Do you believe sheep who become lost need salvation?
According to Hebrews if a saved person 'could' lose that salvation . . . it is impossible for them to be saved again. Therefore, a saved 'sheep' can not be lost.

Salvation is a free gift . . . we are sealed with the Holy Spirit . . . we have an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven.

God is not pleased with so many people calling Him a liar and saying that His arm is too short that it can not save.

That does not say he never obeyed God and lived like the world. it just says he had no reward.. it was all burnt, for whatever reason.

A true believer will not live in sin, as John said, because they have been born of God..they may nt produce fruit, but they can not live in sin.
Habitually that is......David as an example....Believers can and do sin at times, but their way of life will not reflect a life of continual sin......

Because #1 is true . . . believers should never fear going into the Tribulation. Hence, a pre-tribulation rapture.
Wrong again.....

tribulation<->thilipsis = pressure, persecution, put the squeeze on

wrath<->orge = fiery indignation of God

Tribulation and wrath ARE NOT THE SAME THING.......PEOPLE need to get this out of their heads....two different words, two different applications..

THROUGH MUCH TRIBULATION WE MUST ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD

WE ARE NOT APPOINTED TO WRATH, BUT TO OBTAIN SALVATION.........

God inspired the words for a REASON.....!!

These kings will understand it is Gods wrath, And it happens during the tribulation period.

I realize you have bought into a post-tribulation scenario . . . so I don't expect you to agree with me.

Rev_6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Rev_14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

Rev_14:19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

Rev_16:19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

Rev_19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

. . .

"And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come" (I Thessalonians 1:10).

Yeah.....that is their perception....now go read the 7th trump where the announcment is made in Heaven before the throne that God's wrath has arrived....

so let us evaluate...

a. People hiding and saying God's wrath has come

b. The announcement made in heaven before God's throne that his wrath has arrived...

I will go with B.....

It all is part of Gods wrath

Look at the OT. How many times has God used man or armies to carry out his wrath? After the 7th trump is just the culmination. It will end with the return of Christ himself.

The tribulation is called a few things

1. Time of Jacobs trouble
2. Tribulation
3. Period of Gods judgment or wrath
4. Daniels 70th week.

There is 3.5 years of peace, Then all hell breaks lose. That all hell breaking lose is part of Gods wrath. (Tyhe tribulation is actually only 3.5 years, yet people say it is the whole 7 year period)

Sorry....I cannot take two different words, with different definitions, with different applications and equate them to the same thing.........the announced wrath of God is at the 7th trump...end of story bro!

I no longer buy the 3.5 years of peace ...Daniel tells us there is exactly 1335 days left, the first 1185 days was the ministry of Jesus unto the Jews, they rejected as a whole and will endure the last 1335 days....30 days of peace, 1260 of tribulation, 45 of wrath.....

My stance based upon math and study ;) haha

I disagree, John is stating a fact. Whoever is born of God can not live in habitual, ongoing sin. And John is correct. A Child of God can not live as the world and continue in it, Even the prodigal son was taken to his knees so he had to return. God chastens those who are his.
People have A LOT of habitual sins..sins of quick temper..impatience..drinking too much..smoking etc..pre marital sex...all things that some christiams do and a bunch more..

Yes I agree, it is possible to walk in the flesh, but the believer who does will reap what they sow.

Christians SHOULDNT live in habitual sin but the word "cant" isnt correct...they CAN but they SHOULDNT

I hope both of you do not mind my dropping in, to share my interpretation of the TERMS both of you are using. I maybe able to shed some light on the disagreement, but it will certainly will help to relieve my BOREDOM. LOL

DC, you are right about the difference in Terms.

But you overlooked part of the explanation that is CRITICAL for the Correct Interpretation:

Tribulation - Can be used to describe TRYING TIMES among GOD's People (O.T. and N.T.) whether by Persecution, Wars, Plagues, Unjust Rulers, etc.

Great Tribulation - is a term for the LAST YEARS of man's rule on earth, the 70th Week of Daniel, just Before CHRIST RETURNS to Set Up His Kingdom, effecting the Tribulation Saints, during their Martyrdom, which comes AFTER the Calling Out of the Bride of Christ.

WRATH - effects all Unbelievers that have REJECTED CHRIST turning instead to receive the Mark of the Beast. Fulfilling THESE PROPHESIES - Zech. 14:1-15, Rev. 6:1-17, Rev. 19:11-21, among others. WE will not BE HERE, because of this Promises: 1 Th. 5:9, and Rev. 3:10.

I have found that most heated arguments, can be a misinterpretation of TERMS the other is using. I hope the above will HELP, to keep that from happening. I serious doubt that DC is Post-Tribulation, and if that is RIGHT, then I am just in time to help resolve those terminology differences. I do not know for sure, so DC please explain your views on Post-Tribulation?

If Both of you want ADDITIONAL INFORMATION, pleases see my Thread that I start July 9, 2014, entitled:
