The imputed righteousness of Christ.....not the righteousness produced by men who claim to be sinless.....
The old "me" is dead now.
It was crucified, buried, and raised with Christ to walk in newness of life.
It is His righteousness in His vessel.
No room for sin in "Him"

The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed:
'God, I thank you that I am not like other people
-- robbers, evildoers, adulterers --
or even like this tax collector.'

(Luke 18:11)
for a covenant wherein we can be righteous all the time.

This statement is not only ignorant, but contrary to the bible and satanic at it's core.....

He that believes on the son is having everlasting life and is passed from death unto life......they will not face the lake of fire....talk about ignorance...wow....!
The devils believe, and tremble.
Sin manifests unbelief.

But lots of room for boasting?

Re: Not By Works

I sensed a bit of loneliness in your posts, Philip. We all long for our eternal home at times. But, Our life is more important to be alive than we may realize.

What you sense is the fear I have for those who see no danger in sin.

so, you were going to tell me about when the Law of Moses was given to Adam . . ?

It wasn't.

or you still sticking with "
there was no such thing as sin before Exodus 20" ?

it is written..."
Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God." (Rom 3:19)
Was Adam under the law?
do not build steps on your altar, or you will expose your shame.
A worthwhile exhortation.

I pray that you will grow in grace and knowledge...soon.
And we all hope and pray you abandon the False Prophet that has been deceiving you, then, you can take your own advise.

Just so you can finally understand the TERM, GRACE is receiving a free giftfrom GOD, that YOU CANNOT EARN OR EVEN KEEP, out of your own efforts. From you false teaching, you obviously did not know the meaning of the word GRACE.

I am now in favor of ignoring your posts, but lay off trying to LURE IN the lambs, that is what a WOLF PRETENDING TO BE A SHEEP DOES. I and several others here will protect the Lambs from your deceiving false doctrines.

I will go with Bill's focus any day over your café blend, sinless perfectionist blindness.........
All men are given that choice.
God won't force you to lover Him above all else.
I'm glad I took that option, though.

According to you, sin manifests unbelief, which you say is inconsequential. Why then fear? Where the danger? My understanding is different. I simply wonder how you come to these conclusions that contradict Bible teachings.

many who think they do not sin have a appointment at the lake of fire, they may think they do not sin, but they ( you ) are wrong.

your beliefs have nothing to do with reality. reality is truth, not your sinless perfection self-deceit.
You should have someone read John 8:32-34 to you.
And 1 Peter 4:1.
And 1 Cor 15:34.

Listen....your ignorance is about as deep as the Laurentian trench.....Peter had faith and denied the Lord three times = sin....take your sinless perfectionist garbage to some other thread....because I for one am tired of you mocking Christ, lying, and spreading heresy.
Yep.
He did it before receiving the Holy Ghost, which is only given after repentance.
Heresy?
Loving God above all else and your neighbor as your self is heresy?
Wouldn't Jesus be surprised.

Your not obedient to God, your a deceived false teacher....and why was you banned from the other site..do tell.....oh...the reason is obvious!
If it is obvious, that if belief and obedience to God is not to be considered, I will get banned here too.
I'ld hate to have the spark of light removed from this site though.

I guess your blind to the fact that Jesus inspired DAVID as well......no big surprise....you are still in sin and have not trusted JESUS yet it seems....
I sure am glad that God made it possible to walk in the Spirit instead of in the flesh in this new covenant.

I believe Jesus is God and therefore omniscient. Therefore, nothing would surprise Him, not even knowing that you believe yourself already perfected in Him, though He has yet to bring to completion the good work He *may have* begun in you.

But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me, a sinner!' I tell you, this man went down to his house justified
(Luke 18:13-14)
Why don't you suppose his "turn from sin" was any more genuine than some others here?
BTW, it was a parable anyways.

Your nothing like me..
Thank you for that reassurance.

...you are more like the Pharisee of old.....self righteous, brags on your works in public, claims no sin and all else sinners who are lost because they are honest with the truth.....
WOW.....just like the Pharisee........yep....your pegged....
The one major difference between me and Pharisees, is that I don't commit sin.
Nobody but Christ could do that before Christ's resurrection.
Thank God we can be "in Christ" now.

No...I am not defending sin and yanking Matthew 24 out of context to prove your false point does not help make your false case.....you should stop being a Pharisee and admit the truth and get right........
"Get right"?
You mean sinless?
Or is your "right" laden with ongoing sin?
