Hey bro, I will be honest. I have no idea what Mac believes. Thats not my beef with him (or peter or fran)
My beef is their attitude, their nitpicking, their attacking people. Their demanding, Their refusal to see their own sin, but having no problem spending days expoasing someone elses sin. Their slandering others, and refusing to admit it, Their continued blame shifting when they are exposed. Their hypocrisy.
I have many friends who do not believe in eternal security. That is not my beef at all.

The above reminds me of a kid in a playground picking on someone, throwing a punch
and as a fight breaks out blames the other party for starting it.

In a sense, we have to. Not only for the strengthening of our own convictions, but to help others who come after us. It's pointless to "preach to the choir" only. It would be nothing but an echo chamber.

And you never know what seeds are being planted. A person with heretical beliefs may actually be reached. Maybe not today, but in the future, remembering some debates here. The Holy Spirit has lots of ways to touch one's soul.

I agree......we defend the truth for those that come in here and that is one of the problems with Christianity today....NO backbone, fear of offending people and or saying what needs to be said..........no wonder evil is rising and truth being suppressed......if we cannot make a stand for truth RIGHT NOW WHOLE FREE to do so.....we are in BIG trouble when the crap hist the fan....... @eternally-gratefull

The ones who show themselves to be that way, like "argueless" who doesn't really respond, but only cut and pastes the same things over and over, should be on ignore. Others who just love(d) to cause dissension, like Fran, also should be ignored. Peter is on the edge, simply for his deception after returning from being banned with a new identity.

Remember, we are commanded to contend for the faith. Usually that involves lots of struggle.

I do not want to quit. But if I keep coming in every morning and the only posts are 2 or 3 people arguing with he same 2 knuckleheads, I am done, because the room has lost its effectiveness. If you notice, there are only a few people posting anymore. I am quite sure thats why
