are you a farmer? what food did you plant? 2 acre that i think is a big area. do you do it by hand with other people or do you have machines? how big rocks?
I keep numerous plots planted on my property for deer and turkey mainly.....not a farmer per se, a Machinist by trade, parts for jets, missiles, space shuttle (when it was operational) etc......basically retired 7 years ago at 45.....now I spend time here and time in AU..........when here I plant food plots for the animals as I live on 50 acres in Mark Twain National forest in Missouri.......I do take deer and turkey once in a while to eat.......or share with the poor people

Rocks not that big....from fist sized to small......

I still never said or indicated that works are a gift from GOD.....it states the works were prepared before the casting down of the world......can you quote a verse which states works are a GIFT........

JESUS said....AFTER we have done all that we can do, to consider ourselves a lowly servant only doing those things which we have been commanded to do

I can find numerous "gifts of GOD" in the bible......I have not seen one verse which states the works we are to do are gifts....
NIV1984 1 Corinthians 12:1-11
Spiritual Gifts
Now about spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be ignorant. You know that when you were pagans, somehow or other you were influenced and led astray to mute idols. Therefore I tell you that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit. There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines.

Who's working in you? Is it the same God that works all of them in all men?

Did you receive it from Him who prepared them in advance for us to do?

NIV1984 1 Corinthians 4:7
For who makes you different from anyone else? What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as though you did not?

NO, fruits of the Spirit produce good works.

Faith which works by love Galatians 5:6

Works do not produce fruit. I thought DC said "Christ produces the fruit" Now you have our works producing fruit.

This is why you guy's method of interpretation is so bad.

:ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:

Ten people believe works producing fruit, even though we have already established biblically that "Christ, the vine produces fruit"

I don't have to say anything else. Perfect example of how confused you people are.

Love is a fruit. The works that we do don't mean anything if they are not done in love. (see 1 Corinthians 13).

Therefore, fruit produces work.

Christ being the Noun in the clause would govern the case of the preposition "in" (en). Christ is in the Greek Dative case. Please notice how the Dative case is understood below. Couple that with how we understand the Locative case in English. Do you see any similarities?

N-DSM
Part of Speech: Noun
Case: Dative (indirect object, "to"; also location "in", "at"; instrument, "with")
Number: Singular
Gender: Masculine
Thank you for your reply. I agree it is in the dative.

Where is that verse at
We are rewarded for the works that produce fruit.

God gives us the power. And the tools and the energy, but we still have to go and do the work/
I thought the DC said the vine bears the fruit, not us.

No works acceptable to God unless done in love. And love is a fruit. SO love produces works that bear fruit.

Fruit bearing more fruit.

Isn't that how it works?

1 Corinthians 13-
13 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not love, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not love, it profiteth me nothing.

Works PRODUCE fruit.

You work in the field to produce fruit.
when you work to sow and harvest, don't you need seed to plant? And where does the seed come from? Do you think you can produce fruitwithout seed? You can plow the field all you want, (in the bible, fruit refers also to wheat and grain) but if you don't have seed, nothing will grow.

Fruit produces fruit. Wheat produces wheat. Mere work without seed produces nothing.
Therefore, fruit produces increase of fruit. Like the parable of the sower says.

The vine produces fruit in us that manifests in works that bear fruit.

Would love be a fruit according to this scripture Macabeus? I am thinking it is more part of our nature in Christ. The new man.

Rom 5:5 Now this hope does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

Rom 5:5 Now this hope does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
It is called a fruit in Galatians 5.

Lookey here...

Genesis 1:
11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. 12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Just as God created herb and trees with fruit yielding seed after it's kind, so also He created us in Christ Jesus to bear fruit with seed. And what does the seed do? It produces more fruit.

a. Creation

b. production of fruit

c. reproduction through seed

Fruit comes from seed.

But seed comes from fruit.

And in Genesis, the fruit that bears the seed originally came from GOD.

Fruit comes from seed. Yes or no?

But seed comes from fruit. Yes or no?

And in Genesis, the fruit that bears the seed that bears the fruit originally came from GOD.
Fruit comes from seed. Yes or no?

But seed comes from fruit. Yes or no?

And in Genesis, the fruit that bears the seed originally came from GOD. Yes or no?

So in us, the increase of fruit comes from the seed of the fruit that comes from God. Yes or no?

And how long did it take for the created trees in Genesis 1 to begin bearing fruit?;)
