Now see? You're assuming that they don't really know God. Why can't you accept that as sinful humans, we DO still sin after being saved? It's obvious satan will do ANYTHING to destroy our Christianity. We get tempted to sin, it happens every day, every single day... If we did NOT sin after being saved, we would be immortals in a mortal fallen world. and that wouldn't work too well.

Blue - a good question.

Do you know the difference between sex and intimacy? Or love and desire?
People are made of drives. The last drive to go is sex. And sex is a cruel master, it
will make you its slave, and like all drugs, it will get you higher and higher until you have
lost everything.

So the answer is knowing in Jesus you are loved, through the cross, deeper than anyone
can ever love another human, to the ends of time and existance. But this love can only
work if you open the door and surrender all to Him. No limits, not restrictions, no ifs or
buts, just submission.

Who is my Father? God. My parents were his representatives who sinned and failed in
their weakness and humanity, but God is the perfect provider, and I can love my parents
to whom I owe my existance, because I know God loves me. Learning to walk in this
intimacy changes my needs, the attraction of sex, pornography etc. so I begin to know
real life in Christ, joy morning noon and night, a peace that passes understanding, a praise
that never ends, a joy that lifts my heart to the heavens, times where I never want to come
down.

So all the extreme behaviours are a lack of knowing Christ as a reality in our hearts.
And the first step is always the same, submission and admiting need, in repentance and
faith.

I sinned this morning, this afternoon, not a day goes by without me committing some sin. Not on purpose, but it just happens cos we're human.

blue - we are forever knowing more about God, what union with Him means, oneness, love
truth, perception. So this walk is a walk of continual revelation and discovery, probably forever,
because new situations will always occur and the Lord desires we discover how to express love through
everything and in everything to His glory.

I think we are also forever in need, poor in spirit, always meek, needing to know more,
wanting to know what is the right thing to do, always sad at failure and loss, but rejoicing
in Christ, looking for resolutions. So the arrival is the walk, the beginning is eternal,
and the maturity, is always something further on.

Where does insanity begin and sanity stop?

When how you behave does not matter and the consequences you have on others is removed.

We spend all our education system to show cause and effect and to take responsibility for what
you do and its consequences. Our regulations put heavy obligations on people to be responsible
and will be held accountable with prison if this is negligently abused.

Yet there is a group of believers that believe not only will God ignore your behaviour once you
are in Christ the consequences do not matter, only your good works.

Now this is irresponsible teaching and literally nuts. Would you say to a bus driver, it does not
matter how fast you go or who you run over, we accept you as a good responsible loving
individual worthy of eternal fellowship with God, to be given real eternal responsibility of
judging others and taking on tasks for which the consequences are vastly more important.

The answer would be not ever, not even for a second. In fact sinners in their sin know how
better to behave. But the delusion is so strong, these people are happy to condemn, call evil
those who hold to love and care, responsibility and being lights and salt to this lost world.

How more insane can you get? Maybe a spirit has possessed them with anger and a desire
for vengance for all the hurts they felt over decades in very oppressive and onerous fellowships
when they did not know the power of Christ working in their hearts. Poor lost souls, turned into
wraths sent to destroy the church from within as if they have wisdom, but empowered with all
the biblical knowledge but none of the emotional love and care that should be present.

I have NEVER said that we don't have to account for our actions after we're saved. Nor do I think that we get to do whatever we want.. Sin happens. Temptation comes along, sometimes we give in. For example, a couple days ago I was trying to put something together and it wouldn't co-operate. I ended up popping out a couple of swears. Now did I intend to swear if what I was putting together wouldn't work? NO. I swore out of frustration, not temptation. There is a difference. :) So see, sometimes doing something sinful DOES literally come out of nowhere..

arkkkkkkk :) as in ark my favorite anchor... as in anchor of the ship as in anchor of my soul.... Hope... Hebrews 6:19 19We have this hope as an anchor for the soul,

Hebrews 6:19Amplified Bible (AMP)

[SUP]19 [/SUP]This hope [this confident assurance] we have as an anchor of the soul [it cannot slip and it cannot break down under whatever pressure bears upon it]—a safe and steadfast hope that enters within the veil [of the heavenly temple, that most Holy Place in which the very presence of God dwells],

Just curious dc but why did ya like this.. was it because Jesus is the hope or is it because you reconise that this means your hope or is it a gift we all recieve ?

