Do you realize their are 8 scriptures in the bible that admonish us to "hold fast" to the gospel unto the end. The question is: if ES is immediate upon belief, why must we "hold fast" until the end. If our EL is guaranteed, why must we "hold fast" to the things we have learned until the end?

It is because in the apostles life time, they saw a lot of new converts, who believed and were immediately saved, but then fell away and were eventually lost. So their call to "hold fast" even until the end. ES is false security. We must not be hearers of the word only, but doers of the word and "hold fast" until the Lord comes again.

Another word is "stedfast".
1 Corinthians 15:58
58 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not [a]vain in the Lord. (did Paul really say that!!!)

Why must we remain stedfast in the work of the Lord if our EL is assured immediately after we believe?

But I expect you are "holding fast" and will be "stedfast" and so you will be OK.
Now your playing God saying those people were saved.

How low will you sink before the lightbulb comes on.

So to renounce him is because you go back to Judaism or Islam or to be a Homo?

When you say Homo's do you mean Homosexual?

Now I'm assuming you do.
If so can you add to the list

The discussion is persecution.

If while under persecution from one antichrist hate group or another, it matters not, a person is persuaded to renounce or deny Christ, then they have returned to unbelieving.

He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. But the cowardly, unbelieving,
and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire...

7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. 8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”Revelation 21:7-8

Jps man centered doctrine of revolving door salvation to even those who have no genuine faith based according to their own will and what they do

where Gods promises are ignored
and His power belittled

where you ignore the work God does in His children and what it means to be born again

backed up with no scripture that he doesnt personally twist
It’s sad you deny the very truth that can save you.

The promise of salvation is to those who believe and continue in the faith to the end.

  • if indeed you continue in the faith,

21 And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled 22 in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight— 23 if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.

Remaining steadfast does not mean holding onto salvation. Being steadfast equals staying in God Word and growing in order to have an answer when asked, not being mislead by "false doctrine" and holding onto the hope which is our eternal salvation and not being led astray by someone spewing forth the false teaching that we can lose what only God and the Holy Spirit can secure.

There is not one soul on this site or in any church/denomination who can possibly keep all commandments, the Law, to ensure their eternal salvation. No not one.

whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law for sin is the transgression of the law

if you fail the law at any point youre guilty of all

no flesh shall be justified by the works of the law

Jesus is the way and the truth

.... God did a wonderful job preserving His word

regardless of those who attempt to pervert it or cannot understand it

Blot out of the book of life is to be removed.

Very clear.

you think the 7 candlesticks represent bundles of salvation that are taken away?

no.

they represent the churches

your false gospel doesnt hold up to any sort of biblical standards

Revelation 2
2 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;

To ephesus specifically- an actual church
this is what HE (Jesus) says
to the 7 candlesticks which are the 7 churches

BENS ANTI-GRACE GOSPEL - 0

TRUTH - 1
^^^^^^^

ben claims these verses are about born again believers losing salvation

ben claims many verses "destroy" eternal security

ben has yet to post one
To some, (without the Holy Spirit), the obvious is a big blur. Amen Mcgee!

Salvation is not given to those who merely believe,

It is given to those who have faith.

Learn the difference between true saving faith and mere belief (even demons believe) one can believe in the gospel. and yet never entrust their eternity to the gospel based on true repentance.

Believe is not a condition one must do to be saved, it is a place where we arrive after true repentance. And it is the work of God. (john 6, it is the work of God we believe in the one he sent)
You learn the difference between those who believe and immediately are saved, and those who believe and are not immediately saved. Which is it. You have preached for months that the second someone believes they are saved. Now because justpassinthrough has shown you that someone who believes can lose their salvation, you are scrambling to another truth. Now you say, just because you believe does not save you. Wow, geesh, wow. What is it?

Did John 3:16 just get ripped out of the bible?

Your question has been answered numerous times, Your continued ignoring of those answers and continuing to act as if they have not been answered just makes yourself look bad man.

Again, One can believe and NOT HAVE FAITH, if you do not have faith, Your not saved, whether you believe or not.
Once again, you have been preaching that 1 second after you believe (John 3:16) you are saved. Now you don't preach that any more. Good going. You are right. You are not saved 1 second after you believe. That is just the beginning of the salvation process, not the end.

huh?

"divide out?"

i dont do that

what are you talking about

all of scripture is good

you just need to understand what youre reading

if you just take verses you think you understand and end up pushing some false gospel

while ignoring other scriptures you are in error

you may suggest thats what i do

but you cannot back that claim up
You did say that I do not know how to divide. How do you divide the word then between the law and grace?

Jesus is much more into good works, in fact he never uses the word 'grace' in the NT. So do you divide Jesus's words between the law and grace?
