If I said, "why, yes! I still worship Joseph Smith and hope to one day take a vacation at Koleb" - then you could have lectured me on the dangers of the cult.

Hy low, It won't be in my walmart concordance and it's not intrested enough to exaustively go find it. I have worked for a non denominational Christian ministry long enough to realize that Jesus the Christ died once for all mankind. Weather they accept it or not is a personal decision on which PERSONAL SALVATION hinges. It's up to us to accept or reject the blood sacrifice of the lamb of God for the remission of sins on a permanant, unconditional basis on an unconditional faith. Jesus paid the price already so if we believe and accept it, we don't have to. @dcontroversal, this is your specialty.

There is more drivel and tripe being dished out from pulpits than ever before. Most claim it is for Christs sake but like our own nation being a Democrat or Republican dosn't make one more or less american. It's a matter of the heart. If someone wants to work for their salvation, let them but don't let them forget taht the first person to see paradise was a criminal on the cross next to Jesus. The only work he ever didwas to defendJesus with his dying breath. No works, just respect and faith. He was saved!

Not sure who you mean and don't kneed to know, but there are a few around that fit the bill. That is why I say, you have to love the ignore list.

Hi BaptistBibleBeliever, I don't believe we have had a conversation before so I just wanted to say hello and say thank you for this beautiful song titled "God Leads Us Along" By" Pastor George A Young. The lyrics are wonderful and O so true. "Some through the fire, but all through the blood;"

About the author of this song quote;
"The author of this hymn, "God Lead Us Along", was a little known preacher whom we only know as preacher and carpenter whose fame only came after he was already dead. He spent a lifetime humbly serving the Lord with his wife in small rural churches of the USA. He was so poor that life for him and his family was a difficult one. His name was George A Young."

If I offended you with that post the other day, I am sorry. But I meant it to be good information only, as I have found it to be very useful over the past 3 decades. I know some people read these posts like a newspaper, never missing a post. I do not, mainly because I am a very slow reader, and I am 69 years old, so I just pick and choose what I read. So I did not see the post that explained your conversion to Christianity. Please forgive this old man, but the information is GOOD, use it that way. Thank You.