This is not a trick question...

I reckon hope is a gift..

Without hope you can not be saved because you dont have an anchor... just my thought mate and sorry for calling suggesting you may be a nazy i just thought yoo where using the word liar to many times by calling me a cake taker which im only a cake eater and sharer.. i like to share my pie

A lot of the conversations here are somewhat more complicated than this.
I agree with your way of expressing things.

What you might not be aware of but these guys are happy to condemn
most of the Kingdom of heaven to hell. They turn doing things within
the body as potentially evil, because of motivational issues, rather than
just encouraging people to love and share and glorify God, they want
everyone to be bound in examining everything in Christ, and seeing evil
where there is none, while ignoring real sin and damage where there is
plenty.

This has made me their enemy, not out of my choice but theirs.
If they make me their enemy, I have to wonder at the spirit behind this all.

When the sermon on the mount becomes condemnation to their hearts, and
not a delight of joy and freedom, it shows where they really spiritually stand.

It is really quite simple, but they want to distract and get terribly worked up
over nothing and accuse people of the most terrible crimes where there is
nothing but invention behind it all. So I just praise the Lord, because the enemy
can not defeat Gods plans or His ways, Amen.

Jimbo, hope does NOT save you. Grace, faith, and belief--these things DO save you. :) Why do you need hope as an anchor, when GOD is your anchor? Hope is a fleeting emotion, it can disappoint us and vanish. God is forever, never changing and always with us.

So have I and people that have been here know who has done this too even though they deny it now. It's too bad. God bless them as we can see something is drastically wrong somewhere.

The sky is blue....

God will be faithful to all of us.

All is well...:)

I know this is shocking to some, but the bible assumes on every single page from Genesis to Revaluation that man has the natural ability to obey God...This truth is all but lost in what is known as Christianity ever since Augustine, however it is still alive and a well known fact among those of the Christian faith...

Get right with God or He will get right with you.

This means following Jesus in His ways, learning to love, emptying yourself of
impurity, hatred, envy, jealousy, lust, covetousness, impurity through the blood
of the lamb.

We are called to be lights, the salt of the world, a city on a hill.

If we are not, we deserve to be trampled under foot and cast out.
Which do you want to be? Where is your heart and anchor, in the world or in Christ?

Unfortunately many are failing to heed Gods warning.
Behave sinfully and the fire awaits. Walk in His ways and know His son and His
love working through you, and you will find eternal life, the Kingdom of heaven
dwelling within.

Christ came to set us free from the yoke of bondage to live in His glorious light.

Each day above the clouds the sky is blue, yet many deny it is a place they can
ever get to, there are always clouds in the way. Do not listen to these people of
unbelief, who deny the power of godliness and purity, and wish to compromise with
the world and walk in the way of Balaam

They have left the straight way and wandered off to follow the way of Balaam son of Bezer, who loved the wages of wickedness.
2 Peter 2:15

Balaam knew God, but wanted to get paid for his advice.

These people are springs without water and mists driven by a storm. Blackest darkness is reserved for them. 18 For they mouth empty, boastful words and, by appealing to the lustful desires of the flesh, they entice people who are just escaping from those who live in error. 19 They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity—for “people are slaves to whatever has mastered them.” 20 If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and are overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning.
2 Peter 2:17-20

Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
Eph 5:1

You would think there is something terrible happening in the dispute between
people.

But it is just one group deny you can love from the heart and walk righteously.

All they testify to is they are still of the world and not of the Kingdom.
The problem is always believing where you are is where you will stay.
God says have faith in me, and obey, and I will take you into my Kingdom.
