By your immortal spirit, sinning flesh preaching of acceptable before God you are
calling Jesus a liar.

As you cannot have an immortal spirit, all you have is a sinning behaviour under
judgement as declared by Gods word. Without faith and repentance there is no
cleansing or Holiness or Acceptability because one is just an evil doer, to which
Jesus responds "I never knew you, evil doer."
Petey......nothing you say has value.....you have no credibility here based upon your complete lack of honesty, disregard for the rules of the site and coming back after being banned at least twice.....nor does your psycho babel meet the standard of truth......good luck

Blah blah blah....
Do you know JESUS.....obviously not --->White washed coffins filled with the bones of dead men, Blind leaders of the blind, Hypocrites just to name three.........
How about Elijah....obviously not-----> Maybe your god slumbereth or is on a journey.......
How about John....obviously not------->You generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee the coming wrath....
I guess the above three had no love hey when they done the above?
You just judged the above three by your post and your nothing more than a mouthy hypocrite...end of story!
Defending sinful behaviour without repentance of the behaviour in the present moment and
after the actions is just rebellion and standing with the lost.

20 The rest of mankind that were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood--idols that cannot see or hear or walk.
21 Nor did they repent of their murders, their magic arts, their sexual immorality or their thefts
Rev 9

The people in the future, still need to repent of sinful behaviour, to stop doing evil and do good
to find Gods favour. All through scripture behaviour determines what one is, righteous or sinner.

The righteous are righteous in Gods eyes because of their faith in Him which is linked to their
behaviour, because the righteous walk righteously because they believe this is the best way to
live, though not to justify themselves, but because they literally believe in being good.

Evil people look at being good as unnecessary restraint, avoiding doing fun things which if they
could they would really want to. What they do not know, is the fun things are just selfish gratification
that rots in the hand when you have it, but looks great at a distance when you do not.
Like a guy driving a fast can down a road for the looks of others, not because they know anything about
cars. It is really this stupid and vain glorious.

You’re a sinner; to say otherwise is to call God a liar. Good luck with that one.
You speak as a sinner not as a saint.
I wonder would you know what dying for ones faith actually means, as being a sinner
betraying ones friends is not worse than anything else, and gets you out of trouble.

Unfortunately God judges and kills people for this very attitude.
I am not trying to get one over on you, this is just Gods own testimony.
It is why David got angry with God, because to us, we compromise so easily, God can never
and will never. That is what holiness means. God bless you

Hi dc,

You are right, a sinner has no value before God. I am glad you agree, and as a sinner I am
to be dismissed and condemned to the lake of fire.

But as a saint, shinning for Christ and sharing His love, in dwelt in the Holy Spirit, forgiven and
cleansed because I have repented of my sins, what I share is His gospel of joy and victory.

So there you have your dilemma. You want to accept sinners as saved people yet you condemn
the very thing you claim to believe and oppose the very thing God is offering you, a walk of love
with Him into eternity. God bless you

Exactly; I am a sinner, with a repentant heart and unwavering faith in Christ. That equals salvation.

And as far as dying for one’s faith, I lost my life to enter the ministry. That said, I am unworthy to carry Jesus's sandals. To God be the glory.

John 5:24 refutes your misguided views.
24 "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and
will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life."
John 5

To hear someones words means to understand what they mean and put them into practice.
A person can say, do not go on that beach it is a mine field.
They then go on the beach and get blown up.

You would say they heard the words but did not believe them or intended to die.
Another way of saying this is they did not hear the words.

When Jesus says abide in me, if you do not abide in me and my words in you, you
are like a dead branch that is gathered up and burnt.

Now I know verses can support almost anything if you do not connect them with
the true content and meaning of the speaker, but that is the hearers choice and it is
my job to point this out. After decades of doing this and seeing the numerous and growing
number of links, it is a wonder how self blinded some people are. Ironically the links
are written in innumerable ways, so there is not just one reference and emphasis there
are thousands that weave into a wonderful eternal whole. Praise the Lord, Amen.

A sinner is doomed to judgement unless they are a forgiven cleansed saint.
If you can say you are holy, blameless and righteous I would say amen.

If you cannot say this, then where is your faith in the power of the cross and its cleansing?
Why do you live in spiritual unbelief?

I have to tell you, I would have used similar language as yourself until more recently.
I realised one important thing. It is what God declares we are because we have accepted His
ways that defines us, not how we feel.

