Do you know how many times people have mistaken people on anonymous forums?
Every day.

But to what are we called to do each day? Bring glory to our Lord and Saviour.

Either you are trying to defend the Kingdom against the enemy, which invariably means
you end up working for him, or you are following Jesus and learning how to be conformed
to His likeness.

So all I can say, is God bless you, and may the Lord fill your lives with blessings, so that
you overflow with blessings for all those you meet each day, Amen

I've no doubt it does happen Peter - but to find another person misspelling "confinds" and "reconned" and posting those in the same thread on the same forum would be more than a coincidence yes?

Of all the rebuking of others as lost, that they don't obey, that their trust in Christ is an idol, and of how important it is to obey, and how he follows, is wise, humble, obedient, you'd think the least he could do to back himself up is tell the truth about himself. Right?

But no, of course not. :(

Sounds like wise words to me.....God bless you all, whatever you wish to achieve, because Gods
heart is always for the sinner to become a saint and know His heart, Amen
I can't say what everyone on here wants to achieve... but there is one on here that it seems like all he wants to do is get people banned.

Not saying any names or anything, but he is the rudest person that I have ever seen posting. If you don't agree with every word he says then he calls you names like wolf, heretic, etc. If you try to be nice to him, he keeps on instigating trying to make you reach your breaking point, and then if you say anything back to him he cries and says you're attacking him. He then runs straight to report you and tell a moderator as fast as he can.

I've seen him get many of people banned. So here's fair warning...If you are Peter jens then you will soon be banned again because I'm sure he's already reported you and got the mods checking your IP address.

If not you've got nothing to worry about as long as you don't let him get you too worked up.

I don't know why some people are like that, but they are...

For the record they get themselves banned.

But when another has deep disdain for another, as witnessed above in the pure ad hominem attack, then it is the fault of the one held in disdain as to why.

Sadly, the above has been on attack mode against me since I've been on this site. Which is why the ignore function is of great value.

Reasons for this disdain? 1) Threads I started exposing heresy. 2) My unabashed Calvinism. 3) Adherence to a Biblical Gospel. 4) Concern for contextual and exegetical interpretation of Scripture. 5) Redundant, but exposure of false teachers she adores. 6) Exposing the errors of inherent faith and choosing one's self into heaven, beliefs that are completely unbiblical. 7) There's more...

All these positions have been relentlessly attacked because I hold to them, and then when others ban themselves it has to be because of me, not because of them. "I did it."

And not a bit of ad hominem in anything she's said above...

Ok preacher...whatever you say...I'm not looking to get into a big blow out with you at the moment.

Just for the record though, I hold no disdain for you personally...It's your tactics I disagree with mostly. I've read more than a few posts that you have made to others that I would have actually agreed with you on, if you would not have been so rude to them and used a little more love and charity.

And yeah, they say that ignore button is lovely for some, but I have never used it or reported anyone no matter what they have said to me. I can disagree with folks without holding any animosity toward them. I don't feel the need to get a moderator involved.

Amen! Preacher. Thank you for standing up for Jesus and the one and only, True Gospel. False teachers are, "deceivers and imposters, keep away from them" Romans16:17. Their words may be syrupy sweet but their gospel is poison for all who drink. Please do not be deceived by their sugary coated words, its all a lie from hell.

Hello p4t,

"God bless you, may the Lords love bring wisdom and insight into your life.
Some mistake responses for a certain expression of emotion, but in truth
"I really just want to bless you", and bring you Gods love and peace.
\o/ glory to the King", (Just more sugar coated lies from Peter Jens).
False teachers are dangerous.

"I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them." Romans16:17

This thread, Not By Works, is full of deceiving impostors, and some say, "oh be nice to the little impostor" that way he can take away more unaware people and run them into a ditch.
Some people have given their life for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Yeah I typically report only "blatantly offensive"people(people that curse openly or worse) and "targeters"(people that seek desperately to find dirt on someone so as to judge them and make themselves look good by comparison).

it is obvious you have not studied the OT Abraham was considered righteous before Issaac was even conceived. In fact, AfTER abraham was considered righteous based on his faith (gen 15) He commited adultry with his servant, and bore the child of sin.

Lol. Again you need to study,

Noah built the ark BECAUSE HE HAD FAITH
Abraham did all his works BECAUSE HE HAD FAITH.

true faith works. period. We are saved by grace through faith NOT WORK lest anyone should boast.

You want to puff yourself up with your works, feel free. But as Paul said, Not before God, because abraham trusted God and it was credited him as righteousness.

it was not abrahams work that saved him, it was his LIVING faith.
it is obvious you have not studied the OT Abraham was considered righteous before Issaac was even conceived.
I most certainly have studied the OT Abraham and without the faith only filters you obviously use.

But do you want to know, O foolish man that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the alter? James 2:20-21

Anyone reading this without filters can see that James is clearly stating the need for works in this passage. Not any works but a certain command. The command to offer Isaac. Believing the command was not required, the work was required.

Do you not see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?

Regardless of when Abraham was justified, it was this work of obedience that perfected his faith. Nothing else.

And said, "By myself I have sworn, declares the Lord, because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son, I will surely bless you, and I will surely multiply your offspring as the stars of heaven and as the sand of the seashore. And your offspring shall possess the gate of his enemies and in your offspring shall all the nations of the earth be blessed, because you have obeyed my voice. Genesis 22:16-18

God has granted favor to many, some have passed the test, such as Abraham and others such as King Saul have not. Abraham lived up to the blessings given to him and God was pleased. King Saul failed to live up to his calling and God regretted His choice.

You want to puff yourself up with your works, feel free.
Tell me, what works do you suspect I have used to "puff" myself up with?

It's best not to worry about what people say or think. We're supposed to worry about what God says. So yeah, if something goes against the word of God point it out and show scripture as to why you think it does. It's alright to stand up for the word of God and what you believe, but it is not alright to be nasty and rude to others, and just fight and argue over the word of God. Well that's how I see it anyhow...

Colossians 4: 5-6
5 Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.
6 Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

Wow! You guys not only deem the person of choice to be an imposter, but now you're giving yourselves licence to treat them badly.

Congratulations! you've just sunk to a new all-time low.

You don't even see yourselves as evil for doing that, do you?

Didn't think so.

Delusion is a powerful thing when God sends it.

Because it's "not evil" it's what is right, you "tell the truth" if you are "for God" if you're gonna "be nice" to everyone then you'll get "trodded upon" granted you can still converse but you have to "have a foundation" and "stick to it",Jesus did not "shy away" from "truth" when a false teacher came tempting he set them straight.
