that, by virtue of faith, they are not to sin by observing pagan holidays?

This post proves you neither listen, read, nor acknowledge the truth that has been posted....How many times have I stated that where sin abounds Grace abounds the more.....the difference is simple....NO ONE KEEPS the law for one must KEEP THE ENTIRE LAW 24/7/365 in order to claim they keep the law......seeing how only Christ has done that....to make that claim makes one a liar...and by default makes them a law breaker.....NO ONE KEEPS THE LAW

Zi....this proves ignorance on your part....David spoke of both in the present tense......His salvation and the Spirit of God in his life.....

Is Jesus/Yahshua a legalist?

Mat 19:16-17, "And see, one came and said to Him, “Good Teacher, what good shall I do to have everlasting life? And He said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good except One – YHWH. But if you wish to enter into life, guard the commands.” TS2009

Mat 19:16-17, “Just then a man came up to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life? Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.” NIV

Mat 19:16-17, “And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? 17And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. KJV

Mat 19:16-17, “Someone came to Jesus with this question: “Teacher, what good deed must I do to have eternal life? Why ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. But to answer your question—if you want to receive eternal life, keepg the commandments.” NLT

Mat 19:16-17, “And behold, a man came up to him, saying, “Teacher, what good deed must I do to have eternal life?” 17And he said to him, “Why do you ask me about what is good? There is only one who is good. If you would enter life, keep the commandments.” ESV

Revelation 22:12-15, "And behold, I come quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work will be. I am the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Blessed are those who keep His Laws, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For outside are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and worshipers of gods and everyone who professes to love, yet practices falsehood."

For JUSTIFICATION. Context, dcon, context!

Galatians 5:4 (HCSB)
[SUP]4 [/SUP] You who are trying to be justified by the law are alienated from Christ; you have fallen from grace.

Romans 5:8-10 (NASB)
[SUP]8 [/SUP] But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
[SUP]9 [/SUP] Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him.
[SUP]10 [/SUP] For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

(Why is it you folks get to play the judging card, but we can't?)

I trust in the blood of Christ for the forgiveness of sin. I am most certainly saved. I have the fruit of the Spirit growing in my life as the evidence of that forgiveness. So how is it that you can say I have never believed? But the real question is, WHY are you saying that, since 'believing' is hardly me trying to earn my salvation anyway. I can not believe the church has come to the place where even believing is now a work of the works gospel.

Like I say, just post the passage that says continued believing is a work of the damnable works gospel. Since you can not do that we know that you are teaching a false gospel. This isn't even a matter of a difference of opinion about a passage. You simply have ZERO scripture to support your claim that believing is a work of the damnable works gospel. ZERO.

Matt 5:18, "For truly I say to you; Unless heaven and earth passes away, one yodh--the smallest of the letters--will in no way pass from the Law, until all things are perfected."

Revelation 21:1-2, "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away,

Mat 5:18-19, "For truly I say to you; Unless heaven and earth passes away, one yodh – the smallest of the letters – will in no way pass from the Law, until all things are perfected. Whosoever, therefore, will break one of the least of these Laws, and will teach men so, he will be called the least in the Kingdom of YHWH; but whosoever will do and teach them, the same will be called great in the Kingdom of YHWH."

Luke 16:16-17, "The Law and the Prophets were until Yahchanan(John), since that time the Kingdom of YHWH is preached, and every man is pressed to enter it. But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one yodh of the Law to fail."

He died so you can uphold the righteousness of the law through the power of the Holy Spirit, not trample it underfoot as if grace was your license to sin.

The Protestant church is not as smart as she thinks she is.

Sure....the law is for the LAWLESS and CONDEMNS ALL WHO ARE NOT IN CHRIST......

The righteousness of Christ (who fulfilled the law) is manifest WITHOUT THE LAW and IMPUTED unto ALL who genuinely believe!

"You who are trying to be justified by the law..."

How are you missing this right in your own quote, lol?

The only thing forbidden about law keeping is trying to be justified by it. They are NOT doing that. They seek to be observant for the same reason we (sometimes) seek to not be jealous, not be envious, not be hateful, etc. How are you people missing this? Are you choosing not to see it, or are you genuinely not capable of seeing it?

1 Corinthians 7:19, The circumcision is naught, and the uncircumcision is naught, but the guarding of the commands of Yah does matter!”

Ecclesiastes 12:13-14, “Let us hear the conclusion of the entire matter: Fear Yah and guard His commands, for this applies to all mankind! For Yah shall bring every work into right-ruling, including all that is hidden, whether good or whether evil.”

Mat 19:16-17, "And see, one came and said to Him, “Good Teacher, what good shall I do to have everlasting life? And He said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good except One – YHWH. But if you wish to enter into life, guard the commands.”

Admit what? That believing is me trying to earn my own salvation? Not without a scripture that says that I won't!

You don't have a scripture to prove your dogmatic assertion......end of story!
