Again my friend, you are singling out one verse to build your doctrine on. It says they died in Adam in Romans 5:12-19, which meant spiritual death. It did not say they are going to die later on my friend, but died.
There have been at least 3 places in Scripture referenced in this thread either affirming or alluding that children are saved.

David's child.

Jesus specifically telling us children will be in heaven (and here comes the allegories!)

Paul telling us he was alive before the commandment of the Law.

This kind of doctrine is exactly why I never refer to myself as a Calvinist, and don't like it when people refer to me as one, even though MUCH of what he believed I also believe. But to be fair, I don't know what John Calvin himself believed about children in hell.

There isn't a single reference that I'm aware of that says children will be cast into hell. You have to stretch Scripture to make that fit.AND ignore Scripture that suggests otherwise.

I don't know how to make it any clearer brother. The text is a proof text that babies go to heaven?
In and unto itself. No. I don't think so. And didn't say so. But those children are there by the Blood and Grace of Christ. What would make other children ineligible for Christ's Blood and Grace?

My friend, where I have said there will be babies in hell? Please quote it where I have.

I think 2 Samuel 12 is quite the stretch to say that David knew his child was in heaven. He was grieving the loss of his child and was wanting to die with him, is how I see it.

If babies are in heaven, who’s running the nursery?

Again we are at the crossroads. If some children go to heaven and others to hell. What caused God to chose some over others. Or is there another reason?

For the record, I do not believe babies enter into eternity in the state of being a baby. There is something more for some of you callow ones to tear me into pieces over. ;)

Funny you should ask that! I'm one of those weird dudes that love taking care of children.

I stayed home during the day and took care of our boys as babies and children, and worked at night. AND I LOVED IT!

Here’s the thing, if babies do not enter the eternal state as babies, then maybe God does not see them as innocent babies as we tend to?

Look at the times God commanded Israel to completely obliterate nations who were their enemies, even the babies. In my opinion, how we see babies is not how He sees them. Just my opinion.

hmm, Good point. But does this mean those babies went to hades or paradise when they died?

But that is what you were implying by using it so in essence you were saying it.
Maybe so. But in conjunction with the other passages being discussed. When it comes to ANY children in hell, I'd counsel my brothers to take a cue from Mel Brooks and abstain!
