Is this a serious question? They are judged and sentenced to hell. It's what we all deserve, but God in his mercy and wishing to be glorified and worshiped, wishing to show his love and grace has chosen a people out of the world and called them to him through Christ. It's not by merit, not for anything they have done. It's only by God and his mercy and for his purposes.

You may decide this is unfair. What's unfair about it? The fair thing to do would be for God to let us rot in our sins and sentence us all to hell. He owes us nothing.

Do you believe the bible when it says God chose a people (Israel)? What happened to the rest of the nations? Why was it okay for him to single out an entire people group in the Old Testament, but somehow it's wrong in the new? What about people who never hear the Gospel? What do you think happens to them? Why didn't God give them a chance to make a choice?

You have to understand that we are fallen creatures, are accountable for our sinful nature, and God owes us nothing. Our will, according to scripture, is in bondage to sin. The lost man is a slave to his sin and will not, because he can not, choose God. He will always choose sin unless God intervenes. The lost man is dead in his sins. A dead man cannot bring himself back to life. This is expressed over and over in scripture.

Salvation by grace through faith which is the gift of God is one of the greatest displays of God's power in the bible and is a bonafide miracle as it quite literally defies nature.
God was clear...

I will have mercy upon whom I choose to have mercy and I will harden whom I choose to harden....HE is God.....end of story

Imagine you are given a car, but have no money for petrol, have no
license to drive and the tyres are all flat.

You can boast I have a car, but it is of no use. It might as well be scrapped.
It is as good as dead, empty, useless. You can go out and use it to hold
meetings and pretend you go from one place to another or help you friends
with lifts.

This is faith with no love or obedience, saying you know Christ and continuing
in sin, having the form of faith but none of its power, and worse still having
no clue why it does not work.

Some guys are thinking if they all push the cars together they can all pretend
it is working and maybe more people will join.

The workers for always default to JAMES......out of context I might add........the bible is clear....salvation, being born again is based upon faith, grace and mercy....IT HAS ZERO to do with works on our part.

JAMES, for the MILLIONTH TIME, is SPEAKING to the ability of MEN to see the INVISIBLE faith that saves a man....it has NOTHING to do with WORKS saving a man......

PAUL covers this as well in ROMANS and GALATIANS...HE CALLS ALL who blend WORKS with FAITH to complete SALVATION FOOLS and BEWITCHED.

JESUS covers this as well....ALL who come before HIS throne boasting of their WONDERFUL WORKS IN HIS NAME WILL be denied entrance and cast from his presence....<----REFERENCE the BEWITCHED FOOLS found in GALATIANS

NOT BY WORKS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS WHICH WE HAVE DONE, BUT ACCORDING to his MERCY has he saved us....

CAIN pushed WORKS and he is identified as a FALSE TEACHER in JUDE............ALL who push works are FALSE TEACHERS.......

Um, no, that isn't faith, it's some made up hocus pocus straw man argument to try to reinforce your misconceptions and false accusations upon others. No one here believes that nonsense is true saving faith.

That is all he has and those like him....nothing but deceit, lies, made up scenarios, false accusations and half truths, implied lifestyles etc............

Until you address your sin of Evil speaking, the transforming power of God will flow through you and become salt water that kills instead of the life giving waters that God wants you to give to others.

I'm assuming you posted these verses to display your superiority amongst us wretched hateful sinners? Thank God you aren't like us.

Rather, thank God that he is able to save and keep those he has saved and hasn't forsaken them in their sins. I try to give you the benefit of the doubt sometimes, and then you go and post a bunch of out of context verses to make yourself supreme.

Assumptions are dangerous things. The truth is I posted them to show God
blesses the righteous. This is His heart.

Saints are redeemed forgiven sinners who are actively in fellowship with the King.
It sounds like rather than accepting who you are you are writing yourself off
even though you have believed in Christ.

I find it sad that you think I am being superior in any shape of form.
Do you not know the great place God has called you to in Christ.

How have you listened to the enemy and condemned yourselves as unworthy.

Who said anything about running ourselves down? Who said we don't believe we are redeemed? Who said following Christ is a burden? We are just being honest about ourselves and our relationship with God and living in reality, something you seem to have trouble grasping. You know quite well the intent behind the verses you posted whether you admit it or not. It was pretty obvious.

So my little girl won 2 Blue medals last Sat in Science Olympiad (3,2, 1 blast off and data crunchers). Praise God, he is awesome like that.
He has truly blessed me and watching her grow up is awesome. After she was baptized in 1st grade she told me how she was telling her teacher about it. Later that day a little girl asked what it meant to be baptized and she told her "it's when you accept Jesus in your life and know that God loves you so much you become part of His family"

I don't think I could preach the gospel as purely and with as much love and trust as my seven year old daughter did.

Just something different to meditate upon.