The church has rightly focused on sin and failure, but not enough on love and victory, on what
it means to walk like Jesus and be loving to another, or to even to begin to care.
And I mean care.

It struck me if I got involved with another, then maybe they could ask me to do things I would
not want to do, so best not get involved. And then I saw I was lying and excusing sin, not to
love, and to hold back, and not let the love of Christ, who saves to eternity not speak openly
and fully through me. And God bless the Lord, He has healed me, helped me grow and I will
literally get involved, help, speak, share, care and support where I can. Praise the Lord.
Not because it is me, but because this is the Lord working and showing His love through me
to His glory Amen.

Scripture please; book, chapter, verse.
I promise John 5:24 refutes you.
I can see you believe that except one interpretation of one verse is not a solid ground.
Are you building on a believing sinner is saved?

This is such an extreme place to go, you need more than a summary verse to justify yourself.
And I know you could interpret every other scripture to fit your view if you want.

That is why this is a different faith, or belief system. The power of truth is to see others interpretations
and views on the same scriptures. It is also why people who study the bible in detail often lose their
faith or have to shift from rigid interpretations to balanced view drawn from many sources.

Why do you think God has such a vast book as the bible, which covers so much, and has taken 2,000
years to tell this story, and a further 2,000 years to bring us to this technological revolution?

It does not hang on one verse my friend. God bless you

Imagine this

An immortal risks everything on a few verses and a good feeling.
A saint listens to Jesus and what He tells us to do, because Jesus is God our Saviour and His
word is law, and life and love.

A saint has one big advantage. He knows His heart is pure because God has cleansed Him so
he can now see what is right and wrong and where Gods will lies. As James said

27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and
widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world
James 1

There is no great story, just love working for the needy.
And ones heart change, from proud, assertive, pushy individual to loving, gracious, kind, patient
enduring, bold, rejoicing in people and the Lords work. Amen.

Translation: You can’t support your unbiblical opinions with Scripture. Amazing, isn’t it.
There you have it my friend.
I have quoted that Paul walked Blameless, righteous and Holy.
That we are to grow and become pure and blameless, to live a Holy life,
that faith is to help the needy, that to be pure in heart is to see God,
which is all scriptural, yet you come with nothing more than a summary verse
which does not mean what you want it to mean.

Thankfully I am not here to win discussions, just to present Gods word and way.
The way of Christ is the way of the cross, to share in and out of season, for many hearing
will believe and find Him. And ironically the opposition by showing their face actually
demonstrate the battle and the deception that goes on, which I would not have believed
unless it was actually here and now.

2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
4 There is one body and one Spirit--just as you were called to one hope when you were called--
5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism;
6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
Eph 4

24 "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and
will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life."
John 5

9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
11 As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame."
12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile--the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him,
Rom 10

15 Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise--the fruit of lips that confess his name.
16 And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.
Hebrews 13

20 I preached that they should repent and turn to God and prove their repentance by their deeds.
Acts 26

23 If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.
24 He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.
John 14

8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light
9 (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth)
10 and find out what pleases the Lord.
Eph 5

11 Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.
12 For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret.
13 But everything exposed by the light becomes visible,
Ephesians 5

13 For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God's sight, but it is those
who obey the law who will be declared righteous.

Romans 2

20 You foolish man, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless?
21 Was not our ancestor Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar?
22 You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did.
James 2

Summaries are just that, they must be expanded and explained to find their true meaning.
And the summary is always given to point at the reward, salvation.

Jesus put great value on repentant sinners. It is odd, very odd that you argue the worthiness of
sinners, because my point recently has been we are worthy because we can become saints, that is
the value Jesus puts on us.

7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner
who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.
Luke 15

10 In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents."
Luke 15

31 "'My son,' the father said, 'you are always with me, and everything I have is yours.
32 But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.'
Luke 15

The prodigal son is praised because he returned and repented, not because he was a sinner.
Your hatred has turned you dc into a man who cannot see God grace and way, but maybe you
never have been able to.

So yes Jesus counts us worthy to be called His people because we carry our crosses and follow Him

38 anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me
Matt 10

That is cool...........nothing like Roman cities hey......that looks fun as......
It is soo hot here...., the tour guide gave so much information on the lifestyle of the ancient city, how the people did not know what was happening when Mount Vesuvius erupted and were covered in ash and rocks from the volcano quite quickly.
